Ann Coulter on NBC’s “Today Show”

When NBC’s “Today Show” dropped the conservative that liberals most like to hate from its line-up on Wednesday, the Drudge Report marked the event as an attempted boycott of the fiery Ann Coulter and her new book.

“Today” rescheduled Coulter for this morning, and below is the resulting interview with Matt Lauer.

“I am like Roland Burris. I have been turned away, but I’m back,” Coulter said. Topics include her use of B. Hussein Obama to describe the president-elect, and single motherhood as the source of “almost any” societal ill outside of Alaska.

The clip is nine minutes long, so settle in:

This woman is so despicable; I wish some interviewer would really let her have it and not let her run the show.

Yeah, Lauer challenged her here a little, and so did Harry Smith yesterday, but they didn’t really get to the heart of the matter, prove her facts to be incorrect or flat out lies, and make her behave like a guest.

They need to either start preparing better and taking a tougher stand or stop giving her this platform that she lives for.

This woman is a pig.

I don’t appreciate Ann Coulter’s tone of voice, but she makes a lot of legitimate points.

I hope the points she is making about the bias toward liberal thought by the major news stations is not lost because of the messenger.

this woman is so unconscious, it is hard for me to believe that someone like her exist. In a time when people are asking the deeper questions. This woman is stuck in the most hateful time of American history. Giving her a voice is again evidence of what is important in America. Has she ever stop to think that if the married parents woud do their job, we wouldn’t have so many single young parents. She is so shallow, it makes me sick. Why is america giving her a voice. She should read Pat Conroy’s biography and then talk to me about the good old american family.

Ann Coulter and Mark Levin are examples of the worst in political hosts. They pander to the extreme right and actively foment further division, at a time when we need to be collaborating.

Not only do they play loose with the facts, but they regulalry resort to juvenile name calling and personal attacks.

Interestingly, they now have the liberal media on the defensive, as a ‘vast left wing media conspiracy’. The other bloggers are correct, interviewers have to be prepared to deal with her. They cannot get away with just letting her shill her book or latest revenue generating scheme.

Ann’s right, the media IS biased.

If a Liberal anorexic (wo?)man wrote dozens of books in which (s?)he just made vile lies about conservatives in one huge incoherent rant, (s?)he would never even get a PAMPHLET published, nevermind get on the TODAY show.

I LOVE Ann!

It is rather hilarious to watch libs like Lauer act all shocked (SHOCKED!) and incredulous that anyone could possibly hold a viewpoint different from thier own.

It is rather enjoyable to watch Ann spank them and take them down a few pegs!

I dispise Matt Lauer; nothing but a pure Liberal. I quit watching him years ago after I saw his uncalled for Liberalism come out on the Today Show.

I agree however that Bush should have stayed the course in Afghanastan. This Iraq thing has contributed to bringing us to our knees. He’s not a very good visionary.

This woman knows EXACTLY how to use the media. She “got to” Matt and Harry Smith and sent her message… Obama, the son of a single mother, is the cause of all that is wrong with America. Why read her book when the answer to all that is wrong with America can be spelled C-O-U-L-T-E-R! She knows zero about single motherhood and as a conservative that is pro-life…she is biting herself in the foot!

It’s funny how people refuse to listen to what she actually says because they don’t like her. Hell, I don’t like her, but a lot of her points have some validity. Matt Lauer got his panties in a wad and spent the entire interview bickering with her and taking everything she said out of context. For those too blind to notice, several academic studies have shown that virtually all media outlets are left-leaning, and this interview proved it. Also, as Coulter said, multiple studies have shown that children from single parent homes are disproportionally represented in crime statistics, poverty statistics, etc. Does this mean all kids from single parent homes are doomed? Clearly not, but for the “progressive” left to openly embrace such a problematic lifestyle is irresponsible.

Speaking of which, has anyone actually done any research on the foundations of “progressive” Democrat politics?

