Clinton campaign rolls out its Georgia list of supporters
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
If your campaign has lost its inevitability cloak, and the other guy has picked it up, what do you do as the campaign heads South?
If you’re Hillary Clinton, you roll out your network of support. Fast.
The Clinton campaign just put out a list of 125 Democratic heavyweights in Georgia who have signed on.
From Hank Aaron — not a surprise since brother-in-law U.S. Rep. David Scott had already endorsed her — to younger African-Americans like state Rep. Billy Mitchell of Stone Mountain and Kwanza Hall, the Atlanta city council member.
Andrew Young does not appear on the list, but his brother Walter does. Some prominent names in Atlanta’s gay and lesbian community are also included. See the entire list on the jump.

“Clinton has already been endorsed by Rep. John Lewis, R-Georgia, a hero of the civil rights struggle. State Attorney General Thurbert Baker and Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond, the state’s only two black statewide elected officials, are also supporting Clinton.”
Such agile ship-jumping “rats.”

It’s not going to matter because once Obama wins New Hampshire, it’s all down hill. Do you really think that African-Americans here in Georgia will defy the odds & vote for Clinton, when you have possibly in the forst time in history that a black man has the chance to become the president of the United States? These endorsements mean absolutely nothing.

Most of these people I’ve never heard of and are listed as “community activists.” Does this mean none of them have a job?

The ultimate winner of either political party will be the candidate that promises to do the most for the voters. The real enemy of the state is our national debt of an estimated $50 Trillion if you include SS & Medicare (that equals $400,000 for every family in America). I have not heard one politician even mention the national debt.

It will be interesting to see how many hang on as Obama continues to win. Unfortunately for them, it doesn’t matter who they endorse. They won’t be able to convince everyday black people to vote against a viable, strong black candidate. In the words of Chris Rock, “they don’t want to be caught on the wrong side of history.”
I know many of the people on the list and there’s a lot of “patronage” and family splitting, hedging going on. Some of these people, like Timmi Silver and Charmagne Ward, have never meant anything to anybody. And I don’t remember the last time anybody asked Walter Young what he thought about anything. And Chris Edwards (friend of mine he is) will have trouble enough getting himself to the poll, let alone anybody else.
All in all, the list is long, but it’s as weak as my grandmother’s sweet tea.
Gimme Shirley Franklin, Roy Barnes and some of those people. Then I will say she has things locked up down here.

List ‘O’ LIBS. No Surprise there.
Will Hillary be the second black president after her sexual predator husband was the first? If Richardson gets it should he be called the First North Korean Pres.
Can Obama be considered the first black President? If Bill already has that title?
Paging some PC libs to help me sort this garbage out!!!!!!!
