DEL.ICIO.USNorwood VA center now official
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
President Bush made it official Thursday. The VA center in Augusta is now the “Charlie Norwood Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center.”
Norwood, the former congressman from Augusta for 12 years, died last February after a long fight with an incurable lung disease and cancer.
Following the president’s signing, Georgia senators Saxby Chambliss and Johnny Isakson praised Norwood “unceasing passion and integrity” and for being “so diligent in his efforts to ensure that the treatment and services we give our veterans are equal to the sacrifice they have made for our country.”

it is truly disgusting to name a Federal government building after a scumbag like Charlie “KKKracker” Norwood.

Why should a VA medical center be named for a politician? Why not for one of Georgia’s Medal of Honor winners? I guess that decision was made by our two “veteran”??? senators.

The treatment and services we give our veterans are NEVER going to equal the sacrifice they have made for Our Country. This is the truth of the measure of those willing to lay their own lives down for America. The ONLY thing any politician can EVER do to equal Veterans’ sacrifice is to guarantee Righteousness in governance through adherence to personal probity obedience to Our Mottoes, and defense of The Constitution and the Rights of the People…and dodgers Chambliss and Isakson, bringing up the draft-dodging, 9-11-for-false-war-traitor, Closet-Queen-in-Chief’s rear, don’t have it in them. They’re with the White House’s Social Entrance maven, $200/hr homosexual prostitute, James Guckert: with Bush - the Anti-Christ’s most obvious manifestation since his father killed John Kennedy and Dr. King and his grandfather financed the rise of Hitler for America’s Fifth Column and Rome. Mr. Jefferson, Our Founder and Prophet, said it long before it happened. Cross him and you’re crossing the Creator and are cursed.
Please G-d, help Our People turn away from the Anti-Christ of which your Prophet Thomas Jefferson warned. Please grant us the grace to lift up Our Nation once more and to cast into the pit the ravening wolves and false princes now leading us to destruction.