Is NBC trying to be the most poplar kid on the block? Do you need to have just anybody on? Coulter has plenty of outlets for her kind of “news”. She has a whole station to rant and rave on, the Fox Network. She can also go on Rush Limbaugh’s show and O’Reilly. She has nothing to say. She cited statistics for single women with children and yet had no solutions. I assume if you have no solutions you are still part of the problem.

I love that the media has noone to crucify anymore because there are no Republicans left. Libs’ views are never based on facts and they can’t shut up, yet they refuse to allow someone with a different viewpoint from exercising their freedom of speech, even when their differing views are based on facts. For libs, as long as everyone who speaks agrees with you, then you’re okay with hearing them; otherwise, they should be forbidden from the media. Ya’ll have nothing better to do anymore because Republicans are irrelevant for now (that’s right, you WON - let’s see where we end up with YOUR choices) so you rant and rave about Ann Coulter. That just means she has done her job well and got under your skin. I love it. We may be down, but with Ann and those like her, we will never be beaten.

Ann Coulter is a boob, but the bigger boob is the Exec Producer that caved in to the pressure to allow her on the Today show. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I for one think Coulter is hate filled and small minded throwing stones, but never creating solutions. Its easy to point out a problem, but more clever to solve it. Journalists are supposed to be gatekeepers, and Ann Coulter and her opinions aren’t news. Let her sell it somewhere else.

I think Matt Lauer was very rude to Ann Coulter. Can you picture him being this aggressive with the Democratic talking head Chris Matthews? No way he would be. He grilled he and didn’t even wait for her answers. He went into the interview with a chip on his shoulder about her book and he acted nasty throughout the entire interview. I happen to agree that there are too many single mothers and the welfare system encourages them to go it alone without a man. Obviously widows are not included in this category since they have no choice, but to go it alone. Boys especially need a male figure in their lives and girls learn about good relations with men from having a secure, stable male figure in their lives. These feminist women have been encouraged by the liberal media to discard men because they see them as useless.

There was no discussion of this during the interview. Matt Lauer turned it into a mud throwing contest. I agree with Ann that there is virtually no discussion of how women are encouraged to be single women via the welfare system who acts as daddy. Part of the liberal agenda has always been to weaken the role of the family and particulary of the man in the family. If they do this the family of mother and child has no choice, but to turn to the government for their very survival. Many women take advantage of they system and just keep having more and more children and could care less about having a man in their life. Others who might love to have man in their life to help with raising their children have a hard time finding one because men are encouraged to play the field today and act like children way past the time when they should have grown up. Again this childish behavior is encouraged by the liberal media that keeps putting sexual images in front of men night and day and discourages them from settling down with just one woman and his children. There should be a lot more discussion about this entire issue, but it is virtually ignored by the media.

Go Ann Coulter!!!!

Actually, I have noticed that most Republican women are ‘hot’ except when they get old in which case they look like vampire liches from hell (like Barbara Bush).

And yes, many democratic women look dumpy. But that is because they value intelligence over looks.

She sums it up perfectly- and so do the commenters- the liberals would love to shut up the conservatives- they are not about dialogue or dissent.

Matt Lauer should be congratulated for bringing her on. What was interesting is he only challenged Bill Ayers once during his interview, and let Bill Ayers give long answers without interupting him, yet Matt challenged Ann Coulter at every opportunity. His priorities are a little skewed. He came with notes for Ann, and seemed to let Bill Ayers speak freely crafting an entirley new biography for himself- one where he is legimate and he doesn’t have to take any responsiblity for his actions. Ann Coulter discusses a great social problem, and instead of probing that facts he tries to discuss “tone”. Like the tone of liberals swearing at Bush wasn’t rude and offensive. What I do appreicate is I think he has enough class to repsect her as a worthy advisary- and she was a mite confrontational- but all in all- it makes great moments on TV- and yes having Ann on makes sense- if I have to see old Abbey Hoffman clips on Television, Liberals can stand a few minutes of Ann Coulter. Welcome to a world of diversity and dissent, and best of all FREE SPEECH!

