Mark and Sara were friends growing up in Michigan. When Mark's family moved to New Orleans in the early 70's, their relationship deepened with letters they wrote until Mark's mother secretly intercepted the letters, leaving each to believe the other had rejected their love. Thirty years pass before they reconnect.
