Libertarian idol Ron Paul endorses someone who’s not Bob Barr

Mark down Tuesday as a tough day for Libertarian presidential candidate Bob Barr.

First, the Texas Supreme Court refused to play along with Barr’s contention that neither Barack Obama nor John McCain deserved a spot on that state’s ballot.

Then, this afternoon, Barr found out exactly how badly he ticked off Ron Paul when the former Georgia congressman boycotted a kumbaya-minded press conference in Washington, called by the former Republican presidential candidate, that featured other third-party candidates.

Today, on his blog, Paul — whose devoted followers have been seen as a force that could be transferred to Barr in November — endorsed another candidate: Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party.

Wrote Paul, with a great deal of acid:

The Libertarian Party Candidate admonished me for “remaining neutral” in the presidential race and not stating whom I will vote for in November.

It’s true; I have done exactly that due to my respect and friendship and support from both the Constitution and Libertarian Party members. I remain a lifetime member of the Libertarian Party and I’m a ten-term Republican Congressman.

It is not against the law to participate in more then one political party. Chuck Baldwin has been a friend and was an active supporter in the presidential campaign….

I’ve thought about the unsolicited advice from the Libertarian Party candidate, and he has convinced me to reject my neutral stance in the November election. I’m supporting Chuck Baldwin, the Constitution Party candidate.

Some of you are asking why all this fuss about a third-party presidential bid. Who cares? you ask.

Barack Obama cares.

The Insider had occasion to talk to one of his supporters today about the Democratic presidential candidate’s diminished — at least for the moment — prospects in Georgia.

When the Obama campaign went into Georgia this spring, three ingredients were eyed, this supporter reminded the Insider: Money, volunteers and Barr.

Obama found cash enough in Georgia. Volunteers were no problem. But what’s been missing is a Barr campaign capable of wheedling from Republican John McCain enough votes of protest to put the state in play.

That was never in Obama’s control. In large part, Barr’s fate has been in Paul’s hands.

In Georgia and elsewhere, the economy could yet give Obama an edge that Barr hasn’t been able to. But it would be a much easier road for Obama were Barr the candidate that Paul might have made him.

The only question we should ask ourselves when voting is who will best defend the constitution… Let’s not bicker about things that divide us. We all probably agree we are going the wrong way. We have to get back to our roots and defend liberty at home. Any of the 3rd or 4th party candidates accomplish that light years ahead of the “2” anti american candidates… Lets talk about moving that forward and not fighting with each other… Goto Baldwins site and read about his views. Don’t take sound bites and biased article (not this one) to form your opinion.

Just when you thought he was gone, Ru Paul shows up and encourages his kooks to vote for someone with even less of a chance than he had. Perfect. Now that Ru has finished opening his wrinkled mug can we can go back to ignoring him now?

Don’t underestimate the number of (to use the terminology of John McCain’s own mother) “hold your nose and vote” Republicans that Ron Paul has just delivered to the Constitution Party. Barack Obama may yet get the last laugh.

The People of Georgia are great Americans and Metro Atlanta, the wheelhorse of the Nation, is half of our state’s population and the cultural leader of the post-GOP/closet-queen political control of America.

After Failin’ Palin shows out to be a complete nutcase…with the same “religious” sensibilities as Adolph Hitler concerning a woman’s sovereignty over her own G-d given body…and her serial lies, hypocrisy and failure as a mother is fully developed, the patriots with a tinge of racism leaned long ago will just stay home and Obama will carry the state because we all know McCain is corrupt, by his life, and possesses poor judgment by his choice should the cancer that’s been growing under his face take him.

He would leave such as Sarah Palin as America’s Chief Steward?

Obama was make America look good again…as if the “deck” of opportunity here is truly consistent with the American Dream and the deal is strictly legitimate.

Biden is a good American. In keeping with the ideals of the Founders he keep his religion to himself in our New Secular Order.

America has a Covenant and a Creed. Obama and Biden respect that and will serve to help rectify the advances made against Our Constitution and People under the Bush insanity.

We know, Sir Winston, that Ron Paul had no chance, just as surely as we know why — because most people who call themselves Americans don’t give a damn about the American Constitution, and are perfectly content to look the other way as political scoundrels shred it.

What’s not clear is why any rational or ethical person would regard that sorry state of affairs as an occassion to crow.