Ann Coulter represents everything that is wrong with the Christian world view. The idea that there is only one solution to every problem and that if you don’t agree, you’re an inferior person is paramount to the uber-conservative way of thinking. These attitudes promote hate and fear, and are shockingly similar to the attitudes of the world’s most violent dictators. I think Hitler and Ann would have gotten along splendidly.

Basically, this woman, who claims to be a proponent of Christian values, is actually a hate-monger. She doesn’t want peace (a Christian value), she wants submission.

By Nicole

January 7, 2009 8:04 PM | Link to this

Ann is THE BEST! Ann is not saying anything that any researcher or sociology data has shown over the years - children in a single parent home are statistically more likely to have behavioral issues and are be more violent than children who grow up with 2 parents. When Bill Cosby went across the country to universities citing this same data about the black community, folks said he had a point. Ann is not talking about race or any community. And, she is NOT hating on single mothers. Obviously, being a Christian Conservative, she wants a child brought into the world over being murdered by abortion, but what she IS saying is that single mother”hood” is so wrongly promoted by the media & Hollywood. And, that blatant promotion only encourages girls and women to think selfishly of how special they can be if they become a single mom instead of thinking about what it would be like for their child without having a father. There are unfortunate situations in which divorce or single parenting is the only option, but that is different that the blatant & disgusting way Liberals are promoting ‘go out & make/get yourself a baby - single mother-hood- who needs a man, mentality” Liberals are just too UNINTELLIGENT to get the point…probably have never taken a sociology class or researched data in their life. They don’t argue with facts - they argue with lies and avoidance. And, when people are “GUILTY”, they get defensive and lash out…sound familiar Dem-Rats? Ann is so intelligent and beautiful…those are 2 qualities virtually impossible to find in a liberal woman! - YOU, GO ANN!

I think Ann is FUNNY!!! The problem with America is people like her, always willing to point the finger, rather trying to find a solution to the problem. I do think a child should be raise in a two family home, but unfortunately that is not always the case. The last time I checked single mothers were humans, and humans are not perfect. We are entitled to make bad decisions in life, but thats OK. The REAL problem is the fact that, Americas culture is based on a ME attitude. If its not my problem or if it dont impact me then I dont care, and we wonder why so many under privilege children turn to a life of crime. NO ONE CARES!!!!!!!!

I come from a single mom home and I have been very successful in life. I have several degrees and a high paying job. All of this and I havent reached my thirties yet. How disappointing Ive actually managed to contribute positively to society, who would have though it? Oh, by the way did I mention that I am a single mom and I am black; In addition, my daughter is a well mannered straight A student. She doesnt even talk back.

WoW! These comments are depressing. Maybe because I’m now all grown up I no longer see the world in black/white, liberal/conservative views. But these commenters seem convinved that “their” side is the only correct view.

I thought much of what Ann Coulter said was insightful. But too bad she is such an ugly person in her demeanor.

And she’s a Christian? Are you sure? I thought Christians emulated Christ. I couldn’t imagine Christ behaving this way. Oh she must be one of those “I belong to a select group and you don’t” type of church. Oh well.

I am probably far more conservative than she is and find her disgusting - not what she says but her tone manner, and seeming hate for anyone not exactly like her.

It’s so funny to read the liberal responses. Ann Coulter’s book must be pretty “right-on” and threatening for the liberal media to react the way they are. Liberal media spewing that they NOW think it’s important to bring the country together! How transparent. Too bad they were so busy bashing President Bush, as they so charmingly refer our current President to as “W”, instead of pulling the country together. No, they were too busy covering every misstep and asking “powder puff” questions for B. Hussein and Biden. By the way, do some research, there are quotes from NBC execs stating Ann Coulter WAS banned on World Net Daily. Perhaps too much bad press changed their mind. Once again, back pedaling for NBC.

