Because you can never have too much Cynthia McKinney in your diet
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
You can scratch Cynthia McKinney from the Barack Obama bandwagon.
In Pennsylvania, the former Georgia congresswoman said Tuesday that black voters should consider voting for third-party candidates, according to this Associated Press report.
Said the AP:
Speaking to a sparsely attended Green Party gathering, the Georgia Democrat railed at her party and said black voters should not automatically vote Democratic, as an overwhelming majority now do.
“We have to be willing to do something that we’ve never done before so that we can get some things we’ve never had before,” said McKinney, who is black.
Now, don’t take this wrong — but she sounds a little bit like Herman Cain.

Wow! That’s real smart — vote for any jackass or hound, as long as they’re deocrat. Voters screw up government. They create and get what they vote for.

Former Congresswoman is still celebrated by fringe militant groups and blacker-than-thou minions who usually do not vote at all. She should ask them to vote republican so at least there will be legitimate elected officials they can access. Green Party and Libertarian Party have great ideas but no viable constituencies at large.
Universal support for Senator Obama is competing with proven black support for the first black president’s spouse. The danger is the blind love for Clintonism amongst blacks. McKinney is barking up the right tree but the black squirrel of partisanship may have alraedy lighted upon the false hope of clinton’s chestnuts.

To have what I never had before…ummm OK…. so what did you say was the reason to vote 3rd party?….I do have a question, with the electoral college being the primary voter in presidential elections……what weight does voting truly have on the results?

per Chris commit - its funny because my whole life I’ve always seen poor whites - never poor blacks. My family and friends of my family has always employed the poor whites and provided for them. To this day, I still belive there are far more poor whites having babies and benefiting from the welfare system then blacks.

The colors of the USA flag will not change neither will small minds. The USA will need some one who stands for an excellent quality of life for all of america and better life for all of our children. The only requirement is that hidden agendas be left out of the equation. Don’t walk around color blind and don’t walk around with your eyes open shut. The right choice is based on a better today and tomorrow……with LUV for all people

While I agree that Cynthia M. could in fact be an anchor around the leg of Obama, it is people like Chris that continue to allow this country to be in the shape that it is in. Negativity/backlash/poor government are not things that effect one party versus another. Nor do they only affect one race and not another. If the country goes down the tubes, it goes down for all of us. Black, white, employed, unemployed and the like. The time has come that partison politics is not only not the answer, it just doesn’t work. Our current example of governmnet doesn’t work here and it doesn’t work on the other side of the world either. We have been conditioned to “hate” the French, however their brand of government does work for the people, unlike ours. Cast aside having to be demo or republican and decide to be an American and want what s best for the country as a whole.

CHRIS SAYS “SHOOT OBAMA”. WE KNOW WHAT COLOR SHEETS YOU HAVE IN YOUR CLOSET. AND BEFORE YOU MAKE NEGATIVE COMMENTS ABOUT BLACK PEOPLE DON’T FORGET: YOU RAPE YOUR CHILDREN, KILL YOU WIVES, STEAL, ABUSE DRUGS, AND DO MORE EVIL THINGS THAN ANY RACE ON THE PLANET. IT WOULD BE THE BEST THING IF YOU WOULD JUST SHOOT YOURSELF IN THE MOUTH.

LOL! Chris comments are really funny b/c I’m 27 years old and have TWO properties that I OWN!!! Never been on any gvmt programs and didn’t apply for any. It wasn’t an option for me..period!!! I am a single, black ,degreed mom and I bought my first home at 24 when two WHITE men lived it in and couldn’t afford the morgtage and foreclosed on it. Got a GREAT deal out of their misap being that I bought under market value and walked in with over $30k in equity just by signing on the dotted line…..
The family RENTING MY INVESTMENT property is a WHITE family from S.C. with 3 boys all under 7. The husband is 28 and the wife is 28. They moved to GA and couldn’t qualify for gvmnt assistance. But it’s funny that’s the first thing they applied for. So if it’s the poor black people that you support Chris….why am I putting a roof over someone’s head that should be able to do it on their own (let you tell it)….Don’t be so ignorant please. It’s not attractive.

