Because Bible-based conservatives need to rock, too
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Never let it be said that home-schooled kids are immune from teen-aged angst.
Peachpundit.com found it first, but here’s a link to a Youtube video put together by Jordan Greene, the 15-year-old son of 10th District congressional candidate Bill Greene.
The video opens with Greene the father, a conservative Republican, at a family Bible study, reading Jesus’ command to love your enemies. Then it shifts to a daydream in which young Jordan Greene mouths the words to the Right Brothers’ “The List” — i.e, “liberals that we can’t stand.”

Soooo…is this sanctioned by Mr. Greene? I mean, if so, he is not just mocking the Word of God? Or is this a rogue son of the candidate? I’m confused.

So assuming that there’s that little “skit” part at the end where the kid looks at the camera, I’m going to say Greene was part of it. Great Christian values!
Then again, it’s been pointed out that this supposedly “stand up” guy participates in name-calling on Peach Pundit, so I’d assume the apple didn’t fall far from the tree.

Oh come on. Give the kid a break. It’s clearly tongue-in-cheek. Some of you people need to lighten up.

I wonder what the Secret Service would think about the part that imposes Hillary Clinton’s head on JFK’s body in footage from the limo in Dallas.

Classy move there Christian kid, super-imposing Hillary Clinton’s face over JFK’s in the fatal limo!
A good patriotic flag waving kid like this should be in Iraq fighting for his country.
Oh I forgot. You all give each other waivers.

I don’t see what the bid deal is besides beginning with the Bible study. I am a liberal and this kid was just having some fun. Maybe we all need to lighten up a bit!

I also wonder what the secret service would think. Maybe they should investigate. Not ammusing at all in light of recent events at VT. Pathetic.

He’s only 15 he can’t serve yet.
But I get the jist, The Young Republicans of Georgia (18-30 yr olds) do not even list fighting for our country as part of their mission statement.

Dito- lighten up guys! As a young person, hey I think he captured how we feel, as well as our humor and take on politics. You should be proud that he even cares at all. And you have to admit, he did a real good job!
So, I say live a little :)

I agree with Nicholas - as far as I’m concerned you can’t read the new testament and NOT be a liberal. But give the kid a break - he’s creative and having a good time. Lighten up….

Its funny, I’m sure everyone would get a kick out of it if it was Bush’s head super imposed over Kennedy’s in that limo.

As any observant person can know with absolute moral certainty that Bush’s father and, his grandfather’s protege, Richard Nixon were participants in the CIA’s assassination of John Kennedy, with E. Howard Hunt - the Old Tramp - it is worthwhile to see Republican candidates overseeing light being made of it. The Democrats aren’t much better. If they were patriots they would seek to bring to justice the traitors who killed our president to keep us in Rome’s Vietnam and who have now committed 9-11.

very, very funny video. this kid has a great sense of humor, and it’s creative. i don’t like the kennedy car scene at all, i agree. but overall it’s the most interesting thing coming out of this entire special election.

So you don’t care that Bush’s father helped kill Kennedy to send 58,000 of us to die for Roman Catholic interests in S.E. Asia? It bothers you not at all that Richard Nixon’s guilt was so obvious he wrote three, separate, false stories about his experience learning of JFK’s murder? Gingrich, Atwater, Rove, Delay, Cheney, Bush…the list of lying perverts goes on and some just “can’t see” the pattern of birds flocking together? Come out of Babylon.

It doesn’t bother me that the kid made the video, but that his father is reading scripture admonishing us to love our enemies while the video is talking about people to hate. Take the Bible out of it and it’s a funny video — but with the candidate reading the a scriptural admonishment to love our enemies and then with a wink and a chuckle participating in the video, he is simply put a hypocrite.
