Morgan Toles
• Sandy Creek, 5 feet 8: The Patriots senior point guard, who committed to Auburn in August, is a solid scorer and floor leader. She is considered one of the top point guard prospects in the country.
“She’s a very smart player, and she’s only going to get better,” Sandy Creek coach Leslie Cooper said. “She’s a true point guard. You can have all the pieces to the puzzle, but a true point guard brings everything together.”
Khaalidah Miller
• Douglass, 5-8: Miller is one of the most dynamic guards in the state. Last season, she scored 18.8 points per game while shooting nearly 40 percent from 3-point range. The Astros junior also added 9.1 assists per game and 3.9 rebounds.
Anne Marie Armstrong
• Wesleyan, 6-2: The Wolves senior forward, who has committed to Georgia, is very versatile player. She’s a big key to Wesleyan’s last state title, scoring 19.4 points a game with 7.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists. Armstrong also had 2.2 blocks a game and shot 52 percent from the field.
“She’s surrounded by other good players,” Wesleyan coach Jan Azar said. “She could score 20-25 points a night, but she would rather win with good players than score. She distributes as well as she shoots it.”
Kyra Crosby
• McEachern, 6-1: The Indians senior forward made McEachern a legitimate threat in Region 5-AAAAA last season. She averaged 19.6 points, 10.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists a game. Crosby led Cobb County in scoring and was second in rebounds. She has committed to West Virginia.
Tamika Willis
• Westlake,, 6-2: The Lions senior center is one of the most powerful frontcourt players in the state. Willis, a Georgia commitment, could play college ball now with her size and strength. She a big reason why Westlake should make an easy transition into Class AAAAA.
