Georgia: In the cheap seats
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Denver — The powers that be here have decreed Georgia in the back of the house.
The Democratic National Committee on Sunday released the delegate seating plan for the Pepsi Center, for the convention that begins Monday.
If Georgia’s 102-voting delegates were any further from the podium, they’d be in Boulder. Still, they’re not as bad off as Missouri and Arizona, which might have to worry about snow, they’re so high up in this Mile High City.
You can see the delegate seating chart here.

So who’s paying for Shirley’s Denver junket? There she is, running across the country for the “blue states”, but leaving Atlanta - once again - deep in the red. Awwww! Thank you, Shirley! Please, as soon as you get back, raise our taxes here and cut even more city services! I’m just SO proud to be an Atlanta native and resident these days. And an absentee “mayor” makes total sense in light of the current conditions! Okay, so I’m donning an Army green jacket, old corduroys and black Keds shoes, putting on my angry face, and heading to East Atlanta to drink PBR and emasculate some EMO white guys like my friends and I do on Sundays like this one.See ya’ around!

They put Florida and Michigan upfront. Now that’s punishment for not following the rules. What a bunch of crap. I can understand IL, DE, and CO but can someone explain FL and MI? Follow the rules sit in the back, don’t listen and be rewarded with front row seats and these folks want to run the entire country….scary……

The anger you spittle out your skull is your own, deep hate of self. Learn to love yourself and people, fellow Americans who happen to have a different philosophy, enjoy the event, note your disagreements, but don’t rage against yourself or the left because they don’t share your philosophy

You’ve got to be kidding me! The Georgia deligation is in rows 12 through 17 and they’re facing the stage. For any concert, those would be expensive seats. All states, including Georgia, are seated in the lower section of the arena. Only floor seats are better. Go price similar seats for a Thrashers game at Phillips Arena and tell me again that these are bad seats.
Seriously, this is one of the silliest made up outrages I’ve seen this political season.

As a conservative, it will be amusing to watch this sitcom in Denver featuring a ticket....a mile high & an inch deep. Not even one-point bounce, yet.By ByteMe

They’re closer to the good concession stands, though. Looks like perfect placement to me.

The City of Atlanta did not pay for her ticket. As she is one the national co-chairs of the Obama campaign, her presence is most definitely needed.
Please don’t blame her for the city’s financial crisis. It is all over the United States. Think a moment and open your eyes. Look at the financial crisis the whole state of Georgia—1.6 BILLION IN THE RED. Look at some of the colleges, and companies that are firing and laying off people. {Ga. State, Air Tran, Starbucks, just to name a few.} So, should you want to blame someone or something, blame the people who elected an idiot for president. His administration has helped to augment the energy crisis by refusing to spur the advancement of alternate forms of energy.

The Dems have been usurpted by the far far left run by Marxists, anarchists, socialists & a few communists, Did you really expect Georgia "Cracker" to get respect in this Leftist crowd...By dittohead
