Romney launches last-minute, robo-call assaults on McCain, Huckabee
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
One of us lives in Cobb County, and is thus able to listen to much of the automated traffic that travels over Republican phone lines.
In Monday evening’s collection of answering machine messages are a pair of attacks on both John McCain and Mike Huckabee, paid for by the presidential campaign of Mitt Romney.
John McCain began the string over the weekend. We’ll go through the rest — who called Monday — one by one:
— Cindy McCain, wife of the candidate, called to reaffirm her husband’s earlier promise “to lead our nation and our party as a Ronald Reagan conservative.”
Her message: “As you may know, we have two children serving in the active duty military .”
— Then came the first Romney call. “Hello, James. This is Governor Mitt Romney.” We don’t know how he knew, but it got our attention.
The candidate said the White House needed “someone with the vision and the values and the experience to bring real conservative change to Washington.”
— Then came a call from Georgia Right to Life endorsing Mike Huckabee, who — the voice said — “has the strongest position on all the life issues of any of the remaining candidates for president.”
— Which was followed by a Romney attack on his principle rival:
“John McCain and Ted Kennedy wrote an amnesty bill. And McCain teamed with another liberal Democrat to write campaign finance reform.
“John McCain also joined with Democrats to vote against the Bush tax cuts. And listen to what Bill Clinton says about John McCain: ‘She and John McCain are very close. They always laugh that if they wind up being the nominees of their party, it would be the most civilized election in American history.’
“No wonder former Senate Republican leader Rick Santorum said — quote — John McCain was not only against us, but leading the charge on the other side.”
— But then Johnny Isakson called to reassure the family that McCain “will limit spending in Washington and eliminate pork in our federal budget.”
— The second attack by Romney followed, this time on Huckabee:
“Mike Huckabee raised taxes by $500 million and increased the sales tax by 37 percent. Huckabee pushed state-funded scholarships and tuition for illegal immigrants.
Mike Huckabee even criticized President Bush’s policies on the war on terror. That’s why conservative leaders [and radio talk show hosts] like Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham are supporting Mitt Romney for president.”
This is the heart of the message:
“Don’t split the conservative vote. Let’s stop the McCain moderates, and take back our party with a viable conservative candidate for president.”
— As we transcribed this, a Democrat in Atlanta called with a misplaced robo-call from Huckabee, who declared himself the candidate “for authenticity, conviction and proven leadership”
Said Huckabee: “I’ll never sacrifice our principles for anybody’s politics.” That, in case you have no ear for politics, was a clear shout-back at Romney.

