360 lbs. of marijuana found in Henry County
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
A College Park man was arrested Monday afternoon in Henry County for transporting 360 pounds of marijuana.
Roberto Huff, 43, was stoppedĀ on I-75 in Stockbridge on a routine traffic stop just before 2 p.m., police said.
During the traffic stop, a police dog alerted officers that drugs were in the Ford F250 pick-up Huff was driving, Bolton said.
The officer on the scene lifted the hard top on the bed of the truck and discovered 18 packages of marijuana each weighing about 20 pounds, police said.
Huff had been pulled over for following too closely.
"He was going about 70 mph and was about five feet behind the car in front of him," Henry County police spokesman Capt. Jason Bolton said.
Huff was charged with trafficking marijuana and is being held at the Henry County Jail.