Chris and his kind will go away when ignored. Cynthia McKinney David Dukes what’s the difference? People that vote for those kind of nuts want a person in office that they think will go up against “The Man”. When all their doing is hurting themselves and their community. McKinney stands for nothing just against most everything. The black community and all communities needs a leader with ideas and vision. If Oboma fits the bill good. McKinney is certainly not the answer. She’s a joke.

African Americans should be about the business of building black institutions and businesses capable of meeting the basic needs of black people in this country first and secondly around the globe.
If African Americans have some other bizarre differing opinion, I would immediately refer them to Chris. He may get them tried in a court of law. A guilty verdict will result in some being hanged at the state capitol and others shot for treason.
The so-called educated integrationist Negroes profit from the servile condition of African Americans while feigning concern; the masses are not smart enough to unravel the integrationist scheme.

I am a white man and even though this CHRIS appears to be white as well, he doesn’t speak for us all. He is a moron, but please don’t allow his racial slurs to prompt those of color to strike back with a racist remark as well. This is why our country is going down the toilet. I’m sorry…but Cynthia McKinney is a big JOKE.
What AN EMBARRASSMENT SHE IS TO GEORGIA PERIOD!!!!!
People need to vote for a person…for their qualities and what they bring to the table. Voting on basis of RACE is incredibly naive!
Cynthia McKinney needs to get a life…get humble….. and find something else to do. I do believe the people in Atlanta have sent her the message….. go away!
++++++++++++++++++++
The previous comments…..my word. Will the South always be known for RACE ISSUES? Does it have to be about the color of your skin??? Culture will never progress if it continues to stand under the umbrella of throwing stones about who said what and who did what and blah blah blah blah blah. EVERY RACE & EVERY CULTURE, doesn’t matter what color you are or WHERE you came from has had their issues…. FOCUS ON SOMETHING ELSE FOR A CHANGE???? or is that how little your mind is?

Charles,
Do you have any idea how many riots and protests would happen if it was announced that WET was being rolled out as well as a White Miss America pagent? The racist NAACP, SCLC, etc would be all over it. 95% of black people do not have a brain. Look at the Vick thing. Even after everything, they are still backing him up and supporting him after what he did. Pathetic. How often when a white person gets into trouble to you see white protest and white people claiming racism? Black people are what cause race problems in this country.

I will say that you white people better be careful. If they indoctrinate you all into the New World Order/integration, the elite white people will profit from the servile condition of the masses of white people.

Chris,
You don’t understand your government. The government controls those organizations, NAACP, SCLC, etc.
Look, Arthur Blank decided to go in another direction. Jim Mora and Jr. had warned coaches that Mike Vick is a coach killer; not really good. When they brought Bobby Petrino in, Vick’s fate had been sealed. They decided to move in another direction without Vick.
If it had not been dog fighting, it would have been his unreported taxes, etc. One way or the other, Mike Vick would no longer be the quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons.

Can we just put mcKinney in a box and Fed Ex her over to Iran? the joke of a piece of flesh with a chip on her shoulder keeps popping up like a bad Jerk in the box. We need a President with cajones to stand up to the Arabs, the illegals and the UN. Seal the borders, deport or kill those that break and enter illegally, and get gas prices down toa dollar a gallon. THAT will get the economy going. If we all stopped blaming others and took responsibility for our actions, then things will get better. Along with a better judicial system that does not plea bargain murder cases, and has competent jurors in the box.