Fortunately, we live in a country where we have the freedom to disagree and welcome differing points of view. We encourage this and even find it entertainling. You might think that this woman lacks basic dignity and is dangerous. Or, if you take her seriously, you might think that she is stident and bold. I argue that she is simply an entertainer. She takes advantage of the freedoms we fight hard to enjoy. Ann Coulter gets air time because she is about hate and fear and tries really heard to make this point of view sensational. If you reaaly watch her and listen to her, it is clear that she is truly less interested in what is right and more interested in being interesting and controversial. With little apparent concern for making real or constructive change, she is all about creating a childish stir — at the expense of many issues and people deserving of more serious consideration. She defeats herself, and her antics reduce her point of view to irrelevant rantings. No doubt, there is room for passionate debate, but not for rabid, irrational behavior under the guise of social, political concern. (Particularly from one so well educated. What a waste of the good that could come from a fine mind.) All you can learn from her is what she hates and rejects, but not what she loves.
Interviewers like Matt Lauer would do well to ask her what she would actually do to make things better versus what she wishes to tear down. Perhaps such questions would make for much shorter interviews. I find it insulting to listen to her, and hope others would tune her out and dismiss her for the same reasons. I will spend no more time on Ann Coulter from here on.

It’s too bad that the left-coasters can’t see the truth that she tried to present. Most interviewers, i.e. Matt Lauer, try to steer the interview to suit their own view, but Ann C. is confident enough about the truth that she isn’t distracted by that. She is blunt but truthful. Go Ann!!

While I did think that Lauer needed to let her answer questions as she is clearly the interviewee, I do not appreciate Ann Coulter and her radical opinions. I am a proud Republican and she is an embarrassment and a horrible representative of the right wing views.

She completely discounts the fundamental positions of my party and gives Democrats incorrect, delusional views of what we’re all REALLY about, which for the record, does not include intolerance for fellow Americans no matter what their party may be.

It’s obvious that liberals don’t want to address the real issues that Ann is raising in her book. They did the same thing to Sarah Palin. Whenever they want to bury the issues, they make it all about personalities and do a complete character attack on the person. Why didn’t Matt Lauer ever have Joe Biden on his show and ask him some very pointed questions about lying and plagirism. We know that will never happen because Lauer and Biden are both Democrats and would never say a harsh word about each other.

I will definitely be reading Ann’s book!!!! Can’t wait to read it.

If any of the people whining about Coulter’s statements would actually READ one of her books they would find that all of her statements are backed up with references. I understand why they don’t like what she says if, but calling it lies when a little research (yes, I know it is a bit of work and it requires intelligennce which they lack) would show she can back up what she says, just shows their ignorance. I don’t agree with all of her positions, but she is rarely wrong in her facts.

I also like how some of these so called “enlightened” people want the networks to refuse to have her on….great example of free speech. They only believe in it if they agree with what you have to say.

It was posited:

If a Liberal anorexic (wo?)man wrote dozens of books in which (s?)he just made vile lies about conservatives in one huge incoherent rant, (s?)he would never even get a PAMPHLET published,

Ever hear of “Kitty Kelly?” of the 1980s Reagan tell-all? Or Micheal Moore’s “Stupid White Men” or Al (Senator) Franken’s “Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them” or … well, they’re just models of civil discourse, aren’t they?

Coulter ran rings around Harry and Matt. They came out to attack her (her book singles them out for fault and they took umbrage), and she batted them back like so many ping pong balls. Compare any TV book interview between conservatives and liberal authors. One, the liberals will be given fawning coverage, and two, they’ll be invited back to hawk their books over and over again, while the conservative may not get any interviews, let alone one, two, or five.

Lastly, “anorexic” and “adams apple?” What kind of high school taunts are these coming from the enlightened left?

When Ann Coulter stated that Hoda Kotb was putting out venom towards her, I think we have to cut her some slack. Ann was just wound up after her interview with Matt Lauer. She said she felt ‘venom’ coming from Hoda in defense to a question about why she, Ann, used such venom in her own writings. She said she didn’t understand why she was being portrayed as ‘venomous’ because she, Ann, was just telling jokes and she was feeling the venom coming from Hoda.