Actions speak a thousand words. Talk is cheap. Look at the actions. Can anyone name one thing Obama has done for any US citizen (even in IL)?
A person who wants to claim presidency must present proper manner at minimum-in public (whether winner or loser). He/she must keep respect for others (referring to Obama’s attitude on Tue 1/29/08) during the State of the Union. If a person can’t keep respect because they can’t see eye to eye with a political opponent of the same party, can he/she face the head of another country that is in complete opposition to the U.S. policies or at war words with the U.S?
As I mentioned before, I’m not in politics. That’s still true. But, my personal and business experiences will conclude why I say you must read and listen to what I say. Just like you, I am a hard working person. But, I am also is involved in the financial lives of so may Americans (young and old) to improve their lifestyles, to include YOURS. So, let me explain a little about my background and experiences in order for you to understand my reasoning behind who we need as a president.
I’m a very analytic person with Computer and Electronic Engineering DegreeS. I also win cases in courts due to my analytical nature (against attorneys, and doing so without a law degree). However, you must know some things before you go to YOUR voting booth. My reasoning is long and supported by over 12 years of personal and business experience. Allow me to summarize.
I actually became a real-estate investor in 1990, but faced interest rates of 10.50% -11.75% (with excellent credit) during the Bush “the Father” years. As a result, I failed in 1992. I re-entered the real estate game in 1993 and in a matter of 4-5 years I was worth over 2 Million Dollars. Then, in 2005 and 06, as a result of massive financial stress (not at my fault-proof available), I had to sell everything and become poor again. I’m certain you’ve heard this before, “It’s the economy Stupid.” That’s why in 2006; I wrote my first book informing you “my friends” what to watch/look out for (what is coming your way)?
I’ve been managing money and credit for several for my clients on daily basis (over two years). As a result, I deal with the B.S. that I hear from all major creditors, collection agencies and government offices (these days). That’s why I’ve become very good at what I do. I apply the words, “Talk is Cheap.” Let’s see why I say this.
Every candidate talks about “Change.” Whether it is Obama, McCain, Clinton, etc. “Yes.” They are all correct. Each candidate wants to “change” the oval office sign to reflect his/her name. They all say the same thing using different words. However, which one of these candidates has actually shown what they have done thus far to benefit YOU. Hillary has been senator and held positions in high government office much longer than Obama. Hillary is also supported by one of the most successful Presidents (Bill Clinton) who turned around the shambled economy of Bush (the father) as well as the budget deficit into a surplus of over 1.5 Trillion Dollars, only to lose it ALL plus more, by Mr. Bush the son. While Pres. Clinton was in the office, the stock market- sky rocketed, companies became glorious and so on and son forth, only for it to be lost in 2-3 years after he left the office. Meanwhile, Hillary has actively supported people with health care, housing, and other issues throughout the years. Look at N.Y.
Let’s again look at this from a different prospective. I am a consumer advocate who deals with Corporate America, contacts Senators, Attorney Generals (A.G.) and District Attorneys (D.A.) offices all over the U.S. asking for help to protect the citizens of their states (especially senior citizens). Lisa Madigan (IL A.G.), two of the top DA ‘s around the Chicago counties, Mr. Obama’s office (IL Senator), as well as A.G.’s from FL, CA, GA and a couple of other states would not give me the time of the day to protect their own citizens. I don’t exaggerate. I hold records and some taped. Don’t forget, I am very good at what I do.
Lisa Madigan’s office (IL, A.G.) representatives dragged me for nearly one year just to turn around and feed me BS. As a result, I called Mr. Obama’s office TWICE, but never even received a call back. Is this the person you’re going to vote for? He is running for the highest office to protect ALL CITIZENS, but can’t even help his own state supporters. I feel sorry for the citizens of IL.
Moreover, have you listened to the debates between Obama, Edwards and Clinton? I listened to two (2) of them very attentively. In fact, I recorded the New Hampshire debate, and I viewed it twice between 12:05AM to 5:30 AM that night. While Hillary was discussing the same issues (her agenda), Edwards and Obama joined hands to repeatedly attack her. That wasn’t bad. The sad part was that neither Edwards nor Obama were able to complete their own individual sentences. By that I mean, Obama’s sentences were choppy and were being completed by Edwards and visa versa. That night/morning, I became confused as to the fact, does the country need two (2) persons to become ONE president? Since neither of the two gentlemen were able to complete his own sentences and needed the other person’s help, therefore, we must be in a desperate situation. Hillary was able to handle both.
Let me give you a couple of things I heard from people who were interested in Obama.
a. One senior citizen lady said, the country is not ready for a women president. Let’s see. How many of you ladies out there are the head of your household or at your jobs. I can name some very successful women CEOs and presidents of major corporation. Which one of the candidates has shown more care and done more for you while holding any office - other than Hillary? I am sorry to say to this nice old lady that she needs to leave the cave, and realize that the numbers of successful women around the world are increasing in numbers. That’s why the number of house-“husbands” is increasing, while the wives are working job-sites and making more money.
b. Another person said: “well with the propaganda around Clinton’s…” This person had just contradicted herself. She used the word “propaganda” then claims it to be true. People, when you talk with someone like me who was a college and university educator, author of two books, engineer and other garbage under my wing, give me something better than this, to persuade me why not Hillary!
How important IS your children/grandchildren’s education to you. Republicans repeatedly cut educational funds while claiming, “No child left behind,” Yet, I haven’t heard Mr. O’Bama talk anything about the second or third most important thing in our lives (our children - grandchildren and their education). On the other hand, Hillary has repeatedly and consistently raised the issue.
I can go on forever, but I hope I’ve made a point.
Again, do any of the candidates have the care and experiences Hillary offers? Have any of them done more for you, your family and friends than Hillary? Have any of them done anything for women around the U.S. besides Hillary?
If so, please let me know. Hopefully you can change my mind and get my supporters and clients vote for your candidate. But don’t contact me to feed me BS, because as you can see, I didn’t come from the back hills …
Among all candidates, no one has the experience Hillary has.
This presidency must be won by the most qualified candidate, not “race” or “false promises”.
As to the state A.G. offices, I have a long file. As a designer, computer engineer, programmer and a citizen advocate, I even rated their websites, on my website. Since I am not advertising, those who want to see the rating on my website, send me an e-mail and I will be glad to forward you my website address.
Thanks for your time. I hope you see what I see in your future.
Unless proven otherwise, my family and friends votes are going to benefit millions. <>

