Vernon Jones: Up on the air, in two fashions
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Was making the trip down to Georgia Southern University on Saturday. Lo and behold, Vernon Jones stared down at me from a high-flying billboard on the right side of I-16 outside of Dublin.
Now I’ve just finished the Sunday morning coffee and the “Georgia Gang” on WAGA. And there’s Jones again, in a 30-second TV spot touting his accomplishments in DeKalb County.
As of June 30, the Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate reported $154,403 in cash on hand. Not a large sum. But it’s clear he’s not afraid to spend the little he’s got.

The money he’s spending is, doubtlessly, extorted. This gangster should have gone down a long time ago for rape. We don’t need any more criminals in government. We already have more than enough!

Has Vern apologized for his 2004 GWB vote yet? Has he admitted his mistake in voting for Bush?

Jones’ NC democrackkk heritage is typical when you realize the heights of corruption that prevails in NC…
Former democrackkk House Speaker JIM BLACK just went to the Federal Slammer last week, AND got fined $1+ MILLION for CORRUPTION, one of 6-8 democrackkks serving prison terms… Democrackkks will ruin your state as they have done to NC…
Strive to be smarter than a democrackkk, and dont EVER vote for one because they keep us ALL oppressed!

Who has Vernon Jones surrounded himself with that he thinks he is a real contender? Delusional. Why doesn’t he seek a state seat, something he can actually win? When are these guys/gals going to start doing what is right for their constituents instead of what makes their egos feel better? Ugh!

Excuse me, sir, but the gentleman from DeKalb County is a candidate for the United States from the pretty hot and great state of Georgia. What did you you expect him to do? Send up smoke signals imploring the residents of the state to vote for him? That’s just like the comment you made a couple of weeks ago about Mr. Jones having chartered an “air conditioned” (how DARE he?) bus to ferry supporters over to Marrietta for his official announcement ceremony. Man, we’re in Georgia…: What did you expect him to do in that case? Send them over on NON-AIRCONDITIONED buses?!? It’s clear you have a focused subliminal ax to grind AND from the looks of it it appears as if that ax is gradually morphing itself into a hatchet…, as in an ongoing, deliberate and focused hatchet job! on reporting on this man’s candidacy.

If he actually raped them broads then he would have gone down. That was nothing but a freak session, that after voluntarily participating, the girl didn’t want her other friend to think she was a freak like that. She cried rape instead.

I’m just glad we won’t have to deal with him for another terms as CEO. How in the world he got re-elected is beyond belief. What a gangster.

It is obvious that JiMiFLiX is a Vernon staffer or volunteer. Now, while I agree that Unaffiliated Voter is a moron and is often a troll on these here blogs, JiMiFLiX go back to work.

Yo SM, does “sm” stand for “sado-masochist” or perhaps “silly me”? if it’s the former, then you’re obviously a deviate of the highest and/or lowest order (your choice) and i can’t do nothin ’ for ya; if it’s the latter, then, i agree with you wholeheartedly & without reservation! nevertheless, let me just say that about this: vernon jones happens to be a good man who’s done a lot of good for his constituency e.g., Skate Park Grand Opening . the man’s head is square on his shoulders and his heart is in the right place. needless to say, his political belief systems, values and scruples are all in working order. and while i’m not a staff or volunteer (nor do i even live in the county of dekalb), i have no hesitancy to support a man who will represent REAL change in this state as opposed to supporting a continuation of the entrenched status quo of the gray eminence currently occupying that senate seat. now, with all that being said and done, go and look at some more of my pitchaz JiMiFLiX! The Best Photographer In Gawgia ….! you’ll be a better person for it.

Be afraid. Be very afraid. You think Cynthia McKinney was an embarrassment -here comes another over-sized, crooked ego on a power trip…..

Vernon Jones has about as much chance of winning a Senate seat as does Michale Vick. Both are either barking up the wrong tree and of hiking their legs on the public.

He is a liar and a cheat. Hopefully his real story will be told one day and he can share a jail cell with Mayor Campbell. Not quite sure why people still support him at all.

It is refreshing to find that there is one supporter for Vernon Jones. You’re da man, JiMiFLiX! I was feeling sorry for Vernon since everyone else had a very poor opinion of him. It seemed that all who were his “supporters” were the sycophants who call him “boss”. Vernon should spend all he can because there isn’t enough money in the country for him to buy integrity.

I am a resident of clayton county but i lived in dekalb county for a little while. I am originally fron L.A., California. Vernon has done alot for Dekalb county when i moved to Dekalb in 2000 there we very little parks, almost no sidewalks, traffic was horrible, and no place for senior citizens. Now 7 years later wew have more parks, sidewalks, a state pf the art senior center, and the traffic conditions are improving so to call a man of action with a who fixed so many problems in so little time, as he promised the voters who elected and re-elected him a gangster is a direct insult to me and the voters in the county. Maybe he can address some of the same problems in Clayton, Fulton, Butts and the other hundred or so counties in the state that we all call home.
