In U.S. Senate race, Martin outraises Chambliss in 3rd quarter

The financial/political situation in Georgia’s U.S. Senate race boils down to this:

Would you rather be the Democrat with $92,339 in cash on hand, at the crest of a Barack Obama-driven wave, or the Republican incumbent, with $1.2 million left in the bank and dependent on enthusiasm for John McCain?

Both Jim Martin and Saxby Chambliss have released the top lines — i.e., not lists of individual contributors — from their Sept. 30 campaign disclosure reports.

The big news is that Martin actually outraised Chambliss, who had been a money machine, in the third quarter. Martin raised $1.3 million. Chambliss raised $1.13 million.

Now we know what Martin was doing when he disappeared after the Democratic run-off in August.

I support the FairTax and can no longer support Jim Martin. Not only does he oppose the FairTax, he lies about it, and about Saxby Chambliss.

This is disgraceful. Jim, you ought to be ashamed of yourself.

saxby is no better than martin, they both can’t be trusted with our tax money. I’m voting for the independent, whoever he or she is…

Those fearsome sums pale in comparison to to the record breaking $17.43 raised by the Libertarians last week. In a fit of pique, we decided to send US$12.00 to George Hussien Obama (Barak’s brother in Kenya) so he could maintain his opulent lifestyle for another 12 months whilst waiting for some money love from brother Barry-O.

Obviously you all are Republicans! Martin is and will always be a better choice than Chambliss who has run this country into the ground with BUSH and the rest of the Republican CRONIES. The fact that Martin outraised him without having a machine behind him speaks volume. As for the Fair Tax, it is not only stupid but also unfair to the regular Joe who can not afford to have everything taxed at 23%.

All 3 candidates were supposed to appear on our local radio show and take questions from callers. Saxby didn’t want to face tough questions so he called in 20 minutes late. It didn’t leave any time for many questions. The host refused to ask him about his son’s lobbying actions and the entire segment boiled down to Saxby telling us that “the aveage voter didn’t understand the bailout bill” and that there was “no pork in the bill.”

Churchill has stole my name again, obviously anyone who knows anything will NOT vote for Saxby Special Interest because he is a big spending, big government pro amnesty LIBERAL. Saxby is owned by LOBBYIST & his son Bo is a LOBBYIST.

Where Saxby Chambliss (Socialist/RINO,Ga.)gets his money::

Agri Business—$1,368,000 Banks, Insurance, Real Estate—$1,332,000 Lawyers & Individual Lobbyist—$641,000 Misc Business —$679,000 Other —$606,000..

The Agi Business got a gift of $20 billion waste from the Saxby Farm Bill. The Banks, Real Estate & Lawyers just got a $2 TRILLION gift from the Bail Out the Wall Street act which Saxby voted for. Not a bad return on your money.

FIRE SAXBY NOW, FIRE SAXBY HERE, PAY LESS

I am sorry my son Winston has been stealing names here. See we don’t know who his father is but think he was a member of the UGA baseball team. When 1 of his Clayton county school chums told him that Saxby had 4f’d the draft but had still be able to play baseball for UGA. Little Winston decided that Saxby was his father. I have told him that I have never been that hard up but little Winston is not the sharpest tool around. Again I am so sorry but it’s hard to control at 9th grader when he is nearly 21.

I wish ya’ll would calm down. The Secretary of State’s office will fix everything.

Karen has assured me that I’ll have my victory and when she runs for higher office, I’ll make sure that the same Wall St. firms that helped fund my campaign will donate generously to her’s.

That’s how politics works. Everyone who matters, wins.

I guess Saxby’s employing the same Karl Rove types to do the kind of TV ads against Jim Martin like he did against Max Cleland. Do you all remember that ad? Juxtaposing a picture of Max Cleland with Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussien, suggesting Max was a traitor and a terrorist sympathizer. Chambliss has got some nerve calling anyone eklse a coward or traitor considering how he did everything he could to stay out of the draft during the Vietnam War because he supposedly had “bad knees.” It seems to me that what he really had was a bad case of a yellow streak running down his back….just like the Rush Limbaughs. Sean “Vanitys,” the Dick Cheneys and other like-minded, so-called conservatives who talk loudly, but carry no stick. Saxby’s nothing but a “chicken hawk.”

I believe Jim Martin is a whole lot better than Saxby. What has Saxby ever done in this state but represent the big business interests? I am proud that Jim served this great country during Vietnam War, Saxby didn’t. We need a change and Jim Martin is the man for change we need.

Jim Martin is the better candidate. He serve in the military during the Vietnam War. He is in favor of the middle class and creating jobs in Georgia. We have had enough of do nothing Saxby. We need to give jim martin a chance.
