So a vice presidential candidate walks into the vet’s office….
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Someone in Washington decided that, after all the somber ceremonies of 9/11, a few laughs were required on Thursday night.
So they held a contest for the funniest politician.
According to the ABC News web site, Libertarian presidential candidate Bob Barr said this:
“Does anybody know what the difference between a bulldog and a hockey mom is?” the former Georgia congressman asked. “The bulldog gets vetted.”
Badump-bump.
But the winner was former Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, who declared himself disappointed that he wasn’t picked as the vice presidential nominee.
“John McCain didn’t even vet me,” Huckabee said. “But he didn’t vet Sara Palin either.”
You’ve probably noticed a certain theme here.

Huckabee is multi-talented, multi-faceted and has proven visionary to the direction our country needs to take and the vertical politics of addressing matters of concern to ALL Americans. Huck’s health care, education reform, and Fair Tax are just a few of the many reasons he is going to be a big contender in the future of the US. To the poster Shelby who stated Huck was jealous of Palin….To the contrare…He is THRILLED with Palin…She is a true conservative. Huckabee was NEVER jealous of Romney. Like so many other voters, he stated his TRUE feelings that Romney was not consistent with his platforms. No one can deny this to be true. When will you stop blaming Huckabee for being more popular than Romney???

Martin — then I suggest you do a little research rather than running off your mouth — you will be quite surprised to learn that story is totally accurate.

Our rights come from G-d as enunciated in our founding Documents and the Mottoes of Our Creed by the anointed authors and prophets of utopian American Exceptionalism.
We Veterans are merely those who, in large part since WWII, have been duped into placing our lives at sacrifice to serve false and treasonous faction through the lies of corrupt politicians.
Huckabee’s retailing of his tortured anecdote has rendered it hackneyed. He has done nothing by it to illuminate the mind’s of Americans or to bring to justice the traitors who killed John Kennedy to get us dead in Vietnam, or who installed the homosexual draft-dodger in the White House to commit 9/11 and get us, and many other innoncents, dead in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The strange marriage of evangelicals who speak in tongues and old catholics who think they are snacking on jesus makes me want to scream. They have b******* the message of Jesus for political gain and power. Scary, I thought we where fighting religious extremists.
