McCain ad to air on cable in Georgia

Republican presidential candidate John McCain has launched his latest television ad and this one will be seen in Georgia.

The 30-second ad will be running nationally on cable networks and on local channels in select states. Georgians will see it on cable.

Democrat Barack Obama last week launched his first ad of the campaign in 18 states, including Georgia.

The new ad from McCain is called “Purpose” and highlights McCain’s Lexington Project, which is aimed at creating energy independence by 2025.

McCain spokeswoman Gisele Roget said Friday that the campaign wants to emphasize McCain’s ability to collaborate across the political spectrum.

“John McCain is someone who’s always worked across the aisle,” Roget said. He “is someone who puts his country first, and unfortunately, that’s not what you get with Barack Obama.”

Here’s the ad:

He’s a do-nothin’..Bush policies are McCain’s policies..the fact that gas is as high as it is right now, shows no real future insurance and protection of our, the USA people..keeps going down into the abyss. There is too much focus on those deep pockets in Washington from war profiteering, lobbyist and globalism funnel money bypassing the American people while we pay high interest rates on the money we borrow from China and other communist or tyrannical countries..REDISTRIBUTIONS of wealth from the middle class funneled to the rich by big off shore and relocated corporations.. The poor more desperate..look for an increase of crime…

Nothing will not change with a McCain presidency. He just tells his truths that our Jobs are not coming back..there will be more wars..NO CHANGES.. and don’t expect too much more from Obama.

The reason fuel prices are at $4.00 per gallon is because 13 years ago a republican dominated congress and senate passed a bill to drill offshore as well as in Alaska and a dumbocrat president (Bill Clinton) vetoed the bill. He said that it wasnt going to help fuel prices in the short term only the long term. Well Bill the long term is now and fuel is over four dollars a gallon. Thanks for not looking forward just to insure votes from liberal tree huggers. Last week I heard Obama say the exact same thing about drilling in America… not a short term fix so we shouldnt do it. Here we go again with more shortsightedness from a dumbocrat just to gain votes from bleeding heart liberals. I guess if Obama gets his way we will be paying $25.00 per gallon 13 years from now. Dont blame the fuel prices on Bush do some research and you will find it was one your favorite dumbocrats Billary Clinton who created this mess and the next one if elected will only make it worse!

Republicans are lying about drilling in the same way they lied about Iraq. They know they telling “fairy tales,” but they figure if they say it enough somebody will believe it. Right now the oil companies have 30 million arces off shore they aren’t drilling on right now. They don’t want more supply right now! By the way the oil companies don’t give us a hometown discount for oil. They will sell us oil at the world price. Any minor increase in domestic supply more drilling will provide will be offset by OPEC reducing supply. The increased supply of this new drilling would be at least 10 years and in most cases twenty years down the line and it won’t make a difference. Republicans fought higher milage standards for cars for the past 30 years. Do you really trust them when it comes to energy policy?

Really, sic’em? I thought Obama was all about Yes We Can. Unless it come to energy here at home then it is NO WE CAN’T. Obama and the left are dead wrong. I know because I pay for my gas and understand that more supply will bring down the price. This is a no-brainer, even for democrats.

Crystal,

Why don’t the oil companies drill on the 30 million acres they have in the gulf? YALL can’t ride this fairy tale until November.

Sicem, sugah, there is a really good econ 101 course at most jr colleges and you need to take it. Well, you could use some other courses too, but econ would help you to understand that the reason gas is soooo high is because OPEC pegs the price of oil to the dollar. Now, Bush and his Repugnican cronies have taken the biggest surplus in modern times and flushed it down the toilet and kept spending us into deficit to the tune of over six trillion dollars. Therefore the dollar is now sinking in value and OPEC is jacking up the price of oil because the dollars they are pegged to are worth less and less every single day. Of course it could be worse. The Saudis (and therefore OPEC) could decide that the dollar is just to volatile and peg to another currency, say the Euro and we would be in worse shape than ever.

Ask even a supply-side economist about this and he will admit the truth of this.

Betty Boop says quit blaming the Dems, Clinton, Osama, Obama, Little Red Riding Hood, and your maiden auntie and accept that the beginning of the way out is a change in administration.

When will McCain run an ad about the women in his life? How about his first wife? The one he divorced after she waited five years and after she lost her model looks? How about the kids he abandoned to marry, one month after the divorce, the rich bar girl 22 years his junior? How can a woman vote for this creep? The guy who lies about Vietnam and the guy who was thrown out of the service for having affairs (and worse) with subordinates. The guy who calls his current wife a “cun*t” and a “trollop”. What a sleaze. Conservative Christians for a New GOP

McCains Defaulted On Home Taxes For Last Four Years, Newsweek To Report Newsweek is set to publish a highly embarrassing report on Sen. John McCain, revealing that the McCains have failed to pay taxes on their beach-front condo in La Jolla, California, for the last four years and are currently in default, The Huffington Post has learned.

Under California law, once a residential property is in default for five years, it can be sold at a tax sale to recover the unpaid taxes for the taxpayers.

The McCains own at least seven homes through a variety of trusts and corporations controlled by Cindy McCain.