Please take the time to visit www.mikehuckabee.com and learn on your own where he stands. He truly is a voice for the people, he understands and has a message and a vision that will make America believe in itself once again as Ronald Reagan made us beieve in ourselves.
Mike Huckabee does not have the deep pockets of his opponents. He is not spending the millions on attack ads and his voice does not get through as easily as Mitt Romney’s who has the media by their purse strings (google Bain and Clear Channel). He has relied on grassroots efforts and on just fraction of the money spent by Mitt Romney has a pretty equal share of support across this nation.

Mitt Romney has a total of four wives. Ann was his first, but his other wives’ names are Helen, Esther, and Elizabeth. This is common knowledge in Massachussetts and Utah. Romney is also a high Mormon priest whose bizarre rituals include baptizing the dead and arranging polygamous marriages between dead people. Romney and the LDS Church are part of a conspiracy to rule America and then the world and force conversions to the bizarre cult of Mormonism. Do NOT succumb to the Romney Mormon mind-control tricks. True Christians will NOT vote for a man who is a cult member and leader who wears “secret” underwear and believes that Jesus lived in Utah.

I’m in Cobb and McCain started the calls on Friday and they’ve continued through today. So far, I am up to 11 calls.
I’ve had calls from Romney and Huckabee too.
By far, McCain’s “Urgent Alert” calls are the most mean-spirited. He savagely attacks Romney’s economic record and record on social issues. Romney’s calls mostly talk about either his positives or McCain’s record.
Huckabee’s calls talk about his own record.

10 + years as Governor-& RE-elected 3 times vs Romney’s one term…HMMM…Huckabee has spent 7 million to Romney’s 87 MILLION …HMMM…OF COURSE Romney wants him out of the race DUH because like it or not Governor Huckabee is an experienced giant killer! He is about to take Romney down! In Governor Huckabee we FINALLY have a candidate,- who after all of the verbal stumbles of the Bush presidency can ARTICULATE Republican principles with warmth, wit, & wisdom. Remember the giant killer only picked up 5 smooth stones…can those be called geogia, alabama, tennesee, AR, Missouri? We will see—-I sure hope so for our countries sake! If the republicans are smart and not stuck in their ways Huckabee SHOULD BE on the ticket in 08- but go aheaed and run someone without any charisma and see how bad you establichment know it all types get SMOKED by the demoncrats!!!

Will McCain Ever Pass 40 % Republican Support?
Is anyone else bothered that McCain’s being shoved down Republican’s throats as the “inevitable nominee” when he hasn’t even surpassed 40 percent support in any of the 8 Republican primaries? Romney, by contrast, received over 50 percent support in three states plus about 45 % support in Michigan.
Less than 5% of voters have had their say…and McCain and Romney are essentially neck-and-neck in total votes. How about we let Republicans select their nomine—I’d hate to end up with a candidate who inspires so little enthusiasm that he can’t even secure the support of 40% of the voters in any Republican primary.

The comment by Mitt the Polygamist is an absolute lie.
It’s McCain with more than one wife, not Romney.
McCain was married to a model who waited for him while he was in Vietnam. While he was away, she was in a tragic car accident which dramatically changed her appearence. When McCain returned home he was shocked by how she looked. He admits he began a series of affairs eventually divorcing her to marry another beautiful woman 18 years younger than him. It’s a very sad story and speaks volumes about his character.
People like to demonize Romney and make up lies about multiple wives but the truth is he’s a decent guy who’s stayed married to the same woman and has five wonderful sons that are all campaignig for him.
Mitt Romney would make a great President.

You didn’t get your guy so you trashed everybody else. The Republicans will not get those voters back in time for the primary election. Can you say G. Ford, B. Dole and H. Bush? Please be aware that you are not that smart. You just turned off the conservative base and their donations.

Dear Poster “Mitt the Polygamist,
First if you are going to make malicious and bigoted attacks on Mitt Romney’s character and religion I would hope that you would at least have the courage to place your real name to them. Only cowards make outlandish claims and hide behind fake names. Second I must condemn your lies regarding the Mormon faith. I have many friend who are Mormon and they are all very distinguished individuals. I have never heard them speak as disenchantingly about other religions. It is because of bigoted people like yourself, who seek only to try and cause hatred within our country, that I am voting for Mitt Romney. I also believe that he has a very sound grasp of how the economy works and that he truly cares about America’s well being. My final advice to you is to discontinue spreading hate and religious animosity. To simplify my post for you, just try and remember the golden rule. Jesus Loves You.

