‘The Ox’ files his paperwork for a 2010 run for governor

Insurance Commissioner John Oxendine filed his paperwork Wednesday to begin raising money to run for governor in 2010. The Republican made clear he plans to campaign on tax cuts.

“As a Georgia taxpayer, I am disappointed the tax breaks we were all promised were not passed by the General Assembly,” Oxendine said in a press release. “On April 30, I, as so many of my fellow Georgians do year after year, will be paying the annual birthday ad-valorem tax on my automobile.

“I would hope the governor and the Legislature could also help the taxpayer by agreeing on the tax breaks which have been proposed.”

Taxes who cares, I care about helping out the masses. We only live once, what’s the point in material items, we should treat everyone with kindness, if that means I pay more based upon my income so be it. I care about how ugly the republicans are to the less fortunate. Lighten up, loosen up, and give it up for one day you’ll be dead and no one will care that you owned a nice car or house, they will care how you treated those in need.

Calling the commissioner the “ox” is like calling a bull an ox. He’s grateful for the honor, but he’d rather have restored to him what’s rightfully his. (ben franklin)

I don’t care about the fair tax, I care about the lives we lead and how we treat each other while were here. The obsession with money and power in this country is ruining everyone from the top to the bottom and everywhere in between. I support the human race - Churchill- you should decide to join sometime, it might melt your cold heart.
