Canadians have always been a suspicious-looking lot

In Quebec, President Bush sat down Monday for some friendly conversations with the leaders of Canada and Mexico.

The three-way summit was under the guise of something called the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, a compact intended to allow the three nations to address mutual problems on health, security and commercial issues.

The meeting sent a bolt of — well, to say “paranoia” would be too loaded. Let’s say, “extreme concern.”

Bush’s meeting sent a bolt of extreme concern through the ranks of hardcore opponents of illegal immigration in Georgia, who held their own gathering at the State Capitol even as Bush held his.

D.A. King and two state legislators, Sen. Nancy Schaefer (R-Turnerville) and Rep. Tim Bearden (R-Villa Rica), led the way in condemning the Mexico-United States-Canadian event as a secretive kabal to loosen borders and allow illegal immigration to flourish.

“I have been very aware for a very long time that a lot of the governmental and media elite have a goal of open borders. That goal has not changed. It has just been blacked out and gone underground since 9/11,” King said.

In other words, the Security and Prosperity Partnership is the Trilateral Commission of the new century. The purpose of the SPP is to “integrate and deeply integrate the United States of America with those two nations,” said King.

Just as the first President Bush was suspected of collaboration with internationalists on the TC, the second Bush is suspected of colluding with the two other members of the SPP. One-continent government versus one-world government. The son’s ambitions are smaller.

King reminded the two dozen people in attendance of Bush No. 43’s roots, reading a line from a speech King said W. made as a candidate in 2000 in Miami: “By nominating me, my party has made a choice to welcome the new America.”

The news out of the noon presser:

First, King has formed a new group, called Americans for Sovereignty.

Secondly, King displayed a letter signed by 22 members of Congress, including U.S. Reps. Tom Price of Roswell and Phil Gingrey of Marietta. “The SPP process…is being conducted in a secretive manner with a view to ‘harmonizing’ U.S., Canadian and Mexican policies…in ways that may actually undermine our security and sovereignty,” the missive said.

Said King: “I am …curious about the lack of signatures from anybody else in the Georgia delegation.”

Now should that — or should it not — cause some extreme concern among the five other members of the Georgia GOP delegation?

I have extreme concern about the typo on the name of the organization… It is “Americans For Sovereignty”. Gracias.

“There shall be open borders” - a proposed five word amendment to the (U.S.) constitution from 1984.

“A republic, if you can keep it” - Ben Franklin in reply to a question on what government had been created for the U.S. 1787.

One must wonder if Franklin would be “paranoid” - let’s say “extremely concerned” - about the open borders concept. Or the endless attempts to legalize 20 million illegal aliens in the U.S. Or the fact that Bush refuses to secure American borders in a war on terror. Hmm……tough one.

“There shall be open borders” - a proposed five word amendment to the (U.S.) constitution from 1984.

The 1984 proposal for open borders came from the Wall Street Journal and was met with little “extreme concern from the rest of the media…as was the 2001 AJC editorial titled “OUR OPINIONS: Bush, Fox should pursue union similar to Europe” Now, should that - or should it not - cause some extreme concern among Georgians?…Republicans or not.

DA, Sorry to tell you that on this one you are way off base. Why do I say that? The majority in Congress are Democrats and it doesn’t matter what GW agrees to with Mexico and Canada, Congress will not approve any funding for the SPP and they have so much as said so. Granted the SPP is not a treaty that has to be ratified by congress but nothing happens w/o $$. Besides, Let Lou Dobbs handle this one.

Back from Iraq - Welcome home!

Bad news: the SPP of North America has been operating for more than 2 years now…somehow w/o even a vote on funding. Sorry to tell you.

The Social Security Totalization agreement was signed by the heads of both Mexico’s and the U.S. Social Security depts. in 2004. Likely means something? The above blog ignored a lot of facts and quotes presented today, I hope you will see our site and make up your mind with some of them. www.AmericanSov.org

WELCOME HOME! THANK YOU for your service!

Don’t look now, but Bush has refused to secure American borders in the war on terror. That likely means something?

Odd thing to hear from a vet:”let Lou Dobbshandle this one”.

As one that attended the conference at the Capital, I find these comnments as I would have expected from someone you hasn’t truely researched the SPP and it’s mission.

What D.A. King has under taken is to educate Americans on the issues effecting our country. If the Journal and many other newspapers in America truley did their jobs of reporting all the facts, Mr. King could take a couple days off.

D.A. King has under taken to educate us on the issues, is having knowledge of what effects our country a bad thing? If the Journal did their job of telling the whole story then Mr. King may be able to take couple days off.

Even Canadians view this agreement with suspicion.

Can someone please explain how a member of the executive branch can unilaterally make an agreement with any nation to open our sovereign borders without so much as asking congress?

Read the information obtained by Judicial Watch. Then decide for yourself.

There are striking parallels between the formation of the European Union and the possible hemispheric merging of the United States with Canada and Mexico.

Both started with simple trade agreements. Then in Europe, a common currency was mandated. I recently read that the EU has authority to arrest and imprison citizens of constituent countries.

Is that the direction that NAFTA and the SPP are taking us? It seems quite possible.

What is especially interesting is the lack of coverage on the issue over the last two years.

I will try to make this short. If this SPP/NAU was so great and wonderful, then why are the CITIZENS not represented and have a say? Why is our congress and senate being left out (unless they are in on this?) I will say this, if our senators and congressmen that are being silent about this think they are going to profit from it (no matter what they have been promised) it is going to come back to bite them in the a*! If this goes through there will no LONGER BE A SENATE OR CONGRESS! FOOLS! You are not just selling us out, you are shooting yourself in the foot!

