A departure

By now you’ll have noticed we are much reduced. Bob Kemper has departed the Political Insider blog and our AJC bureau in Washington to pursue other opportunities. Feel free to wish him Godspeed below, as his friends here do.

Well, Jim, I guess that answers the question regarding who was who in the photo at the top of the page.

Good luck and good godspeed, Bob.

What are these “other opportunities” you speak of? And will Political Insider now become a solo project, or should we be expecting an addition (not Jay Bookman)?

If you’re looking for a replacement, I’ll take the position that Bob is leaving. I could take this blog to the top. Choose me!

Good luck to Bob.

Opportunity is an interesting word. It’s an effective power lunch word, and when combined with the word business, you can charge up to three martinees to your rich uncle sam. I’m trying to forgive cheney for the incidental business opportunities he let fall upon himself during his service to our country as part of the cheney/rumsfeld insider jugernaut of defense contract allocation.

Cheney was always priveledged to the dirty tricks of his superiors, so he enjoyed a mutually assured career destruction detente with the same military that the Russians did.

The Charge? Cheney doesn’t own the Catsup, he owns the key to the supply closet where you have to go to get more ketchup, (the saudis make the keys).

Cheney/Rumsfeld held the army back in the wake of our counter offensive against Al Queda because of the favor he owed his Allahfuerher in the Saudi Royal Family, who he contracted with to direct treasury funds for the military. The delay was over percentages, which took longer to has out. They must have realized that trillions were at stake for Cheney, Cheney, and Cheney. (“Cheney here”.)

Clearly the war powers of a president dont extend to the Vice President. If Bush split his presidency into 2 parts, and if Cheney was allowed the role of commander in chief, then that is treason. Clearly. Coldly. and most distressingly.

I summoned the spirit of Lincoln, the passion of King, and the vision of Obama, and I formerly charge Bush and Cheney with a conpiracy, that was born when cheney realized he was unelectable and when Bush realized that the churchlady adored him, a pact was achieved, and a co-presidency was hatched.

When has the VP ever been allowed to countermand the commander-in-chief’s orders.

Cheney and Bush: VPW….. Vipper…. pronounce veeper

Does cheny owe allegience to his AllahFuehrer?

Good luck Bob. Jim, it looks like it’s getting lonely in that picture in the top left had corner. But, that’s no excuse not to keep up the coverage of City of Atlanta issues.