Maybe not such a good idea to have her on with Hoda and Kathie Lee right after her interview with Matt.

Now, Ann, I think you’d better go back to the cave and think about this. Hoda was very polite to you today, and you can’t be successful by going around creating enemies instead of making friends, now can you?

Oh, what’s that? Oh! Well I guess you can, then.

Matt Lauer’s interview with Ann Coulter highlights a BIG problem within the news media. Personally I find it offensive that media personalities, such as Matt Lauer, “pretend” to to be fairminded by featuring guests whose espoused views conflict with their own - then during the interview they exercise the VERY rude habit of alternately badgering the guest with questions/accusations, then drowning out interviewee responses by talking over them, like that will somehow muzzle the guest from putting their Point-Of-View out there. What are they afraid of? That it might actually make sense? Are they that contemptuous of the their audience that they believe us incapable of hearing controversial issues and forming our own intelligent opinions? Whether I agree or disagree with the guest is completely irrelavant to their newsmedia obligation to an impartial presentation.

I think Matt Lauer was so rude and obnoxious during this interview. Does it matter if he thinks she is right? She was given the opportunity to be on the Today show to promote her book, not be treated like crap. And what was the big deal about using Obamas middle name, that IS his middle name, you would think Coulter was just giving him that name out of pure hate the way Lauer was carrying on. Lauer is the one making it sound like a dirty word, making such a big deal of it, grow up Matt! Maybe Coulter is right, lets see what happens in the next 4 years! The only thing the interview did for me was made me realize Lauer is a d%#k, even if he didn’t agree with her, show respect! I couldn’t stand to watch this woman. But one fact remains, Matt Lauer attacked her instead of interviewing her. I think she’s just as much a crackpot as anyone else, but I do think that the Today Show has a strong liberal bias and Lauer has been under a microscope as of late just for that. He is using the Today Show to express his Democratic opinions and it certainly showed during the presidential campaign. I believe this woman has ruined any chance of a decent conservative, or Republican for that matter, on the Today Show. And I am 100% certain that is why they chose her to be on the show. They counted on her whimsical personality to make conservatives look stupid. And of course it worked. But those people that believe in the Today Show are so brainwashed by the media, they believe silly things like Israel is the enemy and Hamas is doing the right thing, which is how the Today Show portrays it. The only person on that show that has done no harm is Meredith Viera, and that’s only because she interviews unimportant stories.

Does anyone else find it odd that Coulter’s book is coming out long after the election? In previous years, she’s fired off one of her screeds just before an election in an attempt to sway it. Why not this time?

As for the content of what she says, she’s basically just a writerly version of the shock jock, so your appreciation of her will vary based on how much you enjoy that formula. She just adds the old “smear and fear” formula popular with Bush conservatives.

For me she lost her last shred of credibility when she wholeheartedly embraced that Intelligent Design nonsense.

Liberals constantly amaze me with thier simplistic views. You all throw the word “hate” around so easily, as apparently you feel that using that word immediately negates Ann, and more importantly, her point of view. She never said she Hated anyone, just that single motherhood causes problems, and that Barack Obama purposefully did not ever use his full legal name because he know it would affect the election, only now is he standing behind his full legal name. No doubt Ann Coulter is opinionated (like most liberals), and she has a concescending way of making her point, but that is not “hate”. Not by a long shot.

And for that matter, “hating” something is fine. I hate Asparagus. I hated “An Inconvenient Truth”. Ann doesn’t hate single mothers, or any particular single parent, she just hates the problems which are being ignored by society, which is fine… hate away. We all hate something.

Don’t use the word “hate” as your get-out-of-jail-free card to make up for not having a salient argument.

