The citizens of Paulding County need some coverage of what is going on with our politics.

This is Glenn Richardson’s district, yet we have very little press on what is going on here.

Here is a youtube video of Jerry Shearin, our incumbant commission chairman,berating a citizen who signed up the week before to speak the the BOC meeting last Tuesday:

This was concerning an email someone from the BOC leaked of how Richardson and company were attempting to circumvent the the Georgia Tax Payer’s Bill of Rights Law requiring publication of pending tax increases. I have a copy of the email but do not know how to post it here.

Paulding gets no coverage. Most metro Atlanta doesn’t know where we are on the map. There is a lot of stuff going on out here that impacts the state. No one knows because the Atlanta media won’t look under the rocks. If you’ll come out here, we will show you what is there.

The coverage of Cherokee is just as bad. We have a Sheriff with running an illegal charity. A request for his removal and investigation into his finances and yet the AJC has made not mention of this. Not to mention the fact that he hasn’t paid taxes on the nearly $300,000 for the past 5 years.
