2010 Census Population Estimates
Gwinnett County is now the fifth metro-area county with a majority-minority population.
Joining Fulton, Dekalb, Clayton and Rockdale as counties with more minority residents combined than white residents, Gwinnett's population is now 51 percent minority.
The U.S. Census Bureau released county-level data June 10 for the nation showing race, ethnicity and age, based on estimates from July 1, 2009.
In Georgia, Clayton has the highest percentage of minority residents, at 80 percent.
