Former Georgia Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, who gained national renown as the African American woman who hit a white Capitol Hill cop, has found a new cause: Leading “a crusade against police brutality in the African American Community.”

No one can dispute that the cause is a serious one. The 5-day national protest, dubbed “Cease Fire: Stop Police Brutality,” begins Nov. 21, the anniversary of last year’s killing of 92-year-old Kathryn Johnson by Atlanta police.
But we just can’t resist the twist of an accused cop-hitter leading the charge against cops hitting.
The officer involved in the altercation in April 2006 tried to stop McKinney, a Dekalb Democrat, from going around a security checkpoint because he did not recognize her as a member of Congress. McKinney said he did it because she is “a female black congresswoman.”
The uproar was immediate within the Capitol and around the country and while a grand jury decided not to indict McKinney for hitting a police officer, the incident cost her her congressional seat for a second time in 2006.
McKinney is now a Green Party candidate for president.

No matter what she gets involved in, her mere participation instantly discredits the cause.
If she expects anyone of any intelligence or common sense (and I realize that both are in direly short supply among her supporters) to seriously pay attention to anything she says or does, she is sadly mistaken.

I was under the impression that she has long been a supporter of police brutality. I seem to remember that she beat up a cop in DC a couple of years ago.

Maybe we can get her to go to DC and beat the hell outta Bush and Cheney!!!!! I’d pay cash for that one! All in all, she’s no worse than most of the rest, esp. the head turd, Bush!

How about her leading a crusade against black brutality against the African American community? The newspaper is full of home invasion robberies, a New Orleans gang committing nine murders, gang shootings, rappers arrested for gun violations, etc. etc.

I saw on the national news last night that England had permanently expelled and banned the latest thug rapper to visit, after his “posse” got into a fight with the police at Heathrow (come on, the British are so darned polite, you have to be a total *ss to start a fight with the Bobbies).
That got me to thinking that the British are really on to something — why can’t we do that here in the US? That oughta make Cynthia go ballistic, and keep her occupied for a while.

Any help our sickening problem of rampant police brutality and perjury is welcomed.
Nothing like two bit blue eyed, white american garbage telling people of color, and usually poor whites, how they deserved to have the crap beaten out of them, falsely charged, and falsely convicted for their outrageous attitude problem, that is the gall to assert some human dignity vis-a-vis a thug behind the (usually) white badge.

99.9% of all cops are heroic and true servants of civil society. When they do screw up, they get caught and punished. I salute our Law Enforcement. They protect us from the worst of us and McKinney, with her crazy eyes and colossal ignorance is one of the worst of the worst. This woman should be shunned in any state and town that she travels. I mean shunned in the dark ages sense. People should turn their backs and walk away from her and her group of thugs. Why would any whiny group of activists want her in their corner?
