Austin American-Statesman: 4 of 5 stars
"A welcome sense of dry humor floats through the script, particularly in the character of Jannik, making it easy for us to accept the way he is quickly integrated into the damaged family."

The Palm Beach Post: B+
"...one of the most satisfying films ever to emerge from the rigid school of Denmark's Dogme 95 movement."
