Suddenly, we have a Hillary Clinton pep rally

As expected, without John Edwards’ leavening presence, Wednesday’s gathering of Democrats at the Georgia World Congress Center became a Hillary Clinton rally.

At 8:30 p.m. or so, hundreds of Clinton supporters, who paid $25 each to get in, were led to the stage to surround the candidate, who seemed pleased at the reception. A smaller crowd of Barack Obama supporters, who also purchased cheap seats, were left to cheer from the rear of the auditorium.

But we came across a pair of Obama operatives who seemed quite satisfied with themselves despite the spectacle. They said they’d bagged quite a few Edwards supporters today, and would release a list of their captured quarry on Thursday.

If there was one thing that Obama and Clinton supporters could agree on Wednesday, it was the size and energy of the crowd at the Jefferson-Jackson Day dinner. More than 4,000.

Even more worrying to Republicans should be the racial make-up of the crowd. A good portion of crowd, perhaps more than a majority, were white. People who might have quietly voted for another party in other days.

Too much drama with Obama? Try Flowers, Wiley, Jones, Lewinsky, Whitewater, Travelgate, “Missing FBI Files”, Rose Law Firm Billing Records, Vince Foster’s “Suicide”, missing gifts from the White House, Vandalism of the White House during the “transfer of power” period ‘01 (Clinton staffers wrecked the West Wing as a “prank”) various and sundry other Chinese funny money scandals. I could go on. Glass houses, Jessica. Glass houses.

Let me remind you all… he Times reports that for three years Hsu has been carving out a place of political and financial influence by funneling hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions into Democratic Party coffers, much of the money earmarked for Sen. Hillary Clinton. He has earned the ranking of Hillraiser for pledging to raise at least $100,000 for her.

It’s too bad that Presidential candidates have a snuggle up to these backward hateful judgmental people. These are the same people that want to refuse gays the same rights to marriage that everyone else enjoys. Dare mention that laws once banned black-white marriage and they get all upset. It’s not the same thing they claim. But it is. It’s a discrimination based on socially and religiously driven hatreds. I won’t even get into their bigotry over illegal immigrants.

The Rethuglicons have forced this kind of greasy relationship with the religoNazis. The Rethuglicons pandered to these people’s theocratic agenda and captured a lot of votes that way. So now Democrats must rub elbows with them as well. It’s just a shame.

When you vote Rethuglicon, you vote against your own best interests. And having to kiss butt of the igioNazis are living proof.

Tonight marked the beginning of:

NO, to excessive corporate tax breaks and subsidies

YES, to UNIVERSAL health care, not just “expanded” health care, as BHO advertises

NO, to hard-headed “deciders” playing Risk and acting like they own the world

YES to middle class support instead of middle class destruction

NO to REPUBLICANS who gouge the American family, instead of supporting it

AND

NO to so-called democrats dressed in republican clothing. Obama is done for. He should just quit and re-enter the race but as a republican . He won’t win and his elitist supporters are wasting their money.

Go Hillary!

And to all the republicans and conservatives: it’s painful for you to watch this, isn’t it? Now, you know what it feels like! Ha Ha Ha!

Hillary, are should I say Billary is so fake! There’s nothing worse than a phony acting person. She’s not genuine at all. Ecspecially Bill “I didn’t inhale marijuana and I had no sexual relations” Clinton. They’re both made for each other. They’re both liars, and they’re both artificial. I never thought the Clinton’s would disgust me the way they have! Her and Bill are full of BS. It’s amazing the lengths they’ve gone through to try and disrupt Obama. Obama is the man! He’s clearly the best choice for office. Even if Obama doesn’t win the Democratic primary, there’s no one in hell I’m voting for Hillary! And please believe me, I’m not the only one feeling this way.

If you listen and think, Obama is a leader.

George Clooney “He possesses the one quality that you cannot teach and you can’t learn. … He is a leader. He walks into a room and you want to follow him somewhere, anywhere. And … I’ve only seen that a couple of times in my life.”

We are quoting George Clooney as the compass for support to Barack Hussein Obama.(Biggest LOL ever)Barack Hussein Obama just attacked Hillary that she would be a step back in the past, all this coming from the guy who has been using JFK and MLK from the past to get elected. Not once has Hillary likened herself to anyone else because she is strong and credible on her own merits.

He is such a hypocrite. The Clintons have tried to stay focused on the issues while Obama today continues picking a fight on Clinton by calling her a divisive and calculated figure. I know if Clinton says something back, then he would say he is the Clinton’s victim. What the hell!! I’m really tired of his message of change. He wanna change what? Change America in a bad way or a good way? There is really no specifics from him except that fancy word of change. I’m a young Democrat voter, but I don’t think Obama is a good leader for our country. Come on! Be realistic, Democrat voters!

I’m sorry - but Hillary just makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck. Every time I see her I want to B—ch slap her. I would have some sort of horrible, flammable, lethal adrenalin overdose if I had to look at her giving a State of the Union Address. Therefore, I must vote for Obama so that I don’t internally combust.

Hillary just su_ks.

Obama is one of the most inspiring guys I have ever seen. And I say that as a (former) Republican married, religious woman. 8 years of Bush (actually 12 total) has turned me into a lifelong Democrat. Bush has absolutely, and pretty much single handedly, destroyed the Republican Party. It will take decades for them to regain their influence.

