DEL.ICIO.USMcKinney names her veep choice — a hip-hop artist

Up in Chicago, former Georgia congresswoman and presumptive Green Party presidential nominee Cynthia McKinney named her running mate Thursday — hip-hop artist and activist Rosa Clemente.
My AJC colleague Jeffry Scott reports that McKinney’s got a 10-to-1 advantage in delegates over her nearest rival, so her nomination seems secure.
If nominated Saturday in Chicago, McKinney’s name will be on ballots in about 36 states — but not in Georgia, where the Green Party did not collect enough signatures, according to state law, to get on the November ballot.

Cynthia McKinney is one of the few politicians who was intelligent enough to see how corrupt the democratic party was and leave. When I heard she was running on the Green Party’s ticket I immediately donated $100 and so should you. Her choice of veep will ensure the issues that the republicrats refuse to discuss will be brought into the spotlight. But then again, the media has had a complete blackout of her campaign thus far, which is both frustrating and saddening. McKinney has more elected experience than Obama and she’s not a partisan puppet like McCain.