Here here, Adam J. Well spoken. Libs seem to be bothered by any conservative that is willing to speak out and dispel rumors that conservatives are brainless. Especially when that conservative is a (dare I say it?) WOMAN. Libs, you changed the definition of tolerance, but don’t start trying to change the definition of hate. Having and airing a different viewpoint doesn’t define hate. Those same libs that speak so much about the “hate” of the conservative right are totally “intolerant” to everyone else’s view that doesn’t match theirs. Get a clue, everyone has opinions. I don’t know much about Ann Coulter, but I admire her courage to speak out. This country has become so polarized that it has lost respect for other’s opinions, properties, and physical space. I don’t think it is healthy politically and socially. I do agree with her on the issue of media: journalism has lost its integrity. All journalists have become columnists. They don’t report on facts anymore, all they talk about is what they think or feel about an issue. I miss the good old days when a reporter is truely a reporter.

By jody

January 8, 2009 5:33 PM | Link to this

I’m not really sure what the problem is here. Do people truly aspire to be single parents? Since when is it politcally incorrect to say that we should aspire for more? Is it a lie that many problems stem from this?

I personally admire anyone who can be a single parent and do it well. I don’t know many that have done it on purpose. Some, perhaps, end up in that situation out of ignorance (sex out of wedlock without protection). Some are widowed and some are divorced. The latter examples are probably not what we are talking about. Can we not teach our kids that it isn’t right to get knocked up at sixteen, again at eighteen and have three kids by the time they are 21 with three different dads? Does anyone else see where that might cause some problems? Even if I WERE a single parent, I would make it a priority to teach my kids what to do to NOT let that happen to them. Isn’t that all she is talking about? Wouldn’t a single parent agree?

As for the middle name comments… is that NOT his middle name? Did anyone else hear her analogy of having a president elect in the 40s that had the middle name of ‘Hitler’ and how that might have been perceived? Where are the lies she is spewing?

I think liberals are so concerned with being ‘right’ they have lost their common sense.

Lauer and Harry Smith were stammering and sweating and talking loudly over Ann as a final defense, but they are no match for a brilliant conservative who deals in facts and exposes huge problems in our society the media wants to keep hiding. Why do we have have Libs guarding the door at every major network and newspaper, deciding who America should hear from and who should be banned? It’s worse that various comments here and on many other sites shout out support of this person, who is, easily, the most disingenuous, self serving, truth denouncing, self promoting mutation of American capitalism. She’s riding the wave of non-thinking, brain dead “conservatives” who rose in the last few years. She has no honest footnote to her imaginative and self gratifying gibberish, yet so many not only claim she does, but claims the other side does not (when anyone can look up the facts). Coulter “deals in facts” in that she usually takes them out of context and uses them to smear others, quite often (but admittedly not always) those with a lot less access to the media than she as. When confronted with her abuses she cops out by either changing the topic (the classic politicians’ trick) or citing the fact that she’s just just writing/speaking as a humorist. Micheal Moore does the same thing, and it’s just as much a cop out when he does it.

If you want to rail against “mainstream media”, I don’t see how you can make the case that Coulter is not a solid part of that institution. Her books are published by mainstream publishers and promoted on major talk shows and in newspapers better than most. They’re on the best seller lists and available in most every book store in the nation.

If she weighed about 80 more pounds, had brown hair, and a perm she would be irrelevant as the rest of the circus side shows we faithful watch to tell us how we should be thinking of the world. But you throw some makeup on, comb your hair, don a dress, and look moderatley attractive and somehow you turn into the savior of the Republican party. Sex sells gents and I can’t help but laugh everytime some neo-con bimbo struts her stuff and all the boys swoon.

Believe me Coulter’s Views do not reflect a “Narrow” audience. It kills the Dims that nobody wants to join their Club. They always attack the Cons using Money as the motive. None of you Snobby Liberal Sheep had a Problem with Wiliam Ayers or Michal Moore.

Why ? because you are snobby, elitist, hypocritcal, cowards.

History Supports it.

In the words of Martha Stewart ( Bastion of Liberal Compassion) “Suck It In”.

I like Ann but she’s looking a bit too svelte. I’m conservative and am not a fan of Bush, but the dumbest person in the government by far is Harry Reid.

This woman is NOT despicable, she is telling the truth. Her statistics are true. You just don’t want to hear it. Let her talk. This is America, everyone is entitled to their opinion and guess what? Even opinions you don’t agree with!