The Base is Beginning to Rally
In addition to many high profile talk show conservatives, many evangelical leaders are also rallying for Mitt and realizing that he is the best face to represent the party. Here are a few great examples of their thinking:
Reverend Rob Shenck: “After careful and prayerful consideration, I have concluded that an evangelical vote for Mike Huckabee is a vote for John McCain, and a vote for John McCain will be a disaster for this country. Let me explain. It’s clear to me and many others that Mike Huckabee is not broadening his appeal enough to win the primary.”
John Schroeder of Article 6 Blog: “The conservative voice in the Republican party is at stake - everybody agrees on that, and Evangelicals are the energy, motivator, and banner carrier for that voice. Conservatives lose and Evangelicals are on the bench, if they are in the stadium at all. In other words, we stand on the precipice I feared from the beginning. The current electoral calculus is such that a vote for Mitt Romney is the only way to preserve that voice.”
Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson: “Love of God, family and country are the most important values in my life. All are under attack in America as never before. I believe that Governor Romney, though not without flaws in his record, is a decent, highly capable man who believes in these same values.”

So let me get this straight. Instead of being a good, positive “conservative” (wink wink) Mitt is trashing other Republicans. Classy act there Mitt. Make sure you tell the voters you joined the NRA at the last minute and changed your mind supporting the Brady Bill. Make sure you tell them you changed your mind on opposing Bush tax cuts to supporting them and then claiming you always supported them. Make sure you tell them that most of the judicial nominees in MA you nominated were liberal to moderate. Also make sure you tell them that you single-handedly created gay marriage in MA by accepting the state court’s decision and taking his own initiative in creating same sex marriage forms thus setting policy. Mitt himself created gay marriage in MA. Mention endorsing a friend of Cindy Sheehan for mayor of Salt Lake City. Mention that in your next call.

Experience? Mike Huckabee has 10.5 years as Governor of Arkansas. That is more experience running a government than all the other candidates combined, democrat and republican.
Mike Huckabee balanced a budget every single year and turned a $200 million deficit into an $850 million surplus which ended up going back to the citizens of Arkansas as a tax cut.
During Huckabee’s term, he turned the 49th best schools into the 8th best. He turned one of the worst road systems into the most improved according to Trucker Magazine. He led his state in providing shelter for 75,000+ Katrina victims. The list goes on and on.
Principled Leadership!!!

Check my Top Ten Reasons for “supporting” McCain, the big phony:
He promises to catch Osama Bin Laden. Question is, if he does catch him, will he then fine him $3000, grant him amnesty, and give him a lifetime Z-Visa? Probably, but only if Ted Kennedy agrees to it.
McCain claims that he is the only real conservative because when he participated in a spelling bee in grade school, he was asked to spell that very word. McCain proudly remembers yelling out: “conservative, L-I-B-E-R-A-L “
He claims to know everything about the economy but won’t respond to any questions about it. That’s OK because he says that he can always hire managers.
The answer to every question he is asked in a debate, regardless of the topic, is “I’m strong on Iraq.” He says this simplifies things and then proudly claims that he is above answering any of these questions anyway because he (and any legislation he would propose) is the only answer to any problem that could ever arise in America.
The word Amnesty doesn’t exist in his vocabulary. Therefore, there can be no such thing as granting amnesty to anyone.
He claims that Ronald Reagan would strongly support him because, just as Al Gore invented the internet, McCain invented the conservative movement.
If he is elected, McCain promises to finally stop saying “listen, my friends” before responding to any question.
McCain acknowledges that he is no Jack LaLane, but states that his age shouldn’t matter because he will promise to get brain scans once a week, if elected.
McCain promises that he will continue to “reach out” to the most extreme liberal Democrats, like Feingold and Kennedy, so he doesn’t appear to be too conservative.
Finally, my favorite. Bill Clinton says that a Hillary/McCain contest would be the most civil in the history of the US. To prove Bill correct, McCain promises to hold hands with Hillary across the podiums every time they debate. Bill says that’s OK with him because he can go out and chase another fat chick while they’re debating.
Had enough?? Then vote for Romney!!!! Go MITT!!!!

