Larry Craig and Michael Vick: Far fewer than six degrees of separation
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
This from an Associated Press report today on U.S. Sen. Larry Craig of Idaho reconsidering his resignation:
“Craig has hired a high-powered crisis management team including Billy Martin, the lawyer for Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick in his dogfighting case, and Washington attorney Stan Brand, a former general counsel to the U.S. House.
“Martin is looking into the Minnesota guilty plea; Brand, who represented Major League Baseball in the congressional investigation into steroid use, will handle any Senate Ethics Committee probe.”

What about Barney Frank? Should he resign?

Why would he? Frank hasn’t done anything wrong, or even dishonest.
It’s only Republican gays who insist on being closeted and then commit criminal acts in response to their suppressed urges.

If Senator Craig can get his guilty plea purged, then every other person, at least in the state of Minnesota if not nationally, who has been charged with the same activities in public restrooms should have the same option. Not that the behavior is appropriate, but there’s no reason this guy should be treated any differently than everyone else. He plead guilty TWO MONTHS after his arrest. He knew exactly what he was doing in making that plea.

Mr. Right, I believe you are wrong.
While Congressman Frank did have a prostitute living in his home, admittedly not a very wise move, he apparently didn’t know that the man was “working” from the home while he wasn’t there. Where I think you are wrong is in your charge that Mr. Frank was having sex with a 16 year old boy. Can you offer some type of evidence (i.e. news reports) about that because I can find none. It appears you either made it up, or have Mr. Frank confused with Ohio Republican Donald Lukens, who was convicted of having sex with a 16-year-old girl at about the same time Mr. Frank ran into his troubles.

Also…Mr. “Right”, Mr. Frank was never charged with “running a f* prostitution ring.” I believe that’s another distortion of facts in your post. Do you really think that no one will call you out when you make up this crap?

I believe pointing out Mr. Right’s lies IS useful commentary.
Barney Frank, an openly gay member of Congress, has done nothing wrong, no matter how much individuals may hate and fear gays.
Larry Craig, on the other hand, is a liar and a felon. And a Republican… but that seems kinda redundant to point out, doesn’t it?

Johnny America, I stand by my very useful commentary. I pointed out Mr. Right’s lies and/or distortions. What is your useful commentary? Or are you just able to make juvenile weiner jokes? If you have something to say that is based on FACTS (as I did) then have at it.

WTF, the point is that Barney Frank was guilty of much greater crimes than a little foot shuffling in the mens room.
Craig is a hommo and possibly a child molester as they are closely connected. His denial and keeping it secret suggests that he is a molester.
Frank on the other hand is an open pole smoker who got away with his crimes because the democrats have no ethics. They are no different than the Stalinists and the Nazis, just haven’t consolidated their power, yet.

Oh give me a break Johnny America! You’ve got to be kidding? Any person with half a brain knows not to believe the LIE that homosexuals are child molesters. According to the American Psychological Association: “Another myth about homosexuality is the mistaken belief that gay men have more of a tendency than heterosexual men to sexually molest children. There is no evidence to suggest that homosexuals molest children.”
You may be interested/enlightened to read the following report:
http://psychology.ucdavis.edu/rainbow/html/facts_molestation.html
And please don’t embarrass yourself by responding with some nonsense about the American Psychological Association not being reputable.
With regard to your statement about Barney Frank’s “crime”, unless I’m mistaken he was never convicted of a crime. He had charges brought against him by the Ethics Committee for foolish behavior but he did not plead guilty nor was he found guilty by a court of law of committing a crime.
With regard to your comment that Craig’s actions “suggest that he is a molester” I’d be curious how you reached that dubious conclusion. The officer who arrested him was surely an adult?
I asked you for FACTS and all you provided were poor examples of your ignorance about human sexuality.

I think Johnny America is on to something. Craig never said he wasn’t a molester…just not gay. Maybe he thought it was a little kid in the next stall.

Johnny America, thanks for the compliment. I’ll take being called an “intellectual” over being a moronic rube any day!
And yes, I know that homosexuality was classified as a disorder as late as the 1960s. I also know that some people today still fervently believe in Big Foot, UFOs, and the Loch Ness Monster. The AMA today states: “In 1973 the American Psychiatric Association removed homosexuality from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. Subsequently homosexuality was recognised as a form of sexual orientation or expression rather than a mental illness.” The President of the AMA has stated, “…the American Psychiatric Association (APA) does not define homosexuality as an illness or disease, and current mainstream medical practice recognizes and incorporates the APA’s expertise on this question.” You can say that this move was because of some “PC gibberish” if you like, but you’re fighting a losing battle. But perhaps you can share with us your credentials that would confirm your participation in, or inside knowlede of, the AMAs decision to reclassify homosexuality.
And by the way, it’s common knowledge that those who shout the loudest about homosexuality being wrong are often closet cases, so I’d probably take it down a notch if I were you unless you want someone on here to get the wrong idea about you.

No, Craig didn’t say he isn’t a molester. He also didn’t say he’s not an alien, a leprechaun or a unicorn but that doesn’t mean he is one.

Are you offering? You could tell me how to do it since it sounds like you have some experience.
I chose to ignore the “drone” part just like you choose to ignore facts you don’t like.

By the way, Mr. Lies, Child Molestation is a crime that is committed by heterosexual men. Being that less then 10% of the pop is homosexual and 75% of the pop has had some sort of sexual abuse before the age of 18. Either f* are working over time to touch little boys and girl or you are completely and utterly wrong. Occum’s razor declares you wrong, wrong, wrong.

For all of those who advently deny homosexuality to be a disorder…. think about what a “disorder” even is. Clearly homosexuality could fit into many peoples definition of disorder, just as depression or schitzophrania fall under the same category. This doesnt make being gay any better or worse, its just a matter of accepting the fact that being gay is not a NORMAL human trait, rather a bio-environmental mutation in some aspect of hormonal and/or neurological processes that clearly isnt a good thing. This is not to say that those whom are gay should be judged as being bad people, just as those who are depressed or have only one arm should not be judged. But to try and portray homosexuality as JUST AS naturally HUMAN as heterosexuality… well good luck with that. If everyone were gay, we wouldnt reproduce… the human race would end, and all the defenders of gay would shut their mouths.

Goodness gracious Johnny its 2007 for cryin’ out loud. Its ok to be yourself.
The American Psychological Association has done studies on people like you that are afraid to come out.
You have used numerous names on this blog to bash gays. You are real easy to spot. (Your spelling mistakes give you away.) Its obvious.
Please see a therapist.
Come out.