At a time when our country is in peril there are far too many risks in electing a struggling newcomer like Obama. There is no time for learning the ropes or rookie mistakes. We need to elect someone who doesn’t have to learn on the job. We need a president who can immediately hit the ground running, and Hillary Clinton can do that. Hillary is ready for realistic change starting on day one, Hillary all the way!

Good for you Hillary. I know you won’t be an apprenticeship President, like Obama.

You have so many innovative ideas and you came to our small town and made us so excited and inspiried. We are going to see you at a huge rally in California friday and I can’t wait to be around so MANY MORE people supporting you. I love how you share your ideas with us in DETAILS, and we can visualize a realistic future.

I am proud of the progressive strides and open-mindedness that years of blood sweat and tears not to mention personal sacrifice, have awarded us. As happy as I am that Obama is a front-runner, I believe that we do not know him well enough to vote for him. Hillary is the better choice right now. Honor for the Principles of the Constitution and integrity in the choices made as we confront the conflicts before us to rectify this evil, are the order of the day. Aquagirl…just ‘cause y’er so nice I’m a gonna tell ya…ain’t the internets wunnerful with dictionary.com and all:

A “beard” is…

“One who serves to divert suspicion or attention from another.”

Hillary is Bill’s beard the same way Laura’s “Junior’s.”

Remember during the Lewinsky scandal (I know it’s hard to recall each specific one of the multitude) Hillary told us Bill had been molested and that was why he engaged in his inappropriate conduct? He hasn’t overcome what happened to him and still needs to “prove” he’s a “man” through immoral conduct with other women than his wife.

Why does she tolerate it? Is she a dysfunctional “doormat” with a horrible self image, or has she “overcome” the horrible self-image by conforming herself to an “alternate lifestyle”…accomodating Bill’s unhealed perversion and adultery?

Either way she is “shielding” Bill’s gross and serial immorality attempting to give the appearance to the dull or easily deluded or to those of similar dysfunction, that they have a legitimate marriage and are people worthy of respect when the exact opposite is true. Yet he’s a former POTUS and she has been installed as a senator from NY. How did they pull this off?

The same way George W. Bush, a known homosexual and draft-dodger managed to be made president and now has a “woman” willing to present herself to us as his “wife” when he is clearly consorting with at least one $200/hr male homosexual prostitute named James Guckert. Don’t take my word for it. Look it up the same way you could have looked up the definition of “beard.” Unless you’re posting here with some kind of limited device, your computer has the near infinitude of the Internet available direct to you. Use it and be a fully informed member of the enlightened Electorate. Our job is to clean up America. Getting rid of perverts, hypocrites, liars and their beards is a good first start. Come on along and make your ancestors proud. Let’s bequeath to our childrens’ children a better tomorrow. Let’s elect a man who has the appearance of grace, rectitude, and one who knows the ideals upon which Our Ancestors built this country.

I was there last night. The good news is, by the time the summer sun starts warming our faces again, the Democrats will all be on the same side. Some of us are disappointed that our fave already dropped out. Some will be disappointed when the nominee emerges from the two, others will be thrilled and energized. Either way, we will UNITE to win in November.

Unity: It’s a two-way street, and we’re going to march… side by side, arm in arm, to take America back.

I love Hillary and she should be our next President. Experience has always been the way to go. On the job training is not going to help our Nation. How is Obama going to run this great Nation when he going to stop every few minute and ask question, “Is This the Right way to do it”. Who needs the support of Kennedy and Kerry anyway. I guess Kerry forgot who supported him when he was running for President.(Clinton) maybe in four or eight more years from now Obama migh be ready to be our President but not righ now. Beside everyone is forgetting he is not a black man running for President he is a bi-racial black man running, did everyone forget his father was black but his mother is white. Lets get the fact right people. All the black and white that voted in South Carolina for Obama is going to get just what they deserve if Obama win the President another “Bush” who will drag them right back into the poor house. I say if Queen Elizabeth can run England with out all these problem we have here in the United States all these years why can’t Hillary run ours.

Obama was invited but did not attend - perhaps because John Lewis, who endoresed Hillary was being honored - another snub - an immature display by someone who claims to be The candidate to unite the people.

Hillary supporters present numbered in the 100’s and comprised of old, middle-aged, young (a 14 year old volunteer came straight from school and stayed through the rally), all races, sexual orientations, men and women. What we all have incommon was our strong believe that Hillary is the best candidate for President. She cares about our country, and its citizens. Why else would so many stand in the cold and wind for hours waving Hillary campaign signs? Why else would so many volunteer 8 - 10 hours of day to show support? Go Hillary!

In her address, she did not once make a negative statement about Obama. I was disappointed to come home to read that throughout the day, Obama spent his time making negative statements about her. Don’t tell us why we shouldn’t vote for Hillary, Obama. Tell us what you have to offer that would make us want to vote for you.

Obama just talks. He disappears when it is time to act on important issues, such as Iran vote in the Senate. Then he reappears to complain about others’ vote. At least Hillary acts on what she believes in, right or wrong. If she is wrong -as any human being- she goes on working on it until she makes it right. So, the answer is definitely Hillary!
