The real reason why Clinton won’t concede
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Just got an e-mail from former state lawmaker Tom Bordeaux down in Savannah, who offered this insight into the Democratic presidential race:
“I sympathize with Hillary Clinton’s reluctance to quit the race. After all, did you see what they did to the last filly who came in second?”
He says his observation is original, and possibly even copyrighted.

She’s in hock to her campaign more than $11 million…the direct opposite of the principle of the Electoral College set down by The Founders, where all knew it undignified and inappropriate to “seek the esteem of others.”
Candidates were brought forward and vouched for by locals of established integrity - probity: Sort of twisted verson of the pervert in Newton County being put up for their BOE by his GOP fellowtravels.
Hillary’s bankrolling herself and if she calls it quits there is zero likelihood of any more suckers throwing money in the campaign coffers to pay back her “Working Class” millions.
She topped her marital dysfunction or perversion by lying about the “sniper fire” in Bosnia.
No person of good repute would have anything to do with her…or the Newton County pervert…or Bush…or anyone who would have anything to do with them.
We must restore righteous, truth and Justice in America. Corrupt, dishonest, moneygrubbing, and treasonous politicians won’t get the job done.

Maybe Hillary should stick to cattle futures (turning $1000 into over $100k in 10 months). Well, we know there was something crooked about that deal somewhere (can you say ‘money laundry’ boys and girls?).
The real reason for not dropping out is she’s looking for some way to sink the Obama Campaign - by hook or by crook. After all, she’s a Clinton!

Bordeaux’s comment regarding Hillary “original”?
No.
This is from my column Wednesday, May 7, published in The Columbia County News-Times, headlined “Second place can be deadly”:
As cartoonist BJ Wood and others have pointed out, the horse Hillary Clinton picked in the Kentucky Derby came in second - losing to a horse named Big Brown.
At least if she doesn’t win the Democratic party’s nomination, Hillary won’t have to worry about suffering Eight Belles’ awful fate: the filly broke both front legs and was euthanized after Saturday’s race.

Jim Galloway - you’re supposed to provide insight? More like you’re just a Limbaugh puppet and to stupid to come up with real information.
Sexist and dumb - yep, you’re a natural Republican.

Grow up everyone and realize that she really has no option. She’s running on the legacy of all women. No woman’s come this far and for her to just quit would take woman a step backwards. Be objective and realize that everything’s not totally self motivated.
Plus don’t you want to nominate someone who can deliver a knock out. Obama hasn’t proven that yet. I don’t want someone trying to win by decision to run my country.

She is not getting out. She will do everything she can to get the nomination in Aug, or 2012. Think about. Who would Hillary rather challenge in 2012, McCain in the general or Obama for the nomination. I am not saying that she has given up this year. She will send the Democrat party into chaos and division if she has to.
The Clinton’s are political animals that survive and thrive on power. Their addiction to power is worse than our national “addiction” to fossil fuels. I have been posting for months that there will be riots in Denver, I believe that Hillary will risk riots if she has to.
You libs may ask, “why would she destroy our party?” The answer is that Hillary believes that it is her party and she can do what she wants with it. As a conservative, I love this. You guys are getting what you voted for. A weak, in experienced candidate, Obama, and an unholy *itch with an unquenchable thirst for power. The country is watching to see how you guys sort this out. Peace.

Church is spot on! She will take Obama out now for later. This is mighty funny to see. I hope that the Democrat Presidential nomination race never ends.

I agree with Mr. Reality that Sen. Clinton is running for all women who hope to follow in her footsteps. But part of that is to follow the same rules like the men who have previously ruled the field — step down when the outcome is clear, be a team player, and save your efforts for more productive things. It is hurting future female candidates, not helping them, that the first serious woman candidate for President is trying to tear the house down long after it became clear that she would not win.

Churchill:
The “libs” couldn’t possibly do a worse job that the so-called “conservatives” who have been running the show for the last 8 years.

Fine, The Snark, if Hillary does what I think she will, you will not have the opportunity to prove it. Peace.

There is a more realistic reason why Hillary is still running… although I happen to think the comment is funny.
Hillary is still in this because she believes that this races is still HERS.
From day one, she got into this believing that the nomination was hers and hers alone when she wants it. Not “if” but “when”. All she would supposedly have to do is say “I’m in” and she would be the nominee and everything else would be just a formality. That’s how she carried herself, and that’s how the campaign treated this whole process as.
She did not count on Obama being the Internet pop sensation, and she certainly did not count on Obamamania beating her in the primaries. As far as she’s concerned, Obama is a fluke… a passing fad… just like Howard Dean was once upon a time ago.
She’s still in the running, even though the numbers are against her, because she still believes that the backroom politicians are still going to GIVE her the nomination. She believes that somehow ALL of those superdelegates who are under no obligation to decide according to popular vote will be told from the party bosses to vote for her when the time comes. She believes that there will really be a “Survivor”-style blindside of Obama and that the party will just fall in line with her at the convention. She wouldn’t be in this for this long if she didn’t think that it wasn’t going to happen.
The real question will be… what will happen if by some chance SHE is the one blindsided instead of Obama.
