Something new to worry about: Nunn says cyberspace will give us “the next Pearl Harbor”
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
High tech types are digesting some recent comments by Sam Nunn, who identified “cybersecurity” — or its lack — as “the next Pearl Harbor.”
Tech Insider at governmentexecutive.com quotes the former Georgia senator as saying that “we’re making as many problems as we’re solving in the area.”
“As vulnerabilities proliferate and hackers reverse-engineer patches released by vendors like Microsoft .that leaves government vulnerable and to some degree unaware of the impending danger, until an attack serves as a wakeup call,” Nunn said, according to the blog.
The item also notes that Nunn shed no further light on his potential run for the White House, “saying only that if it did happen, he’d run as an Independent candidate.”

Sam Nunn running as an independent candidate for President would be a real Christmas present to the country and he would have my vote and support. Our country is in deep trouble and needs someone of his calibur to get us back on track. The bunch of clowns currently running for President in both parties are nothing but special interest panderers who wouldn’t know the truth if it bit them in the you know where! We need an FDR or a Ronald Reagan type to give us back our pride and our guts. For god sakes Sam…run…run..run! This country needs your expertise to survive!

Sam’s THE MAN! He has the STATURE, EXPERIENCE, INTELLIGENCE, WISDOM, and MODERATION to be President of the U.S. I’d vote for a Sam Nunn-Chuck Hagel ticket, hands-down over any of the other canned, pre-packaged, focus-grouped, gutless Republican or Democratic pygmies. NUNN BETTER man in my book!!

I think most Democrat voters will be uncomfortable with Nunn’s conservatism. I doubt the wacko base would ever support someone like Nunn.

Ru Paul is not conservative. He is a libertarian. There is a difference. His has no chance of winning.

Most conservatives agree that the stammering, stuttering joke, Ron Paul, will never be President.

If Sam Nunn had any intelligence, courage, or independence he would position himself as a leader with the awareness and plan to divest Our Nation of the traitorous and false elite now in power. Eighty percent of us know Bush/Cheney committed 9-11. The other twenty percent are either too stupid to admit it or making money off it. We neither need nor can tolerate another CFR stooge in high office. Rome and Rockefeller must be expropriated and expunged from Our Land. Obama is the only one with the grace and guts to even allude to the BIG LIE.

Will, as a conservative, I ask you not to mention Sam Nunn in your crazy, run-on, incoherent garbage. I respect Sam Nunn, as many conservatives do. Believe it or not, even some democrats should be spared your endorsement.

Earlier, Will Jones, I stopped reading after I saw that you mentioned Sam Nunn . Ditto my earlier post about Nunn for Obama. Don’t mention Obama either. Your endorsement hurts the candidate that you attempt to tout. Now, Pope good. Bush good. Carry on.
