DEL.ICIO.USJohn Lewis won’t debate? Markel Hutchins says that problem is virtually solved

Long-time Democratic incumbent John Lewis has refused to debate his primary rivals in the 5th District congressional race.
So one of his opponents, Markel Hutchins, has put together a 15-minute virtual YouTube debate, using vintage footage of Lewis weaved together with footage of Hutchins from a studio, and from the recent Atlanta Press Club debate that Lewis skipped.
Hutchins omits “Able” Mable Thomas, the third candidate in the Democratic race — his object is to draw Lewis into a two-man run-off.
“It’s likely that John Lewis doesn’t know what YouTube is,” said Hutchins, 31. “That’s part and parcel what this campaign is all about.”
(A spokesman pointed out that the Lewis campaign launched its own YouTube channel on July 4.)
The production values of Hutchins’ video are high. But the effort, divided into two segments below, is relatively long — and how many people will see it between now and Tuesday is open to question.

Gotta love the ‘crackkks who are always worried about ‘how much money they can bring back to the district’…that was always the spew from Ms. McKinney from the 4th…
How much money can they SAVE the district is the better question.
Nonetheless, even for democrackkks who seek to keep the people oppressed, this was a great piece of homemade marketing!

The moderator of this debate is purposely seen mugging editorially during all of Jone’s comments. This woman is ridiculous. Watch this debate. The producers have unintentionally made Jones out to be a very endearing and empathetic hero. These people have no idea how to run a swiftboat campaign. The producers themselves come across as brutish and unamerican, even rascist against their own kind. They have made themselves into little, little people with tiny, little minds: Hutchin’s Munchkins, if you will. What’s the matter, is Jones too black for you? You didn’t just miss by a country mile, you created the opposite consequence.
I offer my services. You want jones out? Allow me.
Forming the language for torpedoing someone else’s campaign is a rare talent. Producing a video is even more selective.
Just because you can crop videos……My fee is $10K, and that’s cheap, people. I couldn’t with heart take any more than that, but I will destroy Jones’s campaign.
