The positive ad attack in South Carolina
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
If you want a good giggle, take a look at this newest John McCain spot that’s now running on South Carolina television. It consists of nothing but the kind words that Republican rival Mike Huckabee has said about him.

I am a Huckabee supporter. That is a good ad. I don’t think that it hurts either one of them. Could help both of them. Either way I like the add.

Before we take the SC vote too seriously, remember this is the same state that re-elected rapist Strom Thurman, molester Beverly Smith, sex addict John Jennette, and the same state that gave us character assassin “Lee” Harvey Atwater.

The Clinton campaign is stealing plays from Karl Rove: calling registered Democrats in S.C., telling voters that Obama fathered a black baby. When the Bush people did this to McCain eight years ago, McCain rolled over and continued smooching the Bush bootie, waiting patiently for his rightful turn. Will Obama do the same, or will he stand up and deny this allegation?

McCain is one hundred times the man that the Huckleberry is.
Not that that’s saying much. I’ve got turds in my toilet that are more of a man than that hillbilly Huckleberry.
Ghostwriter is right - SC has a long history of electing psychopaths and criminals - after all, trash elects trash.
Huckleberry will do very well in SC.

Why don’t you change the name of this column to “Political Inquirer”? It seems that many of the commentators want to tell everybody about the latest sex and civil misshaps of possible candidates.
Most of it isn’t true so why bother. Even “positive” ads are suspect. Oh well, let’s suggest “dirty politics” and make it interesting even if it is only lies.
