DEL.ICIO.USGOP groups say Martin’s soft on crime; the Democrat tells of a kidnapping

Freedom’s Watch, a 527 group, and the Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee, have started after Democrat Jim Martin on the issue of crime.
With 10 days left before his runoff with Republican incumbent Saxby Chambliss, Martin responded this morning with a 30-second ad — and the personal story of his 8-year-old daughter’s 1980 kidnapping.
He’s told the story before. It was part of his response in 2006, during the Democratic primary for lieutenant governor, when opponents accused him of being soft on crime.
“You never forget the horror of coming face-to-face with violent crime,” Martin says in the current ad. “That’s why I fought so hard to crack down on violent crime and lock up violent criminals.”

The RSCC continues to peddle an accusation that Martin voted against making child solicitation a felony as a state lawmaker, but the accusation doesn’t hold water. Read here for the details.

The last sentence should read, “but the accusation doesn’t hold water, according to the liberal hacks that blog on Urinal Constipation Political Insider. In fact Martin has proven to be soft on crime. You guys act like he has actually done something other than raise taxes and vote him self raises every time he gets a chance. You guys are so far in the tank for Martin that this entire yellow rag is now a national embarrassment and losing its own circulation. I think you guys are the BSNBC of the dying newspaper business. Don’t let Saxby Chambliss make a chump out of you by tricking you into voting against your own best interest. Saxby chambliss is NOT! on your side. He’s not one of you. He is on George Bush’s side. And we all know what a catastrophe the Bush Chambliss administration has been the past 8 years.
Contact all your family and friends and do every thing you can to see to it that JIM MARTIN and GEORGIANS! take that senate seat back for Georgia, and America. No matter where you live in America. This is important to you. President Obama will need all the help, and power you can give him to try and fix this catastrophic mess that the Corrupt Bush Chambliss administration has created.
As I said before you will have to vote in overwhelming numbers to overcome the Bush Chambliss “Let Them Eat Cake” vote fraud machine. Vote early if you can.