Huckabee give tuition to children of illegal immigrants to attract more illegal immigrants. He will run down US economic with his ecnomic incompetence. The danger of US economic clasps will make US have no means to protect our border.Huckabee can not win, your support of him is handing the election to McCain who wants open border and have 20 million illegal immigrants stay in US permenently to take away social security, education and medical care from you.
Huckabee FREED 12 MURDERERS to kill another innocent and PARDONED 1200 CRIMINALS.
Huckabee is a slick talker, attacks others religion, raises taxes. There are 12 ethical charges filed against Huckabee.
Romney’s vision of using economic strength to combat terrorist and his Apollo plan for energy independence are also set him above all other candidates. — Hickabee’s most loony notion is to scrap income taxes and replace them with sales taxes at roughly 30% on everything. By ending graduated taxation, Wall Street zillionaires and heiresses would pay no income taxes while single parent moms or working poor would fork out 30% on everything they spend which usually represents everything they make. It’s not tax reform. It’s a 30% tax on poverty, bad economics and the opposite of real Judeo-Christian values.
Do you care? If so, you have until Tuesday evening to make your principled and patriotic voice heard. For after Tuesday, if Mike Huckabee succeeds in his self-serving quest to deny Mitt Romney the nomination, then it will be conservatives who will be placed at the back of the line…for years to come.
Poor Huckabee. In his rush to compromise himself, he has not stopped to do some basic math. Basic math that dictates that as soon as he is no longer useful to the McCain campaign, he will be cast off the “Straight Talk” express at the nearest ditch. Blinded by his desire for power, Huckabee has not realized that there is no rational, logical, or political reason, for McCain to pick him as his running mate. Once the nomination is secure, Huckabee will revert back to the kind of evangelical McCain denounced so loudly back in 2000.
Huckabee’s suicide pact can only succeed if conservatives hold his hand as he leaps off the cliff. For the next two days, all the power still rests with the conservative movement. Not with Mike Huckabee. Not with John McCain. Not with the New York Times. For the next thirty-six hours or so, you, the conservative voter, control your destiny.
How much do you really care about border security? How much do you really care about stopping the illegal invasion of our nation? How much do you really care about not letting the United States morph into the North American Union? How much do you really care about true conservatives being appointed to the Supreme Court? How much do you really care about permanent tax cuts?
The betting in the McCain-Huckabee-New York Times camp is that your conservative opinion has become irrelevant. That your opinion and your vote has been displaced by a coalition of liberal, Democrat, independent, and Hispanic votes that have been directed to the “Straight Talk” express by the far-left media.
Bill Clinton has recently talked about fairy tales. A popular fairy tale being floated by the mainstream media is that John McCain would be the toughest Republican for the Democrat nominee to defeat in November. While entertaining in some quarters, it is not true. When asked, every single Democrat powerbroker I have spoken with in Washington, has told me that they fear Romney in a general election. They feel his “reasoned” conservatism would strike a chord with a majority of voters concerned with economic and national security, as well as illegal immigration.
That said, with no hope for the nomination, and no hope to be picked as a running mate, Mike Huckabee continues his Machiavellian campaign to derail Romney. Why?
In concert with that campaign, pro-abortion, pro-amnesty, pro-tax hike, “Republicans” and editorial pages, rush to endorse John McCain. Why?
Simple. They believe that the conservative movement is fractured and that its voice is muted. They believe you no longer count.
You have until Tuesday evening to prove them wrong. If not, we will all pay a very steep price.

