Presenting John McCain, the 2008 GOP nominee

For those who claimed Super Tuesday wouldn’t - and didn’t - produce a presidential nominee, we give you John McCain.

Mitt Romney, who was touted as the electable alternative to long-shot conservative contender Mike Huckabee, suspended his campaign today - all but guaranteeing that McCain will be the 2008 Republican presidential nominee.

Romney’s announcement came two days after Super Tuesday results boosted McCain’s already considerable advantage.

It’s a two-man race now, and things don’t look good for Huckabee, who won Georgia’s GOP primary Tuesday despite GOP party pressure to vote for the more electable Romney. McCain came in third in Georgia’s three-man race and the question now is whether McCain can win over Georgia Republicans in time for the general election

At the moment, McCain has a wide lead over Huckabee in the number of delegates won (707 to 195) and money raised ($41 million to $9 million).

And while it ain’t over ‘til it’s over, it would take a political miracle to see Huckabee accepting the nomination at this summer’s GOP convention in St. Paul, Minn.

McKain? Do we want 4 more years of Bush??? This war MUST end, NOT 50 more years in Iraq. The war has broken the back of the American economy. McKain? NEVER!

Today’s “Republicans” are fools. They don’t even know what they stand for. Small government, low taxes, lots of personal freedom? Not our Republicans! How about big brother, tax cuts for corporations, and spending, yes, lots of spending. That’s what today’s “Republican party” is all about.

There is one man who hasn’t lost his way. Like the idea of lower taxes? Ron Paul is ready to abolish the IRS, the Federal Reserve, and return our currency to a gold standard. How will our huge government function without our illegally collected income taxes? Simple, it won’t be a huge government - it will be a small, constitutionally limited government. I was a democrat, so I don’t know, am I sounding Republican here?

America became the most prosperous nation on Earth through low taxes and a limited government. Now, if we leave the current Republicans OR Democrats to continue on this failed course of action it’ll cost 40 bucks to buy a bottle of water.

Big government doesn’t work - the FDA can’t protect people from harmful food or drugs, Social Security is going to be broke soon, government managed healthcare is a disaster, FEMA - need I go on?

Ron Paul can save the GOP. Ron Paul will MOP THE FLOOR with either Hillary or Barak. But if he isn’t their choice then, ironically, the GOP will disappear just like the Whigs - the very party their fresh ideas challenged and were successful against.

If you love America and the Constitution it was founded on, you owe it to your soul to go check out Dr. Paul.

Ron Paul is a kook! He makes me dizzy with all that scholarly type speak. He puts me to sleep …. just like reading the declaration of independence puts me to sleep.

Go McCain! 100 years of war. Bring on the draft! Draft the illegals!

bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran! bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran!

Turn them there towel heads into a parking lot.

Yeah, cutting taxes is great. I love my 5% tax cut just like I love how my dollar has lost half its value due to the fiscal policies that McCain supports! Yay. I want more tax cuts and I want my dollar cut in half again. No, really, I’m not too stupid to know how I’m being played like a fiddle!

Way to go, evangelicals! You did it and now we have no representation for illegal immigration, economical rescue, and conservative values…. because you couldn’t vote for someone who says he’s a Christian just like you, but goes to a different church.

Best of luck! Maybe Huckabee can help you pray for the next 4 and a half years, because we are definitely going to need it now.

Thank God for John McCain. He is by far the only candidate in this Presidential race that is worthy of holding the office of the greatest country in the world. He’s Truthful, Strong, and Sensible. We need someone like John in power not a egotistical women like Clinton and her lying husband. How long would it take for Bill to invite Monica over for a late night cigar. Go Johnny, be Good.

Way to lie political insider, Ron Paul is still in the race. Not to mention the voting fraud in NY not sure if you knew this but there was a few places where Ron Paul’s name was no longer on the ballot maybe you should cover how American’s rights are already being taken away.

Thank you RpGamerX

Ru Paul’s number of delegates is truly amazing. Ru Paul’s message is obviously spreading like wild fire. Ru Paul will obviously get the nomination. Actually, I am just kidding. Ru Paul is a boob and those who continue to contribute to his failed effort are just as crazy as Ru Paul. Is it time for “I told you so”? Or do I have to wait for him to drop out.

Ron Paul is the only candidate who doesn’t stick his finger in the wind to tell the voters what they want to hear. Obama and Clinton, even McCain are kissing the behind of all the latinos in this country because they have become a voting bloc that is hard to ignore. These politicians are going to be the death of this country. Give away the farm, let anyone in, illegal or not, just vote for me!!! You won’t hear Ron Paul saying this.

Ru Paul is the only candidate in the race with under 100 delegates. Ru Paul is the only candidate in the race raising money for his congressional election and lying to his “national” supporters about it. Ru Pual is still a boob. He is, in fact, boobylicious.
