Obama goes up on TV in Georgia

They won’t give us the size of the buy, or say whether it’s broadcast, or simply cable, but Barack Obama’s operation is telling us this ad will go up statewide, beginning Thursday.

Others are telling the Obama campaign is making a modest entry into the state. The buy is $150,000 in Atlanta, $38,000 in Macon, and a smidgen in Columbus. Both the Obama and Hillary Clinton campaigns have been up in Augusta and Savannah for a couple weeks — because of their shared border with South Carolina.

The 30-second spot has something of an introductory feel, very much pointed at the Democratic center: middle-class tax cuts, troops out of Iraq, bipartisanship on health care, etc.

We’re 13 days from the Feb. 5 presidential primary, which makes this ad a tad early — unless it’s aimed at capturing absentee and early voters. Early voting starts Monday. Absentees are already being cast.

Hey “RNC E-MAIL ALERT”,

Does it really matter what his name is? Did you have any control over what your birth name was?

It really is sad that you are so partisan that you have to hide behind your subtle, but implied bigotry. Why don’t you just come right out and say that you are not voting for Barck Obama because you are racist and because his NAME is of Islamic descent. Quit trying to scare people because of a person’s birth name. It’s a NAME. It does not tell you anything about the actual person.

Obama IS an active Christian, NOT a Muslim. Obama is NOT related to Saddam Hussein.

Don’t listen to people who just want to use lies to personally smear candidates that they disagree with. Do your own research and think for yourselves.

Here is a link to factcheck.org, a website that exposes false claims levied against all candidates running, and debunks the Barack Obama (Muslim/Terrorist) RUMOR.

The RNC has to appeal to stupid bigotry and cheap shots… it’s all they have to work with.

And they DO know their audience. After all—these are the same gullible tools who voted for Bush!

Copyleft is a typical lib. All conservatives are racist, bigots, homophobes, and rich. Well, two can play that game. All libs hate America.

And then, there are the sensible Americans who love to watch you folks here argue about the democrat candidates, NOT ONE OF WHICH is any kind of a capable leader. NOT ONE!!! Its a precarious situation for America right now, and unfortunately, the past 40 years has about drained our country at the hands of democrat ‘programs’ which incurred GROSS OVERSPENDING! Its time to tighten the hatch and repair the vessel NOW! If we succomb to more ‘democracy’, we are surely doomed. STRIVE to be SMARTER than a demopublican and PRAY that we have a 3rd Independent choice on the national ballot! Ron Paul/Newt Gingrich 2008?