It’s a free country, Churchill. So, please feel free to continue ignoring the world around you. After all, that’s precisely what the Republican party is doing with its constituency — ignoring them. Even worse, they have sold themselves out to their corporate masters if they agree with the bailout of the failed financial companies.

Ron Paul is an idiot. His supporters are even worse. Why would anyone listen to him? Ron Paul was soundly rejected by the American people. Supporters of his should work harder on a grass roots campaign. I love the fact that Ron Paul did not even make enough waves to garner an “honorable mention” at the Republican convention. What a joke!!!!!

The Republican party is a joke. They have all but abandoned their most core principles. This economic crisis is a defining moment for the Republican party. Are they for a free market or are they for corporate welfare at the taxpayer’s expense. Will they give the taxpayer a break or will they saddle the taxpayer with the bill for the failed financial companies and their executive’s golden parachutes and outlandish, lavish bonuses and stock options and perks. What will it be — us or them.

Ron Paul is looking smarter every day. At least to people who have at least some idea about economics. Also, I’m sure not all of Ron Paul’s people will go with Chuck Baldwin because there are some stances by that party that ties politics to religion.

Lastly, when the current form of US government and dollar fall apart, I hope some journalists ask Ron Paul what happened, as he is one of few around that can tell them, and one of few who has been telling them for many years. Hopefully we will have a few more years to prepare, but who knows?

Yeah, Ron Paul sure is a kook alright…

Ron Paul wants the Federal Govt to follow the Constitution, he ( and his supporters) advocate balanced budgets, a strong National Defense, a sound monetary policy. He is a pro-life OB/GYN, who believes the federal Govt. has no business to be involved with abortion, and it should be left up to the states (remember states rights?). Dr. Paul wants a strong dollar, he’s opposed to the Federal Reserve (which causes inflation by printing money out of thin air to finance Big Government Programs).

Ron Paul believes that people should run their own lives, and keep what they earn. He believes you can make decisions for yourself much better than Hillary, or Barney Frank, or Obama, or Bush or McCain, or any of the of the other w******* in DC can.

He wants to abolish the IRS and income tax replace it with NOTHING. Liberty and freedom work.

Sir Winston, perhaps you need to read the US Constitution. You may learn a thing or two about how this country is supposed to be run. It’s a far cry from the nonsense we have now in DC.

The media ignored Ron Paul during the campaign, and now that we are heading toward a Depression, the media is all over him, asking his advice. He gets more airtime now that when he was running for President.

Ron Paul is a genius.

Sir Winston,

You do realize that this country was founded by free-thinking Libertarians, correct? You do realize that these founders wrote the constitution, correct? You do realize that the constitution lead to the most successful country and government ever assembled, correct?

People make the argument that the constitution is old and out-of-date, but that’s false. We were founded as a constitutional Republic, which is one of the freshest forms of Government on the planet and, like I stated prefiously, the most successful. What is old and out-of-date, is giving power to an elite few—which is exactly what’s happening in modern-day America. We’ve become a Democracy, which eventually faded into Fascism and soft tyranny.

I wish I didn’t have to call you a fool, but you are, well, a fool. You’re foolish to dismiss people who value the constitution and Civil Liberties as “kooks”. You’re a fool to call people who pay attention to monetary policy, foreign policy and economics “kooks”. You’re a fool for dismissing those of us who support the ideals which made this country so great, as “kooks”.

You’re brainwashed by mainstream, failed politicians; you know, the same pawns who got us into the hole we’re trying so desperately to climb out of. Read the constitution, study Austrian Theory of government. Do a little research on blow-back. It would serve you well.

More specifically, America was founded by Whigs.

No sense mincing words to protect the fascist caesaropapist, anti-libertarian culture, from which we escaped, whose foreign cohesion, intrigues, assassinations, bribery and Babylonian priesthood has managed to usurp the Republic and, through its Fifth Column, gain power over the once sovereign People of America - by the Founders’ lights, the New Israel.

“Whig” is from “Whiggamore”: a word which described the Presbyterian Scots who believed it wrong to serve under a papist monarch…just as Zealots were Jews who believed it wrong to serve under a non-Jew in ancient Israel. Should any wish to differ, the writings of Jefferson, Paine, and Adams confirm the term’s currency in their consciousness.

