Earlier this week, we gave you a first look at the third-quarter campaign finance reports by four candidates for the U.S. Senate.
It was a cursory summary. Much more scrutiny is required. We’ll get around to it, but not immediately. Instead, we’re giving you first crack at it.
While you’re watching the Rockies crush the Boston Red Sox, as you’re obligated to do — given your residence in a National League city — take a gander through the reports filed by Republican incumbent Saxby Chambliss, and Democrats Dale Cardwell, Vernon Jones and Rand Knight.
This is serious stuff. Chambliss’ report alone is 461 pages.
Let us know if you see any patterns, or anything at all curious. If you choose to post anything, remember this: Facts matter. Stick to them.

I think it shows the state of the Democratic Party in Georgia. The Republican candidate for the 13th district (who by the way has no prayer in winning) has outraised all of the Statewide Democratic candidates for Senate. http://www.peachpundit.com/2007/10/24/how-do-you-raise-707718-have-nothing-to-show-for-it/
Even as the national party improves and looks to be in position to gain on Congressional majorities all of the big name Georgia Dems (Barnes, Cox, Taylor, Marshall, Franklin) took a pass on this race. I just can’t understand it.

Add the cash on hand for all 3 democrats together and Saxby has 10 times the cash they have.

Seems to be a lot of people in the construction trade in Jones report. There’s a surprise… the DeKalb County development department under Jones is CORRUPT!!!
Jones senate candidacy is a BIG JOKE!!!! The Democratic party of GA is a JOKE!!! Oh, and I am a Democrat 100% but the party in this state is a MESS a JOKE and has no hope… ZERO!!!
