Democrat in the Senate will try to bring back guns-in-parking-lots language
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
State Sen. J.B. Powell, a conservative Democrat from Blythe, says he’ll try to tack the following language onto H.B. 257, a bill to permit constables to carry firearms in public buildings:
No private or public employer shall establish, maintain, or enforce any policy or rule that has the effect of prohibiting an employee for transporting or storing a firearm in a locked motor vehicle; provided, however, that this Code Section shall not apply to correctional facilities, federal property, or public or private employer owned vehicles.

Guns don’t kill people, space aliens kill people. I suggest a gun in every closet and a chicken in every pot. Seriously you gun nuts take the cake and shoot it to. Eliminate all guns and the military as well. Go outside and hug a tree, smell the flowers and have/make some free love. Peace 4 shizel.

I love it when our Legislators protect their own environment and leave the rest of us to fight it out. I’d have no problem with the “more guns, less crime” mentality if it applied to everyone. Open the State Capitol and Federal buildings to firearms traffic and I’ll endorse this nonsense.

People should be allowed to have their guns stored in their cars while at work, shopping malls, etc. Just crazy not to allow it with all the nut cases that invade their former work place to kill people, people that get robbed at ATMs, people killed at shopping mall parking lots, people killed at schools, etc.
Gun laws are not stopping criminals, that is for sure. People like Hilton prey on defenseless people just for ATM cards.
I think people should be able to carry a gun anywhere. What we should do is badly punish people that commit a felony with a handgun on purpose (robbery, drugs, stalking, etc.). If you take a gun and commit a 1st degree murder, it should be an automatic death sentence carried out within two years (to allow appeals).

It is simple, if you have a permit to carry, that means everywhere.