The rebellion against Roman occupation chronicled in the Dead Sea Scrolls, resulting in the slaughter of “one million and one hundred thousand Jews, in A.D.70 Jerusalem by noble Roman soldiers as proof of the divine judgment against those who murdered our god,” was Our Whig Founders’ American Revolution against monarchy and popery.

The preceding paraphrased quote is from the catechism, De Harbe’s, used by Adolph Hitler and his generation, as a reading primer, taught by Roman Catholic priests.

Rome crucified tens of thousands of “Jesuses.” Lenny Bruce had a little gold electric chair on a chain around his neck: a modern “crucifix,” the symbol of Rome’s cult of death. It was the sole and unique punishment for those convicted of one single act under codified Roman law: the second conviction for Sedition. Crucifixion was only meted out by Rome as punishment for the second conviction for sedition. Mr. Jefferson, America’s Founder, was fluent in Latin, Greek and Hebrew and cited the pertinent Roman law code in a letter to his nephew Peter Carr.

It was Sedition to deny that Caesar Pontifex Maximus was god. Sound familiar, all you nutcases, like Hitler, who agree with Miss Icebox? Conviction of the first offense was punished with a specific number of lashes with a whip of cords…used to bind the “f*,” or Fasces, together as each Roman magistrate went from court to court on his circuit accompanied by his “lectors” - clerks, bodyguards and executioners.

For this reason we know that by the end of the Civil War here, ignorance over time was exacerbated by the predominance of Roman Catholics as generals(Sherman) and “cannon fodder” in the Union Army who, returning victorious after crushing the Jew-loving Jeffersonian South, affixed a pair of Fasces - the official symbol of the authority of Rome(author of anti-Semitism. Viz.”A Moral Reckoning,” Goldhagen)…that which Our Whig Founder recognized as “the real Anti-Christ,” the Wall Street of slavery for two thousand years… to the front wall of the U.S. House of Representatives: symbolizing the direct opposite of the Whig ideals bequeathed to all Americans in 1776 and by Our Creed - the Mottoes on the Great Seal.

Those who call The Founders “libertarian” are hiding the truth. They were Whigs, and any who would be a true American today must also be Whig, for “bi-partisan” fascist plutocracy now treasonously rules.

The battle line is drawn. Those “Americans” who say they do not see it are merely wishing away their own need to fight…and shall become slaves or slavemasters…never sovereign and free American.

The People must re-earn the sovereignty won in the War of American Independence.

“They,” agents of the Roman Anti-Christ, know what they are doing. An opponent more organized is almost always the winner. We, however, have Divine Providence on our side, if we will only seeks Its help.

Watch the lies and our sovereignty go out: North American Union, legitimization of illegal Hispanic and Eastern European Roman Catholic immigration, Wall Street Bailout, Sarah Palin for VP, “Married to the Mob” McCain for President, Bush family pal OBL did 9/11, Saddam helped commit 9/11 and possessed WMD and a delivery system intending to attack us. Jeff Gannon was a legitimate news reporter at the White House and didn’t sign into the social entrance logbook maintained by the Secret Service, for many “overnights,” as $200 an hour homosexual prostitute James Guckert, “topping” Vietnam draft-dodger and known Bonesman, with its homosexual initiation rituals, Victor Ashe’s roomie, George Bush.

The Truth, elucidated by Our Prophet and Author Thomas Jefferson, is available to all who would be American. His Whig Revolution “ignited a volcano under the thrones of Europe”: “the Light from the West,” and spurred the drive for freedom from Rome’s oppression and pedophile priesthood, from “tsar and pope,” and from the Ancien Regime, from Moscow, Hanoi and Havana to Caracas. It is agents of Rome who cry “Communism” as their papal bull “Divini Redemptoris” did in 1937 to trigger Kristallnacht and the Holocaust. “They” know what they are doing.

Those who object to Whig interpretation of history, like Roman Catholic Herbert Butterfield, are only “running interference” for Satan and his “engine for enslaving mankind.”

Discover or re-discover what it took to create America. Recognize the philistines among us telling us Lee Harvey Oswald killed John Kennedy, rather than the Knights of Malta-led Roman Catholic CIA(as a Federal District Court Jury said) and tons of steels ejected hundreds of feet from the WTC towers was due to an entropic collapse of the first skyscrapers in history to ever fall “due to fire.”

