Those who don’t believe in Al Gore go up extra fast

There are political stunts, and then there are fun political stunts.

The Georgia chapter of Americans for Prosperity, an anti-tax group, is hosting a Thursday event featuring free a hot-air balloon ride, to underline what it says are the harsh economic consequences of fighting global warning.

AFP already had its “Hot Air Tour” up and floating elsewhere during the Washington debate over the now-stalled Lieberman-Warner climate bill, which calls for capping carbon dioxide emissions from power plants, transportation and industrial sources.

The AFP will have its balloon (and 70-foot tether) at Jim Miller Park in Marietta at 11 a.m. Thursday.

Word is that you don’t have to present yourself as a global warming skeptic to go up in the balloon. But they may ask for a different answer before they bring you down.

AlGore is a tool. He is making millions off the man made global warming junk (follow the money). I am so glad that I should live for the next 40 years. I will be around when all these dire predictions prove to be so much garbage.

If the balloon is shaped like AlGore’s fat head, this would really be funny. Peace.

The global warming issue is by now a litmus test for morons. The same people who think global warming is a hoax also think the landing on the moon was staged.

Do the folks with brains a favor - all you diots get on your balloon and then cut the tether.

Global Luke Warming is a new age religion for tree hugging twits, a political jihad for unscrupulous politicians, the biggest swindle since Enron, and the biggest fraud since Piltdown Man. The climate of the Earth has been changing continuously for the past 4.5 billion years and will continue to do so for the next 6 billion years when the sun will exhaust the hydrogen that it has been burning since its inception and then begin burning helium. This will cause our star, the sun, to go from a main sequence yellow to a red giant. It will swallow the planets Mercury and Venus and perhaps even the Earth. Even if Earth survives we will lose our atmosphere and oceans and the surface of the earth will be molten lava and resemble Jupiter’s moon Io. During the past 4.5 billion years we have been much hotter and colder and carbon dioxide levels have been far higher than they are now. The entire Global Luke Warming fraud is about to implode and you tree huggers will find that your carbon offsets are as useless as Confederate money. Back during 1906 the Earth past through the tail of Halley’s comet. Church attendance reached an all time high as people were convinced that the Earth would be destroyed when the comet set our atmosphere on fire. Didn’t happen. Ten years from now you Warm Mongers will be chasing a new hobgoblin and look just as foolish and insufferably boring as you are now. If you want to read something intelligent about this you won’t find it on the editorial page of the ajc. Try Michael Crichton’s Aliens Cause Global Warming.

You have to give the fat pompous blow-hard credit for tapping in on America’s abundance of stupidity and making a killing off really dumb people. All the while his Tennessee mansion uses the same amount of energy in one month to equal that of 225 regular homes. He and his family ride around on private jets while he makes those that don’t rdie a bike to work feel guilty and they send him more money. How gullible can some folks be? Ask Al….if you can catch him between trips to the bank.

Which is bigger, Al’s butt and gut combo, his bank account or ego?