Romney is not a politician so he doesn’t have the slick delivery others do. But to me this is a positive. The politicians have messed things up…including McCain. We need a change and I think Romney’s the one. He can work with world leaders and will impress them instead of yelling at them with four-letter words like McCain.
Romney took no pay from Massachusetts and only $1 from the Olympics. He’s spending his own money on the race. I believe he wants this job not for power or money, but to be of service to our country. I support him.
Congratulations, Maine! Thanks for choosing a man with conservative values for America. Mitt Romney’s successful business experience, successful Olympic experience, and successful state governing success set him above all other candidates. His vision of using economic strength to combat terrorist and his Apollo plan for energy independence are also set him above all other candidates. He is a real leader who can lead American to build a strong economic and therefore a strong nation! Hope American people will elect Mitt Romney, the only competent candidate, to be our president.
How could any moderates and liberals backs war monger McCain. McCain wants to bomb Iran and stay in Iraq for 100 years and promised for more wars. McCain says he wants interest rates to be ZERO out of complete ignorance for how interest rates affect the economy. I’d like to see him say that to retirees on a fixed income. McCain want 10 million illegal immigrants to stay permanently and legal immigrants who can vote do not support it. How could this country be secure if he is in power??? If McCain is nominee, as a republican I would rather vote Clinton than McCain. As least we know Clinton has some intelligence and lead the booming economic. McCain will lead this country to a total ruin with his lack of intelligence and no executive experience. Mitt Romney is an expert in economics and finance and is the man we need as president.
If anyone can rescue the economy at this point, it would have to be Mitt. The US is $53 trillion in debt, that is $400K per household. The dollar is becoming useless and the Euro is now becoming the credible currency. Along with the national debt, most citizens are also deeply in debt. Tommorow the market is likely going to take a dump. If we don’t have a good economy you can forget foreign policy, fighting wars, or healthcare, funding for top education. The economy needs to be front and center, not religion, steriotypes and other trivial things.
It’s time to remind the public about the Keating 5. Here the banks are falling appart and the economy is going into recession and we want to reward a slime ball like McCain who was wrapped up with Charles Keating, the guy who tanked Lincoln Savings & Loan, driving a previous recession? Go figure. Given what this did to the economy in the early 90’s, McCain should have just taken a baseball bat to the knee caps of the American people. Mitt is too kind to this power hungry geriatric sellout! John McCain has allowed countless billions of American dollars to be siphoned out of this country into Mexico alongside the countless billions of taxpayer dollars spent on health care, education, welfare, crime and mortgage bailouts for illegal aliens. John McCain, in his support for illegal immigration, has allowed Al Qaeda terrorist to use Mexican drug smuggling tunnels to enter the United States and plot to attack Fort Huachuca in southern Arizona. This litany of positions contrary to conservatism and American interests could go on and on.

Let us look at McCain’s conservative credentials: -IMMIGRATION: he wrote the bill granting amnesty to illegal immigrants -SOCIAL SECURITY: he voted to give your social security money to illegal immigrants -TAXES: he voted against the Bush tax cuts multiple times -ENERGY TAX: wrote a bill imposing a massive tax on gas -PROFESSIONAL ETHICS: ringleader of the infamous Keating 5 ethical scandal which cost US tax payers $160 billion (Google it) -PERSONAL ETHICS: McCain cheated on his first wife after she had a severe accident that left her partially disabled. He then divorced her and married his multi-millionaire mistress, whose daddy bought McCain a spot in the Congress ROMENY 2008!!!!!

Thanks to Mitt taking matters into his own hands, he made same sex marriage official policy and then told people to enforce it. Do not believe me? Here are two sites to start with. Give us all a break! Romney has stated that he believes homosexuals should be allowed to serve as scoutmasters and refused to grant the Boy Scouts any public role in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Utah, contrary to previous, customary practice! He proposed to double the funding for the Governor’s Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth for the fiscal year (2006). He has appointed numerous left-leaning judges, including a 2005 district court appointment of a person who served on the Board of Directors of the Mass. Lesbian and Gay Bar Assoc. As governor, he pledged he would protect the current pro-choice status quo in Mass. and no law would change. In 2002, he refused to support a pro-posed “Protection of Marriage” amend- ment to the Mass. constitution. Basically, Romney has, as we all know, flipped and flopped his way through the years so HOW WOULD ANYONE TRUST HIS JUDGEMENT ON ANYTHING let along vote to elect this guy as our PRESIDENT???????

The former Arkansas governor earned his Huckster nickname as well as a great YouTube moment of shame when he challenged Romney’s support of the troop surge during ABC’s New Hampshire debate.
During the debate he attacked Romney with this boldfaced lie: “I supported the surge and you didn’t.”
The YouTube clip shows exactly how dishonest Huckabee is. Two weeks after Romney had issued a January 2007 press release supporting the surge; the Huckster does an interview deliberately distinguishing himself from other candidates by withholding support for the surge.
In the Jan. 24, 2007 interview on MSNBC’s “Live,” Norah O’Donnell asks:
“We have a Rudy Giuliani, who supports the president’s plan on Iraq. We have Governor Mitt Romney, who also supports a troop surge. How are you different from any of those candidates?”
Huckabee: “Well, I’m not sure that I support the troop surge, if that surge has to come from our Guard and Reserve troops, which have really been overly stretched.”

