Keep moving, people. No SCHIP news here. Nothing to look at.

To the surprise of no one, President Bush on Wednesday morning vetoed congressional Democrats’ plans to add $35 billion to a program — known in Georgia as PeachCare — designed to provide health insurance to the children of the working poor.

Bush killed the measure without fanfare, inside a closed room with no media in attendance. Bush wanted to add only $5 billion to the program over the next five years.

The president had repeatedly vowed over the past few months to veto the Democratic funding bill for the State Children’s Health Insurance Program, or SCHIP. But Democrats rammed the measure through Congress any way, hoping to score political points in next year’s election against Republicans who opposed the measure.

Democrats say the expanded funding would help provide insurance to millions of children from low-income families who make too much to enroll in Medicaid and too little to afford private insurance.

Bush and congressional Republicans who backed him — including all Georgia Republicans — say the expansion is a first step toward socialized medicine and would prompt people to drop private insurance they already have to enroll in the government program. U.S. Rep. Jim Marshall, a Macon Democrat, also voted against it.

Democrats have enough Republican votes in the Senate to override Bush’s veto, but not in the House. Democratic leaders said they’ll delay taking an override vote, possibly for weeks, hoping enough House Republicans feel pressured by constituents and governors to vote for the expansion of a widely popular, largely successful program.

I am glad he vetoed the bill.

Now our empress Hilary will be swept into office and right the many wrongs of neo cons and the whacko religious right.

Hilary should have these items on her “to do list” when she is sworn in:

  • Decrminalize pot/extacsy.

  • Legalize gay marriage/unions.

  • Amnesty for illegals in the US now, and shut down the borders.

  • Roll back mandatory minimums for prison sentences.

  • Have at least 1 or 2 openly gay/lesbian cabinet members.

Screw the children of working families. So what that parents still have to pay when on SCHIP? Let the kids go without healthcare. Let them clog up all the emergency rooms. Let them go on welfare.

We all know that George “Let Them Eat Cake” Bush. Is the worst president in the history of America. And now it’s clear that he is a despicable, and terrible human being, and person too. I hope the war crimes tribunal will issue an arrest warrant for him soon. So we can get him out of here. I know the US military is sick of him. And will be glad to hand him over to the world court.

For the first time in the history of America. The life expectancy of American children is less than that of their parents. Catastrophic. And this stupid man. Vetoed the children’s health care. Because it might cost the insurance companies some profits. This has got to be the most stupid corrupt act ever committed by a US president in history.

George Bush is a murderer of American children for profit. I hope God gets him good. And I hope that the American people see to it that his name is reviled for all of history.

“…in America the law is king.” Our Constitution requires that George Bush hang for treason - sad for Our Nation, but true. He and Cheney committed 9/11. Study, and pray on, the matter. The THREE WTC towers were dropped by controlled demolition and they lied us into false war. We the People must meet the test in obedience to Our Motto: Annuit Coeptis. The punishment is just.

Apparently Pres. Bush has decided that eight years of Republican leadership is enough and it’s time to hand the oval office to the Democrats. Sad to think that he believes health care for poor kids is a partisan issue! Kudos to Senator Gordon Smith (R-Oregon)for providing leadership on SCHIP funding. I hope he can help muster the twelve votes needed in the house to override the President’s veto.

The health of Our Nation requires that Justice be done. Hillary, who shares in the shame brought upon us by her whitetrash “husband,” is the “Good Cop” to Bush’s “Bad Cop.” Either way Rome and the Rockefeller Pyramid win - Mena, NAFTA, Waco, 9/11, Dubai…the beat goes on. The next president must be chosen by The People not the false-elite. “Ford/Nixon” pardon is not an option. Bush and Cheney must hang.

He vetoed a bad bill - the democrats are the heartless cynical ones. They could have simply expanded the funding and got it passed, but they want to cover illegal aliens. WRONG. He vetoed a bad bill.
