At least four new TV ads are out in the U.S. Senate race, all from outside groups.
Over the weekend, we told you about the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee ad that attacks Republican incumbent Saxby Chambliss for supporting the $700 billion Wall Street bailout.
Still no video available on that one — just the script.
But the Washington organization’s Republican counterpart has answered, with a brutal ad accusing Democrat Jim Martin of missing a chance to make child solicitation a felony — 20 years ago.
The YouTube posting was snagged by PeachPundit. Haven’t seen it on TV yet.
Here’s a line from the script:
If someone solicits a child for prostitution, shouldn’t it be a felony? Jim Martin doesn’t think so. Martin voted against tougher penalties for people who prey on children.
Meanwhile, the Patriot Majority, a Democratic group, has the ad below, was posted on YouTube within the last hour. It accuses Chambliss of supporting economic policies that led to the current crisis.
Says the ad:
“It doesn’t help when Saxby Chambliss votes to deregulate Wall Street, and we’re stuck with a bill for $700 billion and an economic meltown.”
And VoteVets.org, another Democratic group, today joins the contest, accusing Chambliss of voting against appropriations for “proper” body armor:

I have made up this Churchill dude. I have multiple personalities and I am confused about half of the day. I know that I will be voting for Obama and Martin on Democrat voting day, Wednesday Nov. 5th. I will not let the “the man” steal my vote on Tuesday, the Repuke voting day. Be smart, like me, and vote for Hope, Change, Obama and Martin on Wednesday, Nov. 5th. YES WE CAN. Martin can too.

I will not be voting for Saxby this time. He is TOO close to Lobbyist & the liberal Democrats. He personally got the Republican votes that let Pelosi,Reid, Kerry, Kennedy & Boxer over ride President Bushs veto of waste & unnecessary waste 3 times. 6 years ago Saxby promised the small farmers of Georgia help with the farm bill, I voted for him. He went to Washington became the head of the Ag committee, wrote the farm bill & took care of the Sugar farmers in Florida and the Corn farmers in the Midwest. The little farmers got the shaft & the big money got more money.Chambliss is just another crook we sent to Washington. I will be voting McCain & Martin.

Jim Martin is a vet, Saxby Chambliss dodged the draft with a lame excuse. Chambliss voted to cut spending on VA Hospitals. As one who has served his country , Martin has my vote.

For the last 5 years I have been writing Saxby Chambliss to get out of the Lobbyist back pocket but he has only gotten worse as time goes on, Chambliss has been is Washington for 14 years & has drank too much of the Kool aid up there. A vote for Buckley is a vote for Martin. Why would any good Georgian want to bring San Francisco Pelosi/Reid values to GA? Martin is no different than the lefties that fun congress right now. Plus, he looks like an efette snob in those wimpy glasses of his.

I hate the fact that if this thing goes to run off that Saxby will win. The blacks will not be out in force like they will for Obama on election day. Martin’s only chance to increase the lib majority is to win it on election day. We do not have the turn out for an off day election. Rats!!
