Chambliss, Martin may start U.S. Senate campaigns on the same day
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Republican incumbent Saxby Chambliss announces his bid for re-election to the U.S. Senate on Monday. U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson will be at Chambliss’ side in Moultrie.
A statewide fly-around is to follow.
Atlanta attorney Jim Martin may be trying to steal some of Chambliss’ thunder — we’re hearing the Democrat has picked the same day for his entrance into the race.

Good to hear that Jim Martin is going to run for the U.S. Senate. I like Josh Lanier in a matchup against Chambliss so don’t rule out Lanier winning the nomination. And it’s not a lock that the majority of African Americans will vote for Vernon Jones in the primary when his personal life is put under the microscope.

Jim Martin, liberal Atlanta attorney, was soundly defeated for the open Lt. Gov’s seat less than 2 years ago. Georgians rejected his big government, big spending, big tax hike ideas. He is simply out of touch with Georgia Values.
Should he jump into this race, he will be soundly defeated again.

I have no idea what the Democrats are getting so excited about Jim Martin…Does no one remember Cagle beating him two short years. I am excited about him running. It’s just more money VJ will have to spend before he gets beat by the SAX!

No - Saxby Does NOT reflect GA values. He votes against allowing Immigrants that served in Iraq Citezinship, against funding for Child care and development, and against Middle class Tax Cuts. So Don’t tell me that Saxby fights for GA - he votes for Big Business, Big money and Big Oil.

Jim Martin is a nice guy, but he has no chance of winning either the primary, or (should a miracle happen and he defeat Vernon) Saxby in the General. Jim is a left wing, liberal who has no chance in Georgia.
Vernon will defeat him and his political career will have been proven to be a complete joke.
I don’t see why he would even consider taking this risk. Then again, he is a crazy liberal.

Vernon Jordan, the rapist, has no chance of beating Saxby. Frankly, I believe that the Republicans will hold the seat.

Based on Jim Martin’s credentials (or lack there of) and his unfeasible platform, I say that Jim Martin should expect to lose this race by more than the 12-point spread (that is what Cagle beat him by for the Lt. Gov seat).
After we have come so far, Georgians don’t want to relive the days of Max Cleland. Saxby has done a great job representing Georgia in the senate and Georgians will want him to continue to do so for the next six years!

The idea that a Democrat is favor of tax cuts is a joke.

Yeah I really hated it when Max was our Senator - economic growth, and a true war hero representing us. Now we have a chickenhawk who blindly jumps every time Bush or his Cheney barks at him.
Much better…

…or they could get the number to a brothel and pay a struggling young woman, who just wants to have a better life, for sex. Like the former, Democrat Gov. of New York. Right, Trash?

Someone ought to ask Senator Chambliss what he thinks of King Hussein of Jordan: http://acropolisreview.com/2008/03/king-hussein-of-jordan-barack-hussein.html

Georgia needs to send a fighter for America to the Senate to help President Obama restore the Constitution and the Middle Class…where the true Americans live.
Fascist plutocracy, debasement of the money supply, illegal immigration, false war, treason - the American Middle Class, the Fifth Column’s only threat to their restoring the Old Sectarian Order of King and Pope, is being destroyed. Chambliss is a soldier for Rome in his support for Bush.
Bush is a homosexual draft-dodger who committed 9-11. He was cheated in by vote fraud and the Roman Catholics on the Supreme Court. His father did kill John Kennedy to keep us in Rome’s Vietnam. His Knight of Malta-grandfather was Hitler’s banker. His great-grandfather was with the Rockefellers when they built Standard Oil on unredressed murder and arson.
We are now paying $3.50 for a gallon of gas.
The Walker-Bush’s incredible string of trans-generational crimes against the American People has been brought to us by the Roman Anti-Christ which they and their Vatican-banker Rockefeller overlords serve.
Jefferson and Our Whig Founders knew it was the Anti-Christ when this Great Nation was formed by them. Why make Elect one who has never said a word about the evil now apparent to all?
We can all see the truth now. Does it make any sense to follow someone who never knew or remained silent when it was going down to begin with?
Saxby showed foul the way he ran against Cleland. Bush has shown foul the way he and his crew tanked the Internet Revolution to grab equities at the bottom reached falsely the same way his great-grandfather and Rockefeller intentionally tanked the run up on Electric Revolution stocks under Edison and Tesla…to grab equity and keep the power with BIG OIL…Roman Catholic, fascist, popish, monarchical BIG OIL.
Bush showed foul the way he was cheated into the White House by only the Roman Catholic Supreme Court Justices’ votes.
Saxby’s been Bush’s good buddy all along even when he committed 9-11 and had homosexual prostitute James Guckert/Jeff Gannon’s name show up on the White House’s Social Entrance logbook for overnights.
Let’s have a vibrant Senate primary to replace Chambliss, but please consider that many of us saw the writing on the wall before all this evil went down, and shared the vision.
Shouldn’t Georgia elect someone who knew what was going on and tried to warn us? The vested interests that, by and large, control both major parties have gotten away with putting us into the mess we are by divide and conquer, misdirection, and crime.
Hillary works for them and calls herself a Democrat despite her lack of character or class.
Just because someone is being trotted out as a “Democrat” doesn’t mean it will do the People of Georgia any good.
The Anti-Christ needs to be cast into the Pit, by us…The American People. Obama makes the right allusions. Let’s make this Democratic Senate Primary about restoring America and rectifying the evil Bush and his good buddies have wrought against us and the Constitution.
Let’s have some candidates who are up to the task.
