Rudy comes to town tomorrow, to steal thunder from Gingrich and Romney
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani has made a last-minute decision to hold a Wednesday “town hall” meeting in Atlanta, to capitalize on any gains made during tonight’s GOP debate in South Carolina.
It’s a noon event at Oglethorpe University on Peachtree Road, in the Talmadge Room of the Emerson Student Center.
Both Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney are already scheduled to be here this week, at events surrounding the state GOP convention. See this post below.

To anyone going to Rudi’s speech. Be sure to tell him that Ron Paul is right on the money. Everyone who is making money off this war and every other violent foreign intervention this country is involved with needs you to believe that “they hate us because we are free.” We have been killing innocent people, manipulating elections, assassinating democratically elected leaders, and otherwise causing misery all over the middle east since the beginning of the 20th century. That may not make 9-11 justified, but as Rudi so thoughtfully pointed out, if you aren’t willing to face that reality, then you don’t deserve to be president.
Until we stop what we are doing, we will always be in their sights. Ron Paul is the only candidate that is proposing a responsible foreign policy that preserves defence, but ends the activities of empire that have so enraged the muslim world.
Do your own research about what we have been doing in the Middle East. Ask yourself if we as americans would just sit back and tollerate these actions if they were directed against us. These countries cannot face us on the battlefield and win, so they use the tactics of terrorism.
Wake up america, Ron Paul keeps winning these debates because HE is in touch with america. These ideas are shocking to you because you are out of touch. And so is Rudi.