Hey “Mormons are DANGEROUS”,
The LDS (Mormons) Church discontinued polygamy back in 1890. Go here if you don’t believe me: [http://newsroom.lds.org/ldsnewsroom/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=2588eb644ad72110VgnVCM100000176f620aRCRD&vgnextchannel=3e0511154963d010VgnVCM1000004e94610aRCRD]
If you’re a believer in the US Constitution, Article 6 says there should be ‘no religious test for office’.

I would not vote for a Hare Krishna or Scientologist, and I certainly would not vote for a Mormon. They believe that God is a human being and that Jesus Christ was an American Indian. But even more important is that he is not a proven conservative. During his term as gov the tax burden in Mass went up. This tax increase hit hardest on the middle class. When he ran for Gov he ran on a platform of pro-abortion. Now that he is running for President he states he is for cutting taxes and that he is pro-life… What will be his next position?

Vote should be given to Hillary. I tell you why.
I listen to the debateS and news several hours a day. In fact in my office my TV is on on one of the three channels (Fox, CNN, CNBC).
To those of you that think “Obama” has any experience think again. How long has he held office.
He claims he did not vote for the Iraq war, because he was NOT holding a public office then.
Not until 2 weeks ago, did he have any plan. All he was talking about was “CHANGE” with no concept to back it up. Meanwhile, Hillary has been consistently talking about the same issues and plans (Healthcare, education, Mortg., children), etc.
When Obama FINALLY decided to have plans, he copy cat Hillary’s with some changes to include the $10 Billion when Hillary has been talking about $5 Bill.
I called his office well before election to get help for his own IL senior citizens, I got brushed off and ignored. I live in GA was trying to help his own supporters.
Show me ONE THING he has done for any citizen of the US.
and alot more.
So before you run your mouth telling me to take my medication, in fact, you must. I am in a great health and have been help a lot of Americans possibly to include your family memebers. Tell me how did/do you help your own family or friends. I talk about facts, while you blow smoke!

Let me explain it a bit differently by enumerating the reasons Hillary is the one you should vote for.
Why you should vote for Hillary?
Talk is cheap. Can anyone name one thing Obama has done even in IL?
I’m involved in the financial lives of so may Americans (Credit & money Management).
While Obama claims he did not vote for Iraq war, did anyone of you think with yourslef it was because he was NOT holding ANY PUBIC OFFICE.
Not until 2-3 weeks ago, all you would hear Obama say was “CHANGE” nothing else. No concet or facts to back it up. Meanwhile, Hillary was repeatedly talking about the same issues and cacts (Healthcare, education, children, etc).
FINALLY, when he decied to discuss his plans, he copy cat a good portion of it from Hiallry’s then he changed some (to include changing Hillary’s $5 Billion to his own $10 Bil).
How much experience does Obama have to compare with Hillary, Macian, Romney. For god’s sake he just took the senate seat a year and half ago.
Obama has no respect for the Flag, National Anthem, doesn’t know how to handle an opponent (State of Union). How can he deal with the head of other countries- in opposition to U.S.
As a consumer advocate, I call Attorney Generals, congress and Senator’s offices around the country to help senior Citizens. Guess what. I called Obama’s office TWICE to get help for IL seniors and also help with Lisa Madigan (IL-AG) office; his office never even returned my calls. I’m in GA, wanted to help his citizens and he wouldn’t even lift a finger to call.
Hillary has been a successful senator for 7 years, 8 years very active First Lady, Years ARK First Lady and has done a lot for women. Obama, 3 years Senator (That’s IT!!??).
Clinton years economy was great and even in AR, what changes did Obama make to even benefit IL?
Obama hasn’t said anything about Healthcare, Our Children’s health or education while Hillary has been on the subject the entire time.
I listen to NH and SC debate, it seems Obama needs Edwards to complete his sentences, plus haven’t heard any plan’s Obama’s has, beside “change.”
I can go on for ever. However, I hope I did educate some of you who blindly follow any FOOL just because he says we need **change.”“
Show me which candidate has experience, done more for you- your family and friends, and for women around the U.S. —-besides Hillary?
Among all candidates, Obama is the least experience one on the other hand Hillary has years fro AR to D.C.
This presidency must be won by the most qualified candidate, not “race” or “false promises”.
Unless proven otherwise, my family and friends votes are going to benefit millions.