Don’t you guys realize that it’s all an act. She is famous and well known simply because of all that she says and writes. The more despicable she is the more money she gets. Stop paying attention and ignore and she’ll go away.

Our country is suffering right now and Ann Coulter is not constructive but rather destructive with her opinions. Her hate is based on her opinion, for every piece of evidence she can give to support any argument she makes, there is evidence to show that she is wrong. Anyone who supports her needs to ask him/herself, why? There are plenty of conservative voices that don’t have the hate in their speech that she does (e.g. Tucker Carlson and Ed Rollins).

Don’t have her on and give her the time for anyone to buy into her venom. She does all of this for the attention and money. Any show that books her and allows her to promote another book, she’s leaves and is laughing all the way to the bank. Don’t buy into her propaganda.

Ann could careless about republicans / conservatives…like Rush she is cashing those checks while corporate American gets bailed out and its citizens brace for more. You republicans / conservatives think this chick speaks for you? Come on, she is taking your money…the more crazy BS she talks the more books you buy…when it’s all said and done, her rants and books do nothing to change policy, to push your ideas forward, to energized a new generations of young conservatives to take up the fight. Nope, the only results are her bank account gets fatter and you lose focus. Dont worry about Wall Street and the bailouts, put your focus on single mothers cause that the real threatthat the source of all our problems. You see, all the CEO and executive at the financial houses that collapsed were raised by single mother right? Oh, and all the Executive at the American automobile manufactures were also raised by single mothers. So, go out and buy Anns book, Im sure her bank account could use a bit of plumping up and forget about the rich corporate executive and the bailouts. Now, place all your energy on single mothers, while youre not looking the corporate executive will spend the bailout money, teeter on total collapse and go to Washington and ask for more money, but dont you worry your pretty-little-head about it all that, youll be busy with that single mother thing. Ann is a smart woman, because she is playing all of you and getting rich.

She gets on my nerves a little….don’t like her style. BUT….as long as we have to listen to the sanctimonious, self-righteous drivel from the likes of Chris Matthews, Keith Olberman, James Carville and Bill Maher, Ann Coulter’s presence in the public arena is a ABSOLUTE necessity….and she’s got more balls than any of those clowns anyway

I am surprised that nearly every post is based on the assumption that Ann actually believes what she purports as the truth. Look, I don’t like how Ann acts or what she says but she is a smart woman(law degree) and she knows how to tap into people emotions. She is trying to sell her book and she does an excellent job of pandering to right wing fanatics at the expense of liberals.
Ann makes money by selling books, not for telling the truth.

If your a conservative who has strong views like hers, you will love and worship her. I definately think shes misguided in triyng to talk about single motherhood and is not realy getting at the heart of what the problem is with it, which are a number of factors. She also is a media hog who needs to grow up and not make a huge deal about what day shes being interviewed or not.

I can’t stand this woman! I know she helps the ratings but I think every time I see her my health is at risk. I was hoping that someone would have gotten rid of her by now but I guess we must all continue to suffer. Would someone please give this woman a steak, it looks like she hasn’t eaten for years. She is SO into herself and to look at her I feel sorry for her. She is not attractive, inside nor out and has nothing but hate coming from her mouth. Everything out of her mouth is hateful and absurd. She may be educated and able to write but she does not write anything of substance…..nothing positive unless it serves her own agenda…MONEY! She is in this for the quick buck. Whatever sells right Ann? I hope you can sleep with yourself at night. I am one of those single mother’s you spoke of on the Today show thanks to the attacker’s of 9/11. I lost my husband that day and was put in the single mom status. Are you going to tell me that my child will be one of those you spoke of on the show? Do us all a favor and go far away!

Ann Coulter is one of the most despicable people I know. She and Rush Limbaugh are twins! If, as Ann once said, she is a Christian, please God, don’t let me be there…until she is thrown out! Ah, silly me, who would think God would want her in his presence. Repent, Ann!!!