How much experience did the Commander- in-chimp have? Apparently experience isn’t a factor with voters. He’s been learning on the job and has been a total disaster. BEING AN AMERICAN MEANS
That even if you are a gadfly, represent an unpopular social group and political stance(s) and does so in a rather loud, quirky and often unlogical fashion you still have the right to paticipate in the political process. Overwhelming “local whites” dislike for McKinney plus the making of direct enemies with a war bound president with a patriotic mandate and a bit of her own unraveling has allowed class distinctions to divide “the Blacks” over Cynthia’s popularity and even voicing the sentiment of some of the more “thuggish” elements of the “Black” community which includes STAUNCH Vick fans.
Its a shame that unpopularity erases a persons gleaming Character measurements; INTEGRITY. Cynthia Mckinney was censurded for maintaining the same anti war stance against Iraq pre 911 and still maintains the same stance and has been a constant nuisance to the anti Iraq regime of Republicans.
Unorthodoxy is not a character defect nor is it a sign of malfesance, C** McKinney has defended the 1st admendment by contiuously defending the same position while it was popular and while it was unpopular. She does not appear to me much of a joke at all.
And, I am not a fan of her personality.

i am not supporting all the stands that cynthia mckinney has taken through the years, but a lot of the time she has been right. she can be shrill at times, but i believe she served her constituents well. if this had been any other rep., she would have been called courageous. i believe she was right about pres. bush and his reasons for going to war. she took the stand that this war was about generating huge profits for companies like halliburton, with the beneficiaries being friends of the pres. and veep. again, i feel she was right in her sentiments. a lot of people refuse to hear her truths, they prefer to kill the messenger, while disregarding the message. i think she should run again, against h. johnson or any of the other ga. reps. in my opinion, she has more credubility than the pres. or newt gingrich. you can also through zig-zag zell’s name in the infamy ring too. funny how silent he’s become, after democrats all of his nonsense.

The major public problem today is usury…overcharging consumers for the use of money to buy homes, cars and necessities. The second major problem is the belief, on the part of most Americans, that the use of debt increases their buying power. I want to hear Cynthia, Obama and other so-called “black leaders” speak out on the money issues (debt issues) of our time. Daddy King sold debit life insurance, one of the worst ripoffs in Georgia. Hosea Williams voted for every bad piece of consumer legislation that came before the General Assembly in his time. The Title Pawn Law, which permits pawn transactions at 300 per cent per year interest, was introduced by a black representative and has been defended by the chair of the Black Caucus in the General Assembly. When are black politicians going to wake up to the real problems of black people and do something about them? Sid

Cynthia never had the guts, or intelligence, to say the proven truth: Bush/Cheney did 9-11. Perhaps it’s because she, along with the 9% African-Americans who vote GOP, is Roman Catholic.
White and Black Whigs (Whig = anti-Roman Catholic) created America: check out the first POTUS, on the back of the $2 bill - the only Black, first row seated fifth from the left…John Hanson.
Problems of Blacks and Whites are the same: Bush (whose father killed JFK and whose grandfather was Hitler’s banker) committed 9-11 and invaded Iraq when Saudi “royal family”-threatening Saddam risked toppling the Fed’s “house of cards” by switching to Euros for oil. It is not a coincidence that JFK removed the Fed from control of our money supply with Exec. Order 11,100 and as soon as Vatican-banker Rockefeller-front GHWBush and the Roman Catholic CIA killed him the Fed was restored to power. So, too, was JFK’s Vietnam withdrawal order, NSAM 263, canned.
The Roman Anti-Christ has usurped us and we must regain Our Country. Perverts like Larry Craig, Bush, Gingrich, etc, serving the bi-partisan false elite Our Founder, Mr. Jefferson, warned could use the government to oppress us, will never be removed from power until they are expunged by an enlightened and enraged People.

It’s always amazing how far off-topic these comments get! LOL! Ms. McKinney’s point was simply to make sure that voters are voting on the issues rather than simply siding on racial lines/ties. There’s nothing wrong with that. Unlike Ms. McKinney, I am an Obama supporter, but I completely agree with her on the fact that everyone needs to research the candidates/parties out there before making their decisions. The fact of the matter is: the average American will not research the candidates, let alone research the 3rd party folks. This is where advertising/fundraising money comes into play. Whomever can get their name ‘out there’ the best or the most, wins. shrugs
