A Gingrich-Schwarzenegger alliance
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
CNN has this today, on California Gov. Arnold Scwharzenegger’s budget troubles :
.[The] governor’s senior aides recently turned to former House Speaker Newt Gingrich for input on how to enact political reforms and make the government run more efficiently, Schwarzenegger communications director Matt David tells CNN.
David said the discussion between Gingrich and Schwarzenegger chief of staff Susan Kennedy did not focus on the current deadlock over the California state budget, but rather the governor’s goal of creating a more efficient state government that could include “consolidating some agencies and getting rid of overtime and sick time abuse.”

Maybe one of the most progressive energy Govs can then teach Newt that “Drill Baby Drill” mantra does not substitute for sound energy policy. Oh, I forgot, unless you are paid loads of cash to say that.

Galloway why aren’t you reporting on the efforts of the north Fulton legislators to harm Fulton County. Here we go again with this splitting Fulton County talk. HR21 is seeking to set the stage for the split of the county. I got news for those bigots. Fulton County is NOT the problem. YOU are!
All the north Fulton cities are approaching broke and they can’t do nothing but make things worse for them. A new county would call for new jails, governement building and the like.
What’s worse is our (south Fulton) money has been used for years to build schools that resemble palaces in north Fulton. South Fulton High Schools are cookie cutter models. Johns Creek High will open with 1000-1200 students this fall. Meanwhile the first newly constructed high school in 15+ years in south Fulton will open with 1850. Seems to me the school in Johns Creek was not needed. Another school is slated for 2012. We are being used and no one cares.

To James: The reason Galloway does not report on that is because nobody cares.