The Roman Catholics on the Supreme Court committed treason when they appointed Hitler’s banker’s homosexual draft-dodging grandson as president. Read Breyer’s dissent, for posterity’s sake.

Treason shall not prosper and a people remain free.

Righteousness exalteth a nation and blood must flow. This is not an academic situation when the false-elite’s necessary goal is to starve the freemen and women that they not be a threat to the “elite.” 4,200 of us are dead for heroin and oil in Iraq. 3,000 of us were killed on 9/11. The Anti-Christ isn’t “playing.”

Think the financial and energy “crises” were unavoidable? Read economists Ricardo and Pareto. Elite universities teach the children of the elite and those who would join them techniques for subduing peoples through false war, inflation and taxation that they might find work as technocrats “to keep the ball rolling.”

Fascism is easy to identify. Look at its draft-dodger messengers: Rush Limbaugh - homosexual pederast: “The Roman Catholic Church is the rock-ribbed backbone of American moral value.”; Bill O’Reilly - proven pervert. Run down the list of Roman Catholics…Ann Coulter, G. Gordon Liddy, Roger Ailes, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham…they know what they are doing and whom they serve: Rome’s Fifth Column.

Those who object to the truth shared here, like Sarah Palin and Hitler…and the pope…want to force girls raped by their fathers to bring any pregnancy to term…and charge them money for a “rape kit,” used to prove the crime was committed.

G-d is not mocked. Choose your side in this battle for America.

Death for Treason.

So, the Republicans that claim to believe in the free market have made a stand. In fact they stood up to their VP, Cheney, and said NO, we won’t go along with this proposal. Now, that is a bold move on the part of these particular Republicans. They stand in defiance of their party leaders in order to uphold a core party principle — let free market capitalism work. Apparently, they know something that their party leaders don’t know. Apparently, they know that the situation is not as dire as Bush, Cheney, Paulson, Bernanke, executives at major financial institutions, and other idiots worldwide would have us believe. The endorsement of Baldwin might help Obama in Georgia just as much as an endorsement of Barr would have, either way Republican voters are being urged to vote for a conservative who is not McCain. The Constitution Party’s claim of effectively being the Jesus Christ party will likely help it attact evangelical/fundamentalist Christian voters from McCain, thus helping Obama win Georgia. At the same time, Barr through his own efforts win gain a significant number of votes for a third-party candidate.

Second, Paul is not a libertarian…he may be popular among Libertarians, he may be a life time member, but he is a Republican congressman…NOT a Libertarian. Last, Paul’s endorsement of the Constitution Party candidate shows how far he has strayed from the cause of Liberty…Baldwin is nothing more than a Theocrat…the figurehead for the new moral right…Religion first, everything else last.

The Texas Supreme Court was not asked to “play along” with a “contention.” They were asked to make a legal ruling based on clear evidence that the D’s and R’s were allowed onto the Texas ballot under circumstances in which a third party would (and regularly is) denied access.

Please learn something about the ballot access issue before you try again to comment.

Sir Winston, You may also want a quick primer on The Philosophy of Liberty

…but why reinvent “the wheel?”

America’s Whig Founders laid out the Principles and Practice of Liberty in their writings and America’s foundational documents.

Thomas Jefferson, acknowledged by John Adams, his only real competition for the honor, was the Founder, Author, and Prophet (proven by the prescience of his written thoughts) from whom each would-be philosopher of liberty and American can learn the Truth.

Only the fearful and those complicit with treason turn a blind eye to the “few” who have been attacking Our Sovereignty since Meriwether Lewis was assassinated on the Natchez Trace.

Any American who would be a patriot must answer the call to battle against that which is patently obvious: Anti-Christ/Amalek is within the gates of Our City on the Hill and must be extirpated.

Will Jones,

FYI “The Philosophy of Liberty” is from the ISIL’s web site (International Society for Individual Liberty)

A delightful introduction to the ideas of liberty currently translated into MORE THAN 20 different languages. This simple yet attractive and intelligent introduction to libertarian ideas, was created by ISIL Director Ken Schoolland (derived from the epilogue to Ken’s free market fable The Adventures of Jonathan Gullible) and the late Kerry Pearson (original creator of the flash adaptation).

Ron Paul’s latest message about the bailout -

Dear Friends,

Whenever a Great Bipartisan Consensus is announced, and a compliant media assures everyone that the wondrous actions of our wise leaders are being taken for our own good, you can know with absolute certainty that disaster is about to strike.

