DEL.ICIO.USPaul Broun trying to rally ‘real’ Christians to his side

Peachpundit.com has snagged an e-mail it says was sent out by the Paul Broun campaign — part of an effort to bring out conservative Christians in Tuesday’s run-off election for the 10th District congressional seat.
The e-mail, which appears over the name of Broun’s wife Niki, declares that rival Republican Jim Whitehead is “uncomfortable” speaking in churches.
Here’s the gist:
It is not my place to judge Jim Whitehead’s spiritual condition but I’ll just tell you that a pastor in Hartwell invited Paul and Mr. Whitehead to speak at his church.
Paul accepted gladly, as he has in many churches. Mr. Whitehead said he felt uncomfortable speaking in churches and didn’t think you should mix church and state.
”Team Whitehead“ (as they like to call themselves) also told the Atlanta Journal and Constitution on June 20, the day after the election that forced him into a run-off with Paul, in an apparent threat to us (we live in Athens) ”We’re coming to Athens and hell is coming with us.“

There is supposed to be a seperation of Church and State according to our Constitution. Yet persons namely the ” Moral Majority”(self named and proclaimed,demoralize the Church bringing for personal attacks on people to terrorize other into believing that these persons are more moral than others. Cut the Bull and get real. God is watching you lie and manipulate His truth.

Alton, FYI. for all practical purposes the moral majority has been dead for …ummmm.. oh, 20 YEARS. Hey if you want to sound like you know what you are talking about, some simple facts would be nice….better luck next time.

What you are not hearing about is the number of times that Paul Broun Jr. has showed up un-invited to churches and indirectly forcing a minister to “introduce” him. While being introduced, Broun staffers are in the parking lot loading windshields of cars with Broun literature. Meanwhile, after the service, Broun will stand by the minister, hand out literature and shake hands. It’s an intimidating ploy.
Whitehead has stated that he will speak to church groups during non-service periods. He doesn’t believe in interrupting the minister’s message for his own personal gain. As I understand it, he has spoken to several church groups. I know Whitehead is a strong and faithful Christain. This is a guy who asks a blessing before every meal. Can Paul Broun Jr and his wife say that?

Yet another reason to respect Mr. Whitehead and wonder who on earth these “real” Christians are who want to undermine religious freedom. Apparently they’ll all vote for a self-aggrandizing loudmouth like Broun, which doesn’t seem very Christlike.

I just want to speak out for Mr. Broun. He came to our church and I have found him to be a man pleasing to the Lord. He gave us his testimony of how his life has been transformed through the saving power of Jesus Christ. He was running the race, not for himself, but to be pleasing to God. He said to me and my husband, “If it is God’s will for me to win — I WILL!!! This was God’s race and not my own.” Please don’t speak negatively about someone you have never met. I have met Mr. Broun, voted twice for him and will back him as long as he stays on the track that sent him to Washington! God Bless America and Dr. Broun.

I have also met Paul Broun and he is a false Christian. The Word says that we shall know false prophets by their fruits, and Paul Broun has borne corrupt and rotten fruit. He has repeatedly borne false witness against Christians and also violated Matthew 6:5, prohibiting public proselytizing for worldly gain. According to God’s word, Paul Broun has already received his reward from the world and he will not enter the kingdom of heaven. This wicked false prophet has forsaken the kingdom of God. He is a man with no morals or principles who deceives the body of Christ so that he may profit from the ignorance of those who worship Him. Unless he truly repents on his knees before Christ and accepts the saving grace of our Lord he will be cast into the nether regions the rest of the unbelievers, where he will dwell with Satan forever.
