The details on Obama: 20,000 tickets for Saturday, on the Tech campus
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
The Barack Obama presidential campaign plans to distribute 20,000 free tickets to the event, which will be held at Yellow Jacket Park on the Georgia Tech campus, said Kirk Dornbush, vice chairman of the Illinois Democrat’s national finance committee.
Dornbush said an organizational meeting for rally volunteers will be held at 7 tonight in the Regency V room at the Hyatt-Regency Hotel.
From the looks of things, this is part of a Southern swing for the candidate. On Friday, Obama is in South Carolina, speaking at a fund-raiser for that state’s legislative black caucus. So says The State newspaper of Columbia, S.C.

Oh Heck more free tickets for the masses… another Six Flags debacle on it’s way. Hopefully it won’t tie up I-20.

You meant MARTA was going to be tied up for Obama, not I-20!

I dunno, free tickets are not a big draw anymore…what other free stuff are they offering?
I really need something worthy of my time to get out of bed early and listen to Hilary’s Vice Presidential candidate….

AS a Republican I cannot think of a better ticket than these two, no matter if it is her as the President and him as the Vice President, or the other way around. Can we all say Micahel Ducacus at the same time. I can’t think of anyone the Republicans can toss out there that couldn’t beat these two. This is a dream. Now come on, do you really think these two can pull it off?

Sarah, first of all, it’s “Dukakis.” Second, do you really think the Republicans could pull off the election with either far-right nuts (ie. Tancredo, Hunter, Brownback, etc.) or panderers (McCain, Guiliani, etc.), all of whom still support a war in which the American people do not?

Sarah, Probably just about any candidate you people throw out there could be beat. With Georgia being one of the exceptions, the US is pulling it’s collective head out of the sand. I am no fan of Hillary, but wake up Sarah.

My bad Matt…on the spelling, I stand corrected. Hillary Clinton is the most polarizing woman on the political scene today, you love her or hate her, she lends very little middle ground to most voters. The press has handeled Mr. Obama in a hands off fashion; just wait until the gloves come off, and they will. Ms. Clinton will not allow a junior Senator from IL to steal her thunder, her machine will rip him a new one, mark my words. Trust me that Mr. Obama has uttered many, many words that he cringes in private when he thinks the press will leak , that is after they stop giving him the preferential treatment he has received thus far. What does he stand for? What do really know about him? You’re beyond naive to think Mitt Romney is not electable, keep the naivete up, you’ll be blindsided! Many discounted his chances to win the Govonors seat in the Democrat held MA and look what happened.

Why is a Democrat even campaigning in Georgia? It is unwinnable state for the left.
