Perdue: VP post = eviction notice
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Gov. Sonny Perdue was in Washington today to announce his endorsement of Sen. John McCain, the all-but-official Republican nominee for president.
Perdue was among six governors to announce their new allegiance with the Arizona senator, who never got along with conservatives in his party and who may be considering a running mate a little further right to balance the ticket.
When asked, though, Perdue down played the chance that that conservative could be him.
The only ones talking to him about the possibility of a VP slot, he said, are “the media - and they’re just trying to get rid of me in Georgia.”

If these governors were truly conservative, and not jockeying for the VP slot, they would be endorsing Huckabee, who is the singularly best candidate in this election.

Still with the Huckaphony??? McCain is the man, now. No matter what. Doesn’t matter we have a lot of work to do on our side. Do not let the left win. I’ll take McCain over the other tow libs. It is, unfortunately, that simple.

Robert, It is mathematically impossible for Huckabee to win so why would anybody endorse him at this point?????

Why did you remove the last sentence, “Were we that obvious” from the Perdue:VP post = eviction notice?

Guys, exactly what kind of supreme court justices and federal appellate judges do you think Hillary or Obama are going to nominate? If you purport to be a “conservative,” this is the biggest no-brainer in the history of the earth. Vote for the guy who is with you 85% of the time, not the guy (or gal) who is against you 85% of the time.

McCain is it. The nominee. Fine. Let us attack the libs with impunity; all of us, with one loud voice.
As soon as the libs, in the media, pick a socialist they like they will turn on McCain, and by association all on the right. Now is the time to pressure those “down ballot”. Meaning those candidates that are the most conservative need our help now more than ever. OK the top of the ticket is bad, but look what the other side has to offer.
Viva McCain!!

The Supreme Court majority is Roman Catholic. The Roman Catholic bloc unconstitutionally stopped the Florida recount in ‘Bush v. Gore.’ McCain is Roman Catholic, and Mafia-connected. Hillary is losing her Roman Catholic base wishing to vote American by electing Obama: the greatest threat to Rome’s American Fifth Column now controlling us. Follow the Mottoes. Obey the Constitution - it’s what Our Armed Forces take The Oath to protect with our lives.
Our Constitution and the Sovereignty of the People is anathema to Rome. The Roman Anti-Christ and its false-elite supporting the 9-11-committing homosexual draft-dodger cheated into the White House must be “cast into the Pit” that America once more prosper under Annuit Coeptis.

Hey, Winston! You got it exactly. To paraphrase your namesake, McCain is the worst nominee, except for all the rest.

Perdue now officially makes me sick. McCain is a Democrat in a Republican mask, and I had hoped Sonny wouldn’t be shamelessly pandering by proffering an endorsement. No wonder we in the GOP are so disillusioned with this so-called primary “election”.

When Sonny said “the media is just trying to get rid of me”, maybe the media had logged onto www.mccainperdue.com and they really had a reason to question his credentials for national office. Check it out for yourself.

Just goes to show why the Republican party is in such decline. Excellent conservative candidates like Ron Paul got marginalized by the MSM and the Republican party, while Bush clones like McCain, Romney, and Guliani got all the attention. None of them were conservative, none of them proposed massive cuts in government spending, and none of them ever talked about reducing the size of government.
But now of course, every spineless, unprincipled republican is getting lin line to goose step their way to minneapolis in support of a man who may just make Bush look like a winner.
What’s more, the party knows they can always count on these sheep - just like the democrats know they can crap all over their constituents, put up a communist (or 2) not do anything to even attempt to stop the war, and count on these jerks to keep coming back and voting for them every time.
Americans are sheep, and the two party system, rather than being a natural result of two divergent political views in this country instead is a shining example of how little difference there is fundamentally in this country when it comes to politics. Basically everyone wants big government. Some for worthless social programs that make things worse, and the rest for worthless military programs that diminish our overall safety.
Hitler or Stalin could run as the candidate for either party and the party loyalists would vote for them simply because “they could be worse, they could be a .
Don’t believe me, just see what all we know about the leading contenders by Nov. and who continues to support them.
