Think of it as the digital version of slipping flyers under windshield wipers
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
A shout out to the Saxby Chambliss for U.S. Senate campaign, for its help in driving up the Insider page-view count.
Chambliss political director Justin Tomczak sent out the following note this morning to those who have befriended the campaign’s Facebook page:
Team,
There are two stories up that could use our help in the comments section:
1) A negative post from the DSCC on our budget vote -
http://www.dawsontimes.com/news30534/chambliss-votes-against-budget-that-creates-jobs-i.shtml?33987652#bmc3827
2) A post on our opponents and Barack Obama -
http://www.ajc.com/metro/content/shared-blogs/ajc/politicalinsider/entries/2008/06/06/jonesjoinstheobamabandwago.html
Thanks for your help with this, and please be civil in your remarks.
Chambliss spokesman Michelle Grasso eagerly copped to the e-mail, on behalf of Tomczak. “We understand the power of the new media,” Grasso said.
She said Chambliss will have a presence on MySpace in a few days, to give the campaign an even larger Internet footprint.

Will Saxby post a few of his jogging photos on MySpace, so we can all see him out running on the knee that kept him out of Vietnam?

Why read his blog when you can go to his website and see for yourself.
That farm bill ensures that we do not become dependent on foreign imports for food. Nice try Mike K.

It’s hard for me to understand the enthusiasm for Mr. Chambliss’ re-election. He is complicit with the lies of President Bush. Lies that are directly responsible for the deaths of American soldiers. He has been a failure.
To all of Chambliss’ supporters, if you want a dose of reality, take a look at my YouTube videos about Chambliss.
To see my video, go to YouTube and do a search for “Chambliss Iraq”. To see my other Chambliss video do a YouTube search for “Chambliss Katrina”.
Rock on, Oscar

Saxby Chambliss is incapable of having an original thought. He can only follow what others tell him to do and has no business being in the Senate. He couldn’t find his way of a paper bag without help.

Saxby has been known to not tell the truth, like on immigration.. here are some of the reasons for his vote to override Bush’s veto of the Farm Bill, but it all gets down to money.. As Charles Walker said “What’s in it for me”
According to a September 6, 2005 article by Tom Philpott in Bitter Greens Journal titled “Saxby Chambliss and Family Values”:For now, let’s just say that it’s no surprise that Sen. Chambliss, whom I have already taken to task here and here, is such a popular beneficiary of big-ag cash.
But his rock-solid support for commodity subsidies may also have a familial angle. I learned from this interview that Sen. Chambliss’ son-in-law is one Joe Baker, owner of Baker Farms in Norman Park, Ga., and board member of the Georgia Fruit & Vegetable Growers Association.
According to the Environmental Working Group’s invaluable Farm Subsidy Database, Baker Farms got about $171,000 in federal subsidies between 1995 and 2003, the great bulk of them from the controversial cotton program.
Now, in the grand scheme, $170k isn’t so very much. By comparison, Georgia’s top-20 most-subsidized farms all received in excess of $2 million over the same period.
Still, comparing Baker Farms’ annual take with that of the state of Georgia as a whole yields an interesting trend: Baker Farms’ percentage share of its state’s total subsidy allotment increases consistently over the period.
And that period—1995 to 2003—roughly coincides with Chambliss’ ascent from member of the U.S. House (where he was first elected in 1994) to his entry into the Senate (2002).

How dare the Republicans try to support their candidate, and on the AJC no less. The AJC only supports lib/democrat candidates, and Saxby’s supporters are trying to add some balance to the paper’s coverage. What an outrage!!! I am shocked. Republicans are not entitled to free speech because of Bush’s failed policies. How can this happen?

Well Churchill instead of acting like Charlie Brown, just stop trying to kick the football.
You know the AJC is liberal, you know they are going to write about things that pizz you off, so leave! Stop supporting them with your clicks. Its that easy. Certainly the AJC has the right to be as liberal as it wants.
You could go to the website of the conservative metro-Atlanta wide newspaper. Ever think of that? Heck considering supply and demand surely there is a conservative paper out there somewhere for you, right?
Of course thats not your point is it? Getting all hysterical at the liberal media is much more intellectual, right? The reason for your hysteria is because most of the time, even with a perfect hold, your kick only goes two yards.
You supply side Republicans need to start your own paper.

Justin may have to soon put REAL flyers on REAL winsdhields to try to convince voters that Saxby wil not act again with the corporate masters and the far left crazies to legalize the millions of you kow whos.
I look forward to NOT voting for Saxby, I can still see him standing on the stage with the Dems and McCain when the amnesty sales pitch began last year.
There are lots of Georgians who remember, Saxby.
