Minneapolis — Georgia Republican congressional hopeful Rick Goddard was a casualty of today’s shortened session of the Republican National Convention.
Goddard, who is trying to knock off U.S. Rep. Jim Marshall (D-Ga.) in November, was originally slated for a prime speaking time during the opening session of the convention. But when the RNC and John McCain’s campaign decided to significantly scale back the day’s activities out of respect for the Gulf Coast, Goddard’s spot at the podium disappeared.
On the bus ride back to the delegation hotel this afternoon, however, Goddard said he’s still hoping for a slot Tuesday or later in the week.
“We haven’t heard anything, yet,” Goddard said.

General Goddard has signed on to the Gang of 10 $84 million Windfall Tax on Oil. Marshall is actually the Conservative in this race. Maybe next time the GOP can come up with a Republican rather than a RINO.

It’s obvious the GOP is in trouble, using a storm to avoid letting Bush speak in public, Sarah was a big mistake I predict she won’t be on the ticket or the Conservatives will be rioting at KenneyBunk Port!

After 30 years of service I really wanted to meet the General, after a few minutes talking to him it was obvious he was just a typical General who was only interested in the fat cats not little people like me. I’m voting for the Sargent Marshall he cares about people like me.

I thought every noncom knew O-6 was the last honest promotion. Who but scum would go along with the traitors who killed Kennedy to get us killed in Vietnam…or goes along with the homosexual draft-dodger cheated into the White House by the Catholics on the Supreme Court who obviously committed 9/11?

You sure got that right. Today at lunch some friends told me that the General had President Bush down for a fund raiser but rather than having it in Macon they had it in north Georgia, guess that is the only place that supports the General.

Bush is filthy scum. The Guard was officially closed when he was cheated in by his Congressman-father…the line he jumped to slide under the locked door was the waiting list for when slots came open again in 18 months.
His hypocrisy pushing the “Marriage Amendment’ while having overnights at the White House with $200/hour homosexual prostitute “Jeff Gannon”(James Guckert), confirmed by the Secret Service’s logbook from the guard desk at the “social entrance” is about right to expect from the son of Kennedy’s assassin and the grandson of Hitler’s banker.
