SNL went easy on an extremely soft target.

The soft target Our Electorate better destroy is the myth of John McCain’s integrity. Watch this and know his killing 143 on the deck of the Forrestal, getting shot down due to his admitted (near “anchorman”) stupidity and martial incompetence, breaking his bones ejecting, getting captured, cooperating as a POW, betraying his faithful wife, marrying a Mob-frontman’s daughter, and choosing Hitler-in-drag for a running-mate is no coincidence.

For our country’s good, I hope Tina Fey’s gig on Sarah Palin runs out in two months. Not that SNL doesn’t have enough material to run this character indefinitely.

This skit was well done and entertaining. It was very tame compared to what I was expecting. Tina Fay plays an excellent Sara Palin. I hope to see more over the next eight years. I was disappointed that Fred Armisen did not Obama though. We really need to get as many Obama skits in before he disappears from the national political scene. The best skit of the night was Will Forte playing a swim coach and breaking out into a hilarious dance. Well done SNL!

Wow! What a surprise! The AJC wants to push a partisan attack on a Republican.

All Tina Fey demonstrated last night is that she is informed by partisan hacks like Bookman and Krugman and she is not a serious follower of the news.

That uniform and he courage of those who wear it is what gives you the ability to spew your ignorance, rumors, and hate. Freedom is not free!!

I like Tina Fey, but seeing her dressed up trying to look like Sarah Palin, who is several years older than she is, shows just how much she comes up short in the looks department to the vice pres. candidate. Say what you will about Palin she’s a lot prettier than Fey.

If you get the opportunity today, punch a Democrat in the face. It will make you feel so much better and really help the world. I enjoy punching a Democrat daily, it really is quite a fulfilling deal. It really brings a good bit of happiness to my heart.

Seriously, Democrats and liberals in general are like a cancerous tumor that needs to be eradicated.

Will,

McCain’s fairly worthless as a candidate but he didn’t kill anyone on the Forrestal. The static charge on an F4 Phantom shot a rocket into his fueled and armed plane. Nothing he could have done to save anyone from the inferno.

That said, McCain’s character as a veteran isn’t questioned. His role as a senator and his choice of VP are in question.

Just like those of you can’t in good conscience vote for Obama, I can’t vote for McCain/Palin. If there was ever an opportunity to absolve ourselves of the past 8 years, now is the time. As a single person in my 20’s w/o property making double the avg household income, I am perfectly willing to take on additional tax burden (I already pay well over 25k/yr in taxes) for the simple fact that I know that we’re spending the money (on Iraq, Afghanistan, etc) and we need the investment to fix the gov’t that we have so badly broken by allowing fear mongering and corporate pandering to influence.

The good old USA. Other countries are starting to laugh at us and call us the UNITED STUPID A##holes. It’s sad. Please…let’s do the right thing. Let’s put the right person in the White House, I don’t care what color he is. As long as he knows what the heck he’s doing.

This skit is hilarious!

Only ignorant Georgians will choose to vote for the McCain/Palin ticket as they pay $4.00 for gas, more for good, lose jobs, pay more for healthcare. McCain could have selected a cow and they would have voted for them. The argument would have been “cows are good for America, why can’t a cow be VP?”. That’s the way it is in Georgia and that is why we fall at the bottom of all education studies.

Please keep this no Bush doctrine knowing, lying, ear mark taking, robot talking,no teenager supervising, woman AWAY FROM THE WHITE HOUSE!!! Also we know Track was conceived before you got married —hee hee

Not sure what your point is. All the things you mention here happened under the Bush rule. If you want it different, we better have the Dems in and the Reps out.

Of course, I don’t agree with much of what you said either. If all the illegals were deported, your prices would go thru the roof; and we would heave hugh gaps in the services we enjoy daily. We need to find to make those folk legal here, so they can enjoy what little freedom we already enjoy.

Sarah Palin is another “W” & John McInsane when it comes to”smarts”(a “C/D” student or “bottom of graduating class”). Mrs. Palin is no more qualified to be VP than Miss South Carolina. She’s “trailer trash”—which appeals the religious right nuts”/ “immoral majority right”(which is neither right, moral or the majority).