The “friendly discussions” are not so friendly to our sovereign borders. Quite a few Canadians have concerns over these talks as well.

Can someone please explain to me how a president can sign an agreement with foreign nations to open the borders to our sovereign nation without so much as having a discussion in congress?

Read the information obtained by Judicial Watch.

I think D.A. King is right on this.

Look out, the new America leaves middle-class Americans out in the cold. Easy for Bush to pull this off, when American Idol can get 9000 people to the Dome for an insignificant “15 minutes of fame”, but the borders of this country are being remapped, & people don’t think it effects them!! We do deserve what we get!! We are being fed a big fat bologna burrito, & D.A. King is the one I want keeping MY eyes on the 2nd course- the turkey taco! It’s being plated as we sleep. Hasta la vista’ America!& Adios, too!

There should have been greater outrage when the Social Security Totalization Act was discovered, by a seniors group through Freedom of Information Act with a lot of foot dragging by our government I might add. Yet there is hardly any note made of this, yet all employed citizens are forced to contribute to this poncey scheme weekly (except Congress of course, they have a plan they can actually depend upon).

So, if you want to believe that the North American Union is just a conspiracy theory, all the facts and evidence brought forth will not convince you anyway. As far as money appropriation by Congress, that detail has been decided by converting our money system to a new integrated one - called the Amero. And Bush has given himself executive decision privileges to handle the tricky little details.

Most big business is behind this globalization effort and we will become a dispensable peasant class, as most Mexican nationals are in their home country. Study the business groups pushing for this integration, and you will indeed be afraid of the future of your children and grandchildren.

I think every media person, state legislator and citizen in Georgia need to ignore D.A. King, he is an embarassment to our state. His intolerance toward anybody that is non-white is disgusting. He once said liberal democrats were registering known illegal Hispanic Al Queda members, and that many illegal Hispanics were to to blow up our country. It is more pathetic out Republican state legislators listen to this windbag.

So, it seems like the pro-illegal immigrant lobby is responding angrily to D.A.Kings educating the public on the SPP & NAU plan to change this country into something that pleases them & takes in all of Mexico’s poor underclass w/out any accountability to the Mexican government. The preliminary test of this plan has already been set in motion by not securing our borders, & burdening the working-class of this country. The elite are profiting from this invasion, & these are the people that the Bush clan are looking out for. In 10 - 15 years, the likely hood of a foreign national running & winning the Presidential election of this country is not just an imaginary wizard @ the end of the yellow-brick-road. It is more a reality based on the real condition our country is in,the unwillingness of the American people to rise up & put a stop to this, the fact that our children are getting no more than a 3rd world education ,the strength & power the drug cartel are gaining to allow them to take over our streets and lastly, the media suppressing the really frightening deception that is taking place behind closed doors in Canada today. I had to really search the back pages of the AJC to find anything on this huge secret meeting. Shhhh,…. I guess the AJC is in on the secret & wants to keep it that way!

lucky @8:23am — No one had to use a FOIA request to learn about HR 279, the Social Security Totalization Act. This legislation is not a secret that has to be searched out. Anyone with a basic idea of how to use the internet can find out the current status of the legislation in Congress. Some of you are posting as if this legislation has become law. Let’s stick to the facts plese. HR 279 was introduced by Representative Barbara Cubin (R-WY) on 1/18/07 and referred to the House Rules Committee and the House Ways and Means Committee, which sent it to the Subcommittee on Social Security. That is it. End of story. No hearings have been held meaning that the legislation has not moved any further than being introduced. Just because Ms. Cubin introduced the legislation doesn’t mean it will become law. Members of Congress can introduce legislation on whatever they like. IT DOES NOT MEAN IT WILL BECOME LAW. Did some of you guys skip 8th grade Civics????

maria @ 9:45am - “the fact that our children are getting no more than a 3rd world education.”

I don’t think it is quite accurate to compare the US education system to that of a third world country, however, let’s run with your premise. Could the lack of educational excellence in this nation be because so many people complain that they pay too much in taxes? It takes tax dollars to pay teachers, buy textbooks, pay teachers, etc. Also, it seems that American parents are more concerned that the high school football team be properly equipped at the expense of ensuring that the academic goals of the schools are met. For instance, in Europe students are expected to speak 3, yes that is THREE, languages. Educational goals like that require a committment from the government to provide adequate funding (through taxation) and for strong parental involvement.

Correction of sorts — I see that there is a Social Security Totalization Act and a Social Security Totalization Agreement. My point stands regarding the Act, and you’ll all be glad to know I have nothing to say about the Agreement. I’ll have to look into that one!

Ignore this on Social Security…it will only confuse your position with facts. “Even though the Social Security commissioners of both Mexico and the United States signed the totalization agreement in June 2004, the actual text of the agreement has not yet been made available. That will happen only after both the Department of State and the President approve it and send it to Congress for review” http://www.cis.org/articles/2004/back904.html

Pay no attention to the me, as I plead guilty to illegal gambling charge in 1977. Do not read any of the well referenced information, facts and quotes on our Website.

Ignore that the stated goal is to expand NAFTA to include the free flow of people and that Emory U had a seminar advocating that concept last Oct…ignore the fact that it was promoted on the local illegal alien /open borders lobby Website. http://www.galeo.org/event.php?event_id=0000000190

Relax…drink your kool-aid.
