Review: Why would anyone cast the magnificent Jackie Chan in a movie full of stunt doubles and special effects? Don't the people behind "The Tuxedo" know that Chan is his own stunt double, his own special effect? He gets to do a few cool things, and some of the sequences look like they were choreographed by him, but it still comes down to this: Why spoil a good thing?

Chan is still a very good thing, even when harnessed to a movie like "The Tuxedo," which is a very bad thing. A cab driver named Jimmy Tong (Chan) is hired by a suave Englishman named Clark Devlin (Jason Isaacs) to be his chauffeur. When his boss is sidelined by a car bomb, Jimmy does the one thing he was told not to do. He tries on Devlin's tux, which is actually an amazing zillion-dollar, high-tech gadget that allows Jimmy to do everything from acting like James Bond to dancing like James Brown.

The rest is chases, explosions, the usual. Jennifer Love Hewitt provides a bright spot as a spunky agent who kicks better than she squeals.