Will Jones comments are correct, and why the press & media will NOT talk about (it), blows me away.

Bottom line, if the AMERICAN people fall for this Republican ticket, I will move to CANADA—-I’m sure I want be missed, because my job will be “outsourced” or filled by an illegal

Salin Palin believes dinosaurs existed just a few thousand years ago, but she doesn’t believe in global warming. Give me a break! It seems like people with the dumbest ideas in this country are the ones most certain of them. This would be a good ad for Republicans.

I’m Sara Palin and I approve this message

“I think stem cells deserve constitutional rights, but torture is fine by me.”

“I think we should listen to whatever scientists working for oil companies say, but I think we should teach school children that evolution isn’t real and that it’s possible that the world is only 6,000 years old.”

“I didn’t get my passport until last year, but the fact Russia is close to Alaska makes me fit to be Commander and Chief.”

“I have never once given a direct order to the Alaskan National Guard, but I’m ready to go toe to toe with the axis of evil.”

“I believe in teaching Abstinence only sex education and not providing minors with any access to birth control. I truly believe that we shouldn’t teach kids about birth control. If you don’t my believe I’m serious about this look at my 17 year old daughter”

I’m Sarah Palin and I approve this message.

They have to mock Palin and Hill. Obama keeps telling anyone who will listen he/his family are ‘off limits’ That alone is enough to tell you what kind of presidency to expect under him (Freedom of the press? Hahaha).

As to the skit. I found it highly amusing. Both the ladies did a fine job. There was pleanty handed to both sides of the aisle.

Amy (?) who portrayed Clinton has one serious flaw. She is about 100 to 1000 times better looking than the NY Senator. I thought Tina Fey was hilarious.

Not sure what your point is. All the things you mention here happened under the Bush rule. If you want it different, we better have the Dems in and the Reps out.

Actually—-it is your Dem controlling CONGRESS you can thank for the current financial issues on oil/housing. Bush has done what he can to get the money back into the hands of the people who EARNED it…Dem want to be Robin Hood….or is that Robbing the ‘Hood?

Anyway, Bush has stated several times he believes that once those WITH capital to spend re-invest in the country the economy will grow. He is sort of right. Unfortunately stake/stock holders got used to double digit year over year increases to their portfolio. Then, someone decided to adopt the policies of Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson — sell our stuff in the foriegn markets….ONLY they decided that the way to continue to make those year over years so good was not to just sell it overseas, but have the Chinese and Indian’s (people of India) be the ones building it too. These folks are slipping in , taking very good technology and healthcare jobs, while the rest of nation concentrates on the Latino’s who what? Take the jobs American’s don’t want?

Despite numerous research and investigative reports, showing that outsourcing the jobs to India and China provides an inferior product: More cost than if it were done here——it takes more of the cheap labor to do what one ‘expensive’ American does, and then it usually has more defects than if the American did it—Our companies keep shipping the jobs out. Supposedly this is to create an inroad to a ‘new market’ (that said that back under Roosevelt and Taft too, and those jobs NEVER came back)…..but what really happens is that American companies pay to train a ‘contractor’ who is then moved to another job after a period of time whomever the ‘contractor’ is then builds within their country for their company (not the American one) a competing product which then gets licensed as the American one (that had that inroad) gets caught in legalities.

Then there is the issue of the North Koreans nuclear weapons. They have long been the front runner of the Chinese. We ask the Chinese to keep the NKs under ‘control’….yet, where did the NK get the knowledge? From the Chinese. Where did the Chinese get it? Does anyone remember that under Bill Clinton it was found that top scientist were selling secrets on the weapons to the Chinese?

Many have called the choice of Palin “historic”.

Yes, it is historic.

The most historic pandering our country has ever seen.

Sadly, the majority of people in this state that we live in will vote for she and McCain anyway.
Shocking how many people have been brainwashed by the Republican party. I for one don’t vote strictly by party, I vote on the candidates. And, as a woman, think this woman is grossly unprepared to be our vice president.