The events of the past week are no exception.

The bailout package that is about to be rammed down Congress’ throat is not just economically foolish. It is downright sinister. It makes a mockery of our Constitution, which our leaders should never again bother pretending is still in effect. It promises the American people a never-ending nightmare of ever-greater debt liabilities they will have to shoulder. Two weeks ago, financial analyst Jim Rogers said the bailout of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac made America more communist than China! “This is welfare for the rich,” he said. “This is socialism for the rich. It’s bailing out the financiers, the banks, the Wall Streeters.”

That describes the current bailout package to a T. And we’re being told it’s unavoidable.

The claim that the market caused all this is so staggeringly foolish that only politicians and the media could pretend to believe it. But that has become the conventional wisdom, with the desired result that those responsible for the credit bubble and its predictable consequences - predictable, that is, to those who understand sound, Austrian economics - are being let off the hook. The Federal Reserve System is actually positioning itself as the savior, rather than the culprit, in this mess!

• The Treasury Secretary is authorized to purchase up to $700 billion in mortgage-related assets at any one time. That means $700 billion is only the very beginning of what will hit us.

• Financial institutions are “designated as financial agents of the Government.” This is the New Deal to end all New Deals.

• Then there’s this: “Decisions by the Secretary pursuant to the authority of this Act are non-reviewable and committed to agency discretion, and may not be reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency.” Translation: the Secretary can buy up whatever junk debt he wants to, burden the American people with it, and be subject to no one in the process.

There goes your country.

Even some so-called free-market economists are calling all this “sadly necessary.” Sad, yes. Necessary? Don’t make me laugh.

Our one-party system is complicit in yet another crime against the American people. The two major party candidates for president themselves initially indicated their strong support for bailouts of this kind - another example of the big choice we’re supposedly presented with this November: yes or yes. Now, with a backlash brewing, they’re not quite sure what their views are. A sad display, really.

Although the present bailout package is almost certainly not the end of the political atrocities we’ll witness in connection with the crisis, time is short. Congress may vote as soon as tomorrow. With a Rasmussen poll finding support for the bailout at an anemic seven percent, some members of Congress are afraid to vote for it. Call them! Let them hear from you! Tell them you will never vote for anyone who supports this atrocity.

The issue boils down to this: do we care about freedom? Do we care about responsibility and accountability? Do we care that our government and media have been bought and paid for? Do we care that average Americans are about to be looted in order to subsidize the fattest of cats on Wall Street and in government? Do we care?

When the chips are down, will we stand up and fight, even if it means standing up against every stripe of fashionable opinion in politics and the media?

Times like these have a way of telling us what kind of a people we are, and what kind of country we shall be.

In liberty,

Ron Paul

Ron Paul’s latest message about the bailout -

Dear Friends,

Whenever a Great Bipartisan Consensus is announced, and a compliant media assures everyone that the wondrous actions of our wise leaders are being taken for our own good, you can know with absolute certainty that disaster is about to strike.

The events of the past week are no exception.

The bailout package that is about to be rammed down Congress’ throat is not just economically foolish. It is downright sinister. It makes a mockery of our Constitution, which our leaders should never again bother pretending is still in effect. I have no love for Ron Paul OR Bob Barr, and I would never vote for a libertarian candidate…

But I’m disappointed that we don’t have more choices on the ballot. This “lesser of two evils” stuff is pathetic for a supposedly free country.

All of a sudden McBush wants to postpone a debate and pretend he wants to address a financial crisis he didn’t even know existed less than a week ago. And get this, his reason is to help get support for Bush’s plan. That’s the kind of maverick he really is, and the kind of change we can expect from him, old 90%+. WHAT HE SAYS AND WHAT HE DOES ARE 2 ENTIRELY DIFFERENT THINGS. LISTEN AND LEARN.

To ‘Chrystal’ above…you are probably the stupidest bimbo to post about Ron Paul…

All you people who joke about Ron Paul’s knowledge are FOOLs. He predicted the current financial situation YEARS ago!

‘Copyleft’ …keep voting for the same ones and you get the same thing - CORRUPTION and greed. What other choices do you want on your ballot other than LP, Constitutional, Green, R and democrackkk??? The system is RIGGED by the establishment to keep the patriots out off the ballot.
