Georgia drought hits D.C.

Georgia’s unprecedented drought arrives on Capitol Hill today.

Well, not the drought itself. This is Congress; they have all the free water they want.

Rather, Rep. John Linder (R-Ga.) and Rep. Phil Gingrey (R-Ga.) are holding separate meetings today on Capitol Hill to talk about ways to resolve the water-sharing dispute between Georgia, Alabama and Florida.

Linder is holding a hearing on a bill he introduced last January to form the federal “21st Century Water Commission” to oversee water resources nationwide.

The five-member commission would investigate exactly how states and localities are using water to ensure “an adequate and dependable water supply to meet U.S. needs for the next 50 years.”

In addition to Linder, Georgians appearing at the hearing include Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin and water expert Aris Georgakakos from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Gingrey, meanwhile, will be part of a roundtable discussion on the tri-state issue. The discussion will include congressmen from all three states and representatives of the Army Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

If hot air can be converted to rain, they may actually resolve this whole thing.

Why are we being cursed with this drought? Atlanta, home of Dr. King, can not keep silent, as a blessed community, while Our Nation is flagrantly usurped by the patently obvious Anti-Christ.

We’ve been told and everyone here knows Bush did 9-11. The scrupulous, conscientious scholarship proving his treason, has been done by a man of unimpeached integrity. Anyone lacking analytical skill, access to Google Video or Youtube.com, or a common sense historical perspective consistent with that of Our Founding Fathers’ can read “The New Pearl Harbor” by Emeritus Professor David Ray Griffin, PhD, to know the unvarnished truth of 9-11…which, of course, was the deviant basis for the lies employed to shed our blood, and that of hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of innocents in false war.

G-d’s potential “New Jerusalem:” Atlanta, Georgia, is “playing chicken” with G-d.

Hang Bush and Cheney, et al, and the rain will come, by G-d’s grace.

gingrich and linder are spoiled, thinking that their constituents will always support them. just b/c they supported them in years past doesn’t mean their citizens will accept their hairbrained ideas forever. vote them out and get someone with a mind for leadership and smart common sense. while the rest of georgia suffers, they’re playing golf on a rich country club golf course watered with ALL the water they want. sure, it’s recylced water, but why not help out spreading the technology and wealth around to their constituents?

Macon’s new Mayor Elect & Governor Perdue-aka Cousin Sonny started the post election morning off with kegs of imported Sake to help do our part against the drought, even though we don’t have a water shortage yet.

And when the “used to be Macon” Telegraph’s questionably finest reporter Travis Fain asked James Carville if he had ever heard of a 96% landslide vote, Cusseta, Georgia born Carville said, “only in the Soviet Union.” You can see the interviews live at the “utbm” Telegraph and on Lucid Idiocy.

You’ll never be the same. There is something in the water down here.

Congrats to citizens of Macon. I lived in Macon pre-Ellis and we have great friends there now. Macon has been left in a financial mess, race relations are worse now than before and , C. Jack Ellis is responsible for most of it. Maconites, hold your heads high your long dark winter in over.

According to Buddhism, when your leaders are bad, you get droughts.

“If, indeed, a king is unrighteous, the sky (deva) sends rain out of season, and does not send rain in season. Fear of famine, fear of disease, fear of sword—these three fears are suffered.” — Manicora Jataka (Fausboll, Jataka, no. 194, II, p. 124)

Bush is certainly not a good leader—and he may yet prove to be the worst president yet.

I been saying this stuff for years. Everything bad is Bush’s fault. I got a flat on my Hybrid this AM. Guess who I blame for that. Bush is wrecking this entire world.

The first commenter asked why there is this curse of drought, and then went on to suggest murdering three men as a solution. Well - Jesus Himself did say that “the love of many would wax cold” in the last days.

Perhaps, chee, you should look to yourself and question your own rather murderous attitude, instead of trying to blame others for drought. You are breaking the #1 commandment of Jesus and advocating what He despised and yet you seem to be claiming to be His follower? Perhaps it is people like you - who make claims of being faithful to God - who increase the risk of calamities like drought. The bible has accounts of populations bringing wrath on themselves - it isn’t always “the leader is bad”.

Moral cowards, perverters of justice, admitted fascists and traitors aside, those strong enough in their integrity and citizenship should reference “The New Pearl Harbor” to know beyond any reasonable doubt that Bush and Cheney, in fact, committed 9-11.

The America our ancestors gave their lives to establish must be ruled by Truth and Righteousness.

Traitors and proponents of Treason must be identified and brought to justice to establish Justice in The Land, protecting the Constitution and The People.

Bush and Cheney committed 9-11 and false war. They are, therefore, Traitors. Any attempt to shield known, proven traitors is Misprision of Treason under the U.S. Code.

Hanging accused, tried, proven and convicted traitors is justice in a righteous land…it is not murder.

Unwillingness to confront proven evil bodes nothing but ill for individuals, nations, and most particularly, America.

G-d is not mocked.

Is this what passes for commentary in your cracker state? Sheesh. No wonder y’all are suffering. Meanwhile, the productive part of the US is getting ready to prop up your welfare state some more. I have no doubt you mouthbreathers will continue to water your lawns right up to the last drop, and then FEMA will have to come in and save your asses. I guess it’s worth it if it keeps idiots like Will Jones from moving up here to the civilized part of the world.
