New legislation to ban Baseball and Hot Dogs in America.
In two new bills being introduced into the Senate by Harry Reid (D-NV), and Edward Kennedy (D-MA) the legislation’s would put a stop to all sales of hot dogs in the United States and also make the playing of Baseball in any minor or major league unlawful if passed.
When the two Senators were asked their reasoning behind this new and shocking baseball ban they explained that major and minor league baseball doesn’t seem to lobby them with special interest groups. Henceforth, they could not gain monetary or political gain . Based on those conclusions the two Senators feel that the sport is no longer in the best interest of the American people.
Furthermore, stated Reid, since we are now looking at a new and massive influx of Mexican legals soon to be topping 50 million, it wouldn’t be respectful to our newest citizens to continue the game. Our hispanic legal friends prefer Soccer and we should of course digress to their preference for Soccer instead of baseball. According to Congressman Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) a new Soccer Interest concession called “SOCME” (Soccer Oversight Comittee for Mexicans) has just stepped up and pledged $500,000 dollars to both Reid and Kennedy’s campaign in the coming months. This should secure the passage of the bill.
While the Baseball ban is on the fast track to the floor for committee, the Hot Dog legislation has been shelved until next week while Senators await further response from the meat packers unions. Upon initial talks, the meat packers union could not come up with necessary funds required by the Reid and Kennedy camps as well as some key others. Said Senator Reid, any contribution less than $700,000 is not acceptable to his office and therefore not in the best interests of the American people.
Senator Kennedy responded further that since we are now looking at a new and massive influx of Mexican legals soon to be topping 75 million, it wouldn’t be respectful to our newest citizens to continue with the frankfurters. Our hispanic legal friends prefer Taco’s and Burrito’s and we should of course digress to their preference for their traditional Mexican tastes. BUT, Kennedy also stated that this position may change depending on any monetary contributions that may be offered by Hormel, Swift and Oscar Mayer in the next few days.
Please stay tuned for updates on this and many more bills that will be introduced in the Senate soon.
Note: This message is fictitional albeit typical of the legislative hypocracy before us.
Isakson and Chambliss crafted the bill. Backing off at this vote was tactical: with enough votes for it to pass there was no need for them to give a genuine American a handle to beat them with next election…so far. Congress is one-third Catholic with the remainder split many ways. In publicly traded corporations 5% is enough to control votes if the remainder is split-up. If there were one righteous in the Senate Bush would have never succeeded in the grab of the White House. The crime is overt.
After working in Republican politics for over twenty years here’s how to stop this immigration amnesty bill. Call Isakson and Chambliss at both local and DC offices and tell them you appreciate their voting against cloture… however, if the Senate as a whole does pass the bill you will vote against Chambliss next year as a protest against the Republican Party. We have to get Johnny and Saxby so scared they will lean hard on their soft GOP compatriots.

Well it seems the ones against this bill are siding with the AFL-CIO and the Senate’s only socialist Bernie Sanders. Fitting that an extreme minority is resorting to emotional irrational behavior to keep the status quo. While they claim this bill is amnesty I guess they forget not doing anything gives amnesty to the ones here and does nothing to stop more from coming. Good job kool aid drinkers who let Boortz do your thinking for you. Congrats on keeping the door open for more to come in and ensure business continues to get cheap labor at America’s expense.
I was wondering if some of the people who rant against this bill would come up with at least one idea of their own instead of beating down the ones that have been put forth. (I believe that crap about a fence is in this bill) I am not surprised at the votes of our Senators as they have never been among the politically courageous crowd. It’s nice to know that they bend at the thought of the talk radio crowd being mad at them. This scare tactic by certain people on this vote just infuriates me because all they say is no, no, no, and have no ideas of how to fix the problem on their own.
Off subject I know but after viewing the pictures of the death penalty protesters at the execution of the triple murderer who Georgia finally put to death last night, why are so many fat ugly women?
Chambliss and Isakson work for Rome/Rockefeller/fascist plutocracy…that’s why they designed the Immigration Bill to grant amnesty to the 20 million illegals who have come here since the Roman Catholic Reagan White House opened the doors in conjunction with the “National Pastoral Plan for Hispanic Ministry’s” published stratagem for using illegals to usurp Our Republic, founded by true Whigs. Read and learn “deegee,” though dumb goose I’m sure you ain’t. Chambliss and Isakson are scum or they would have nothing to do with a closet-queen draft-dodger like Bush. Their vote yesterday was tactical as they each have to defend against the majority of Baptists and aware non-Roman Catholics in Our Great State of Georgia who, in their hearts, really know, from their childhoods and family memories, what’s really going on with the limp wristed, soft-handed employers using Latino “low-caste” slaves/Indios for cheap labor and high profit.

Figures we lost this vote. At least we “talk radio fans” were able to change over our two Senators, who I might add, voted the correct way.
Too bad that Teddy and crowd sold American workers down the crap shoot again.
Time to focus on The House, since it looks like this will be a foregone conclusion in the Senate.

Scott Miner — The vote today was a procedural motion. No bill passed. The bill will now be debated on the floor of the U.S.

Thank you, Brad. Hey, geniuses: this was a procedural vote, not a vote on the bill itself. Quit your silly panicking.
Weren’t most of you griping about a similar procedural issue awhile back, chanting “Up or down vote, let ‘em vote on it”?
