McCain says tonight’s debate is on; Huckabee calls his dithering a ‘huge mistake’
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
This just in from the Republican presidential campaign of John McCain:
“The McCain campaign is resuming all activities and the Senator will travel to the debate this afternoon. Following the debate, he will return to Washington to ensure that all voices and interests are represented in the final agreement, especially those of taxpayers and homeowners.”

CNN has just posted an item in which Republican Mike Huckabee, who won Georgia’s presidential primary, called McCain made a “huge mistake” by raising the possibility that he wouldn’t show up.
“You can’t just say, ‘World stop for a moment. I’m going to cancel everything,” Huckabee told the Associated Press.

Now hopefully the Great Obamessiah will be shown for the empty suit that he is. We’ll see how “inspiring” he is without his quarter million dollar video prompter system.

“You can’t just say, World stop for a moment. I’m going to cancel everything” Sure you can! Mr. Huckabee did that very thing the night he finally figured out that he would no longer be running for President of these United States!

Watch closely tonight, Robby, and you’ll see why McCain’s campaign staff doesn’t let him speak in public without a TelePrompter or a prepared speech.

McCain,”The Maverick”, has acted erratically from the time he reached way out in left field and chose Sara Palin for his VP. This was a disrespectful choice given her limited world view and experience and the real possibility that should could be called on to sit in the Big Seat.
Someone said the look like Regis and Kathy Lee.
I would say they look like Hopalong Cassidy and Annie Oakley.
McCain is a hero and patriot; but he comes across as an angry old man who is trying to pull a victory out of a magician’s hat.

The law abiding, tax paying American citizen aka middle class should hold off making their 10/1 mortgage payment to give them time to review the bailout plan.
Apparently it is our mortgage money financing this economy. Hold those payments!
